Chapter 112: The Final Clash 1

The warriors and the knight charged at the Orcs, and Darius was still locked in the Cloak of Darkness.

Darius was still out cold, looking at the body in his hands. His mind still trying to put everything together, he was still lost on how he was able to kill Liu.

"How can I be so useless? There is no way for me to think of doing anything right."

Our young warrior was lost, his mind in utter confusion as he held the body in tears.

"Yes, you are weak, but are you going to let an illusion of that weight best you?"

A voice came through. Darius looked up to see Slav standing right there in front of him.

"Slav?"

"Unfortunately, yes, I am here to talk you out of this disgusting state you decided to hop into."

Slav sounded disgusted, he was trying to look at Darius and see if he would find something different.

"I told you that these creatures are vile, and they would do anything to win. They are also one of the weakest beings you would ever have to face in this world."

Slav walked over to Darius, took Liu’s body, and threw it away.

"What are you doing?!" Darius tried to rush to Slav.

Slav pushed him back, he was looking at our young warrior with signs of disappointment in his eyes.

"It’s all in your head!" Slav yelled. From the looks of things, he had had enough of Darius’s pitiful sight.

Our young warrior was looking at him, slowly his eyes went to Liu as he watched the body disintegrating.

"What is going on?"

Shocked to see what was going on right in front of him, he turned to Slav.

The Basilisk Sage rolled his eyes, he turned to the body. "You are locked in an illusion that is meant to keep you here till he lands a blow to kill you, and then there would be nothing left of you."

Darius was surprised to hear that he was locked in something like that.

"How is this possible? But I..."

"From the moment the Cloak covered you, you were bound to fall under the spell, and there was nothing you could do to save yourself from it," Slav spoke up, his tone sounding more sassy than before.

"Please, don’t fall for any of these cheap parlour tricks again. For crying out loud, you have Kurgon imbued in your left arm." Slav began walking away.

"To top all that, you also wield Ve’xa, use those two to take care of his weakling, and please don’t go dying to someone this wela, and he is the fourth son of the Abyss. If you can’t handle him then you better kiss your ass sorry here because you won’t even see Urus."

Slav turned and slowly began fading away; he wasn’t in any way happy to make an appearance like that.

"Slav.." Darius called out, turning to the sage.

"What is it?" Slav answered rather uninterested in hearing what Darius had to say.

"Thank you..." Our young warrior had a smile on his face, the sage was a bit confused to see that the young warrior had thanked him.

It wasn’t what he would have imagined, but it was something rather warm.

"Better not die." The sage said as he faded away.

Darius slowly got up, his fists clenched as he looked up.

"Don’t worry, I won’t die!" He smiled as he looked back, slowly, and he was going back to his conscious state.

It was time to end Deliri...

Deliri was healing from Pryion’s attack, he turned to Darius to see that the warrior was still wallowing in pain.

"I will end this here and now!"

The monster yelled as he brought his blade down to end Darius, but before the blade could connect, Darius used Ve’xa to block the hit.

Deliri looked surprised, he never thought that Darius would break free from the illusion like that.

"What in the world is going on?"

Deliri tried to pull his weapon away so he would be able to attack again, but before he could even do that, Darius pulled him.

"This ought to hurt." Darius smiled as he placed his left hand on Deliri’s stomach.

"Bye-bye." He said with a smile before he let out a powerful force that was strong enough to blast Deliri out of the cloak.

Darius was looking at the beast crashing back into the forest, not wasting a minute, he leaped into action, rushing for the monster.

Darius landed close to Deliri, using Ve’xa, he delivered another blow that sent Deliri crashing into more trees.

"Not letting any of your tricks get to me this time." He smiled as he watched the monster growl in pain.

’Glad to see you back on your feet.’ Azree quipped.

"Why didn’t you help me?" He asked, his focus still on Deliri. "I could have died there, and there was nothing I would be able to do about it."

’If I keep helping you in every situation that is minor, then it would make you depend on me for every decision that seems new to you.’

Azree spoke slowly, his words seemed to have startled Darius.

’I know you are strong and the very depth of your power you haven’t even seen it yet, so there is no way for you to even know you were able to break free.’

Darius stood there, he knew what Azree was saying was the truth, and there was no way he would have been able to handle anything of that caliber in the future if all he did was run to them for help.

’As I always tell you, find a way to make sure that you master your powers. They are vast and still beyond your comprehension, so....’

Before Azree could finish talking, a massive energy ball came from nowhere, hitting Darius away.

Deliri had gotten up from the ground, his eyes on Darius, determined to put an end to him.

Our young warrior managed to pull himself up, his face was squeezed.

He didn’t like the fact that Deliri was ready to fight like that.

"Come on, Ugly," He said as he cracked his neck, his eyes were on Deliri. He had a smile on his face, he pulled Ve’xa close.

"You want to kill me that bad, don’t ya?"

Deliri growled as he began charging at Darius. The young warrior was looking at the being coming for him.

"Such an uneasy one." Darius smiled as his left eye began glowing green again, his claws grew longer as he slowly began tapping into his feral side again.

"Let’s dance!"

Darius charged Deliri, and both of them clashed. Sending more ripples across the entire forest as they began their final brawl.

Darius didn’t let Deliri get any chance to do anything to him; every hit, every strike was countered with something fiercer.

Deliri noticed the way the child of chaos was facing him; all his attacks seemed to be like nothing to him, and it was irritating.

"You will fall!" Deliri roared as he brought down his cleaver for a devastating hit. Darius blocked it off, a smile on his face and a determined look on his face.

"Is that all you can do now, Ugly?"

Darius mocked Deliri, he was getting a hit on the being more than before.

Deliri looked at our young warrior. He conjured up another arm, placing it on Darius’s stomach.

"You will understand what pain is all about!" Deliri was looking at the being as he began conjuring up an attack.

"Azoul Bel Ion!" He yelled as he sent a powerful blast at the young warrior.

The blast was strong enough to blow off half of Darius’s clothing, but the warrior was looking at the being. He didn’t move a muscle, only looking at the beast.

Darius had a smile on his face, he didn’t know what being would have expected to happen.

"You know, if you had used that moments ago, then I would have been hit...."

Darius smiled as his grip tightened; he was looking at Deliri.

"But now you aren’t getting anywhere with those weak attacks of yours!"

Darius covered the being’s face with his left hand, and a powerful jade glow could be seen surging through it.

"Shattering Star!"

Our young warrior yelled as he released an attack from his left arm. The waves of the attack were so powerful, they sent more ripples through the battlefield.

It managed to push Deliri back, but Darius didn’t let him go then.

He raced for the being, targeting it with all his might.

Deliri saw that Darius wasn’t backing down for anything.

"You vile Mortal!" Deliri violently turned in the air, all his focus on Darius.

"Cries Of Despair!"

The being let out a sonokinetic wail, it pushed Darius back, but did not stop the warrior completely. Taking the hit, Darius landed on his feet. He was looking at the beast and he could see that their clash wasn’t going to end there.

"I will have to end this here and now!" He smiled, his knuckles cracking as his left hand began to glow.

Deliri stood there looking at Darius, growling as he watched the warrior.

"You will fall!"

Darius took his stance, slowly breathing as he looked at the monster.

"We will see about that..." Our young warrior said. "Now, please, don’t die on me when I use this move. I still want to play with you, so do walk out of it alive." 𝑓𝑟ℯ𝘦𝓌𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝑐ℴ𝓂

Darius let out a sigh, looking at the monster. His eyes closed as everything seemed to go quiet, his eyes calm.

"Domain Of The Dragon Sage!"
