Last Divinity: The Advent Of Dreams-Chapter 50: Inviting Merlin

Khali watched the old man through the screen with apprehension. He floated above the mountain with a smile.

The others especially the women were embarrassed though because they could see below the old man’s robes and he was not wearing any underwear.

His member was hanging lose, " Ah, sir, if you could just...lower yourself or perhaps close your robe." Samantha pleaded.

The old man looked down and grinned, " Little lady, like what you see?" Samantha looked to the u side in embarrassment.

" Let kill him." Viona suggested in a cold tone. The old man heard her through the microphone and his expression changed.

They thought he was angry at her suggestion and he was ready to press the button and fire all the nuclear missiles and every other bomb they have at him.

Then the old man looked like he was contemplating something. " That voice, that cold childish tone, I can’t mistake that."

His face grew excited, " Little demon is that you? It’s me old man Merlin do you not recognise me?"

The old man shouted, Viona looked at Khali with a blank look then reached for the button herself.

" Im killing him." Khali grabbed her hand and grinned. Viona took a step back, " What are you planning?" She asked.

Khali’s grin grew wider, " Nothing why do you think I’m planning little demon?" Everybody stepped away from him.

" Than why are you rubbing your hands like a villain?" Viona asked while taking a step back.

He came closer, " Whatever do you mean?" Everybody suddenly heard wind howling, they looked through the screen and saw while hair and a robe flowing through the air.

Merlin’s member danced with the wind, even the men looked away in embarrassment. Viona especially wanted to hide.

" I don’t know him I don’t know him I don’t know him." She kept repeating th same thing as if afraid they won’t believe her.

A massive tornado formed around old man Merlin. " Who dares harm my little demon, show yourself coward, targeting children."

He shouted, the tornado around him grew larger. The desert sand picked up and the tornad turned into a sand storm.

" Raise the shields." Khali ordered. Shields made of khaladrenium rose and covered the entire dome.

The sand storm collided with it but failed to break through which surprised Merlin. He scrutinized the blue metal but couldn’t figure it out.

Like everything else here it did not contain any mana yet was strong enough to block his attack.

Even if it was a casual attack it was still surprising. He grew curious and wanted to test the limit of this metal shield.

Khali on the other side watched everything with a blank face but deep down he was worried.

Khaladrenium was a powerful metal, after testing he figured it potential was unlimited but it was still in it infant stages.

They didn’t have the technology or power to make it stronger, as it was right it should not have enough to power to block a great spell for long.

As he had thought, the khaladrenium shield started cracking in only a few seconds yet Merlin did not stop.

Khali gritted his teeth, he told everybody to retreat to the subterranean world for safety. He was going to fire all the nuclear bombs they had at him.

However Merlin was too close and they would also be within the blast radius, khaladrenium and the glass dome should be able to block out the radiation.

Radiation was not much of an issue in this world to begin with. He was about to press the launch button when Viona stood forward fuming.

" You stupid old perveted prick, I will shave your stupid beard with your own teeth, are you trying to kill us?"

The spell disappeared and Merlin stood there unmoving. " That vulgar language, that foul tongue. You truly are the little demon, you sound just like that young girl."

Viona took a deep breath, " Fine, yes it’s me, please stop throwing your spells around you old fossil."

Merlin descended from the sky and stood Infront of the glass dome, to be specific he was on the side, far away from the gate.

Viona told him where to go and the gate opened letting him in, Merlin looked at everything with amazement.

Khali sent Sebastian and a few other warriors to welcome him. Merlin completely ignored them.

He kept touching everything he saw, " What is this?" He asked while fiddling with a camera.

" It’s a camera sir?" Sebastian answered. Merlin blurred forward moving so fast even Khali failed to follow him.

" And this? What is is this?" He touched an electric lamp. It wasn’t lit up since it was still day time.

Sebastian answered all of his questions patiently but Merlin kept answering more and more of them.

" Sebastian, bring the old man here." Khali told him through the com. which Merlin heard.

Before Sebastian could react he was already Infront of him. He grabbed the com radio and looked at it like he was searching for something.

He cast a spell to check what it was but like the satellite he only saw common mortal material without an ounce of mana.

" How does this magic work boy?" He asked Sebastian who didn’t know how to answer. Khali answered him.

" It’s not magic." Merlin was caught by surprise and almost threw the radio away.

" Don’t lie to me child, there’s no way you can do that without magic, is there a little person in here?" 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞

Khali sighed, " If you’ll just follow Sebastian here, somebody could explain everything to you."

Merlin nodded and followed Sebastian inside. They led him to another sector of the dome.

There he found a room with chairs and a huge round table. He looked at the table strangely.

A round table was meant for equals, he wondered if these children thought themselves his equal.

However Merlin was not a pretentious man so he ignored that and sat down. Khali and the other came in behind him.

With them was Viona, the old man stood up and tried to hug her but she turned her head away and harrumphed.

Merlin grabbed his chest like it hurt.
