Cheng Yi's eyes widened; she stared at him. Blood pumped to her face and a deep crimson crept to her puffy cheeks, turning it to a burning tomato. She almost forgot to breathe, caught into his those soul-devouring eyes.

Right at that crucial moment, Li Luxian burst into laughter.

"W-What?" Chen Yi was puzzled. Her heart was still thumping into her ears.

"You-You should have looked at your face." He hardly managed to say between fits of laughter.

"M-My face?" She blinked. Slowly, everything sunk in.

Did he- Did he just tease her?

"Li Luxian!" Chen Yi's eyes were livid. "How dare you!" How could he play her like that?

Blinded with fury, she picked a nearby lamp and threw it at her husband who was too busy laughing. Li Luxian eyes widened as he stared at the incoming lamp. He bent backward to dodge it at the last minute. It flew past him by a distance of few inches and hit the wall behind him with a loud crash.

"Woman!" Li Luxian stared at his wife who had gone berserk.

"Do you take me for a joke?!" Chen Yi said picked up another lamp and threw it at him. Her temperature was not going down anytime soon. That was evident with her red face.

Li Luxian stepped to a side and hardly dodged it.

"Calm down!"

When the lamps ran out, she picked a pillow and threw it at him with all her might. This time Li Luxian dodged it effortlessly by just stepping to a side.

"Is this the best you can do?" Li Luxian challenged her with a laugh. His face was smug.

Chen Yi threw another pillow but Li Luxian again dodged it. He looked back to see it fruitlessly hitting the wall. He was getting smugger by the moment.

"Haha, wife, you are no match..." A pillow hit him square on his face before he could finish the sentence.

This time Chen Yi broke into loud cackles.

Li Luxian eyes darkened once the pillowed slipped down from his face.

"I was planning to go easy on you today considering it is our first night but if you really want it in a hard way..." Li Luxian picked up a pillow and punched it, fixing his eyes on Chen Yi. She shouldn't have provoked him like this.

"Hey, Li Luxian!" Chen Yi backed away from the scary looking vengeful Li Luxian. She chuckled lightly and in her innocent tune, she said: "You wouldn't be bad to your wife on your first night of marriage? Would you?"

"You've no idea how bad I'm going to be." Li Luxian declared and with that, he threw that pillow at her with a hundred times more force than her. It was like he was throwing a basketball. Chen Yi hardly dodged it. It hit the side table and knocked off all the things. They crashed on the floor with a loud noise.

Chen Yi's eyes widened. "This is too much. Li Luxian, stop!" She jumped away into the bed trying to get away from that crazy man.

Came another pillow that hit her square on her face and knocked her down with its force. She fall down on the bed on her back. Li Luxian took the opportunity to climb onto the bed but before he could capture her, she slipped away. She quickly picked up a pillow and threw it at him. Having him occupied with the innocent pillow, she tried to get away from the bed.

The pillow, however, couldn't occupy much of his time. Seconds later, he grabbed her ankle and pulled her down. Chen Yi shrieked being pulled down. She tried to grab another pillow to hit him as she fell down on the bed. But the pillow slipped away from her fingers.

"Li Luxian I'm sorry!" Chen Yi laughed and continued to struggle to get free from his hold.

"Too late for that wife" Li Luxian ceased her movements by pinning down her arms. With her under him, helpless and motionless, he smirked down at her.

The bedsheets were messed up during their fighting and rose petals covered both of them.

"Ow! My ankle hurts!" Suddenly Chen Yi cried in pain.

Li Luxian expression instantly changed from playful to worried. He quickly got off her.

"What happened?" Worry in his tune was clear. "Are you hurt?"

"I think I sprained my ankle."

"Where?" He inspected her feet.

Just as he lowered his guard a little, Chen Yi kicked him hard; throwing him off the bed. He landed down with a loud thump. She burst into laughters.

"Bad move wife." Li Luxian slowly got up.

"Indeed bad for you" Chen Yi continued to laugh.

"You are going to pay for that." He quickly chased her.

"We'll see." Chen Yi had already jumped out of bed and ran away.

Meanwhile in the neighboring room.

"I don't think it's a good idea." Li Quang just wanted to get away from the situation as soon as possible.

"I know why you are saying this." Li Yuan wasn't going to accept his defeat so soon.

"Come on it's not about the money. Between you've already lost it because your brother is now legally married. Did you not see that marriage certificate? Even your father validated it and confirmed that it was not fake."

"Shut up. I'm not going to give up easily. We had a bet only over a real marriage." Li Yuan placed his ear on the small hole. but he couldn't hear anything.

"Didn't you say yourself that your brother has found his soulmate?"

"We must not let go of any possibility." Li Yuan picked out a device from his pocket and placed it in the hole.

"Your sister-in-law won't be happy to know that you spied on her on her wedding night." Li Quang sighed, helplessly.

"You haven't even met her and you are already taking her side." Li Yuan put the headphone in his ear.

Li Quang gave up and leaned back against the wall. "What am I even doing here?" He complained to no one. "Just don't put all the blame on me once you get caught by your mother."

"Wait. I think I heard something." Li Yuan said putting a hand over his other ear to concentrate on the noise.

Crash! Crash! Crash!

What in the hell his brother and sister-in-law were doing?

"This is weird."

"What?"

"Here listen for yourself."

Li Quang put on the headphone. The second later, his face reddened.

"What the f**k Li Yuan? I'm so done with you!" Li Quang threw away the headphone like they were some virus. He wanted to choke Li Yuan with his own hands.

"What did you hear?" Li Yuan picked up the headphone from the floor and put them on.

"Ah... Li Luxian... Faster... Ah... Do it more...Yes...Touch me there..."

He gasped and quickly got away from the wall.

"Li Quang believe me! It was not what I heard the first time!"

"Keep all the money you want but don't make me listen to such things!"

"But it was really... wait can I keep the money?"

The door to the room burst open.

"What are you two doing here?" A grim voice shuddered their hearts.
