Legacy Of Fire: Chronicles Of The F-ranked Anomaly-Chapter 158: The Fangs Of Chaos....
Acier had sent a powerful slash for the monster, pushing it back, trying to make sure nothing was going to hurt Darius.
Vertu had a smile on his face, and his tentacles were going on a rampage as he tried to maul Acier. Not giving her a chance to even get a breather, it was not going to be easy for anything to happen.
"It’s no use, you think there is a chance you will be able to push me back? I will make sure you dont even get the opportunity to do anything possible to weigh me down!"
Vertu was getting faster, but Acier could counter every move he was making, looking down on the abyssal monster. The warrior didn’t falter. Her moves were refined, and she could do things that no other person could do.
Moving like a fluid, she landed strikes on Vertu, trying to pin him down on the floor with her powers.
Vertu was looking at Acier, and he could feel the energy coming from her; it was similar to the one coming from Darius, and it was almost like he was in her and she was part of him.
"Oi water witch, tell me something." Vertu snarled as he lifted his spear, placing it on his shoulder, looking at the Siren of Chaos.
"You fight for him?" He snarled, looking at her, not helping but gazing at the ocean blue armor on the warrior in front of him.
"You were a servant of Thalryia, and if anything, you should be killing him! You shouldn’t be working with him!"
"Who I choose to be with doesn’t matter to you, you vile creature from the Abyss!"
Acier barked back, her body letting out its signature blue glow as she was about to attack. Looking at Vertu, she knew the next thing that was about to happen would be something she would need to keep her eye open for.
"Hmmph, at least when I pick a side I make sure I dont change. I stay still and make sure that no one would even come close to removing me. I believe that is how your sister perished!"
Vertu had a smirk on his face; he was trying to bait Acier into attacking him, and it worked.
Acier’s body flared with pure rage, getting ready to attack Vertu again, but she felt something different.
’A trap?’
She stood still as dark tendrils erupted from the ground, trying to pull her in and end her.
"Oh, you are a fast one. I want you to see the level of my power!" Vertu roared, looking at Acier, it wasn’t going to let her get away this time, and he would also bring Darius down.
"I will take you down, both you and the child of Chaos!"
Vertu looked back to see Darius healing. Michael was standing behind him, covering him in a golden cocoon.
"Darn Druid!"
Vertu roared as he was about to attack Darius, when a burst of flame sent him back, looking up, Pryion could be seen with Isakador in his hand, and he was ready to end this fight.
"Oh, if it isn’t the chivalrous knight, I thought I knocked you out?"
"Such a bold thought, but if I were knocked out by someone as weak as you, then I wouldn’t be able to bear the title I have!"
Pryion bolted forward, moving at intense speeds, trying to cut down Vertu. But the abyssal monster wasn’t going to let him get one strike, a smile on his face as he taunted Pryion with his slippery moves.
"I believe you were also someone tied to a dragon king?! You were meant to be one for Order, but now you are nothing but a pawn in chaos’s game!"
Vertu didn’t waste time to even send a powerful strike for Pryion, but before the hit could reach him.
Acier blocked it...
Both of them were looking at Vertu, and it was clear that there was a bigger fight was about to happen.
"You call us pawns, but you’re the one here doing what your cowardly brother didn’t have the balls to do."
Acier retored with her chakram ready to slice Vertu down, it wasn’t going to be a fight they would back off from. waving Seafury into its chakram form, she was ready to fight and bring an end to the monster in front of her.
"You dont know what you are talking about! Urus chose me, I am the one going to make sure that the mortal dies and the powers of Chaos go down to the Abyss, where we would use to plunge this world into devastation!"
"Choosen?" Pryion scoffed, the knight’s fiery aura covered where he stood. he had recovered from the hits, and his mana was back to half of his original state.
"You are nothing but a tool. Urus picked you out the same way he sent Delriri here. You aren’t anything special but a tool he will use for his elevation, and nothing can even stop him from doing what he is about to do."
Lifting Isakador, Pryion was ready for another blitz, but this time he had Acier by his side, and they were going to take Vertu down, even if it was by half.
Vertu, boiling with rage, was looking at the knights standing in front of him. His rage was going overboard, trying to max out.
"I will crush all of you, who do you think you are?!"
Acier smiled, turning to Pryion. Both of them locked eyes, and he gave her a slight nod. She turned back to look at Vertu.
"We are the fangs of Chaos, and we are going to be the end of you!"
Vertu let out a roar, charging for Acier and Pryion; their collision was beyond powerful, sending waves all around the dungeon.
The warriors behind were still trying to gather their strength back. Michael had healed them he was now trying to make sure that Darius was in good shape before he would enter the battlefield.
Michael was watching Pryion and Acier fight Vertu back; the blasts of water and flames made the entire dungeon feel unreal.
’Unbelievable...’ His thoughts were running wild; it was not something anyone would be able to witness like that. It was power beyond many warriors, and it was even clear that they weren’t just any level of warriors; they were a bit stronger than mythics.
"Those two are absurdly powerful, I thought Pryion was strong, but now the water knight feels different...her mana and aura, they remind me of the beach, but when you feel it for long, then it reminds me of_"
"A raging sea, uncontrolled and fierce," Theo spoke up. He was watching the fight, and the only thing on his mind was how Darius was able to control beings who were strong enough to make the warriors’ association look like a pre-school.
He turned to look at Darius. He was collecting his strength back inside the healing cocoon Michael had placed him in.
’He keeps getting stronger, and from the looks of it, he is not done yet!’ he turned back to the fight, and he saw Acier and Pryion moving like they were now one with the wind around them.
"The second one is fast," Raya could barely speak, but seeing what Acier was doing, it was clear that there wasn’t a thing that would be placed on normal ground.
"It’s almost as if she’s a current in the sea; her control and precision aren’t something I have seen before in any warrior."
Raya couldn’t believe what she was watching, and the knights weren’t something that anyone would want to bump into.
Back in the fight, Pryion and Acier were able to blast Vertu back a bit, holding his ground. The monster wasn’t able to keep up with what was going on, flames and water coming from all angles.
Acier was faster, her body was stronger than when she was a champion for Thalryia, and it wasn’t something that she would have expected.
’My body, it’s absorbing the chaos and I feel...I feel...’
She couldn’t stand there without her body moving at an absurd speed; it was something a bit too fast. She was tapping into the chaos core bound with Darius’s soul.
She was seeing everything unraveling before her, like something was erupting inside her, not letting anything come forth.
Taking the chakram, she was ready to swing it, not waiting for anything to hold her back. Her eyes let off a blue glow, illuminating the dungeon with their fierce glow.
"Seafury: Dance of the Tidal Waves!"
Acier hurled the chakram for Vertu; the waves were so strong, and it took part of the abyssal monster’s arm.
Pryion, not letting anything hold his blade back, didn’t let anything come between what he was about to do.
"Acier, call Seafury back!"
He roared, he didn’t even wait, pulling Isakador out of its sheath, looking at the monster.
"Burn in the abyss where you came from! Rippling flame!"
Acier jumped out of the way, turning to see Pryion stand there with his sword on fire.
"Scorch him!" She said leaping out of the way, Pryion sent a blazing slash for the monster.
Ka-boom!
