When Li Luxian entered the room, he saw Chen Yi sitting at the corner of the bed with a red face.

He had observed his mother just walking out. Being aware of his mother nature he knew that she must have said something to her. He shook his head. But Chen Yi needed to get used to his mother teasing. Because what she must have done would have been just the start; a warm-up.

"Your mother knew." Chen Yi quickly rose once she spotted him.

"Zhang Xin noticed and informed me that she had some people after us all the time. My mother can't just suppress her curious nature. I knew that she was not a danger to us so I let it be."

"Your grandfather? What did he say." Chen Yi sounded jittery.

Li Luxian smirked thinking back at all that happened. He took everyone off guard with his preparation.

"Of course, he would ask me to leave you. He wouldn't be my grandfather if he hadn't said that."

"What!" Chen Yi's eyes widened. "What did you say?"

Li Luxian laughed as he threw away a heart-shaped cushion from the couch and slumped down on it leisurely. Chen Yi would lie if she said she was not nervous. The atmosphere was very romantic and it was hard to ignore it.

But anyway, she tried her best to behave as if everything was normal.

"I told my grandfather about that business investment that required my being married." Li Luxian had previously explained all to Chen Yi about it. "They wouldn't just stop with this. Would they?" Suddenly, she said.

Li Luxian sighed.

"Unfortunately, they wouldn't." He rose and stepped closer to Chen Yi. He grabbed her hands and stared into her eyes with an unparalleled intensity. Li Luxian chuckled; he slowly walked to her.

She was clearing the bed to distract herself from his presence praying in her heart that he would let her be. But that, of course, was her wishful thinking.

Suddenly a pair of arms reached out from her behind and wrapped themselves around her waist. She gasped as Li Luxian pulled her back. He roughly pushed her against the wall. Chen Yi's heart jumped into a hyperactive immediately.

Looking at his dark eyes, Chen Yi knew he didn't have any plans to let her be tonight.

She immediately tried to escape. She had hardly moved a step when out of sudden Li Luxian slammed his hand on the wall blocking her escape. "You are not getting anywhere." His voice was deep. She quickly tried to escape from the other side but he slammed his other hand, completely entrapping her.

She leaned against the wall, getting as far as possible from him and stared at him. "What do you want?" Behind her was the wall. In front of her, was the devil.

"What do you think I want?" Li Luxian leaned closer to her. A playful smile hung on his lips.

"Li Luxian," Chen Yi whispered out his name. "Stop." Just one look from him was enough to make her breath caught in her throat.

He laughed lightly. Her nervous face was cute in his eyes.

"Are you not going to give me my wedding night, wife?"
