King's Rule: Creating the Strongest Kingdom With My Broken Talent-Chapter 39: Yeolodan vs Commander Muran
Vesh raised his eyebrows in surprise as he looked at the commander through a screen next to him.
"So you were not the strongest." Vesh turned to King Aurora, who was looking at the interior systems and structures of the tower with amazement and curiosity.
"Hmm?" Snapping back to Vesh upon hearing his words, King Aurora laughed. "Well, I never said I was the strongest in my kingdom. Commander Muran is stronger."
Vesh nodded. "It appears so."
Previously, when he checked their combat powers, King Aurora had 23 million, and it jumped to 29 million as he unleashed his full power.
Commander Muran, on the other hand, jumped to 32 million combat power!
In the sky, Yeolodan and Muran were in close combat that looked akin to an ant vs. an elephant due to the difference in size.
But the power packed in the ant appeared higher than the elephant, as each time their fists and legs clashed, Yeolodan was the one getting pushed back.
Naturally, the qualitative difference couldn’t be ignored. One was a Stem-rank powerhouse, and the other was Root-rank. Usually, the difference between them was like heaven and earth, but this gap was bridged thanks to the armor.
[Arga: It looks like Dan met his match.]
[Rovina: Dan still has a technique he used against Lord Vesh at the end that can make him stronger. Unless that white-bearded old man can become even stronger, Dan has over a 50% chance of winning, I suppose.]
[Kayan: The others are Stem-rank powerhouses as well. With my current combat abilities, I can’t picture defeating any of them.]
[Viana: I still haven’t mastered my Prime Construct talent. It’s only at 13-star potential out of 50. And my combat power is the lowest among us.]
[Arga: Let’s just believe in Lord Vesh. Even if we lose, it doesn’t matter since it’d be a tie.]
"Bwahahaha, you are strong!" Yeolodan laughed loudly as he cracked and stretched his six arms.
Commander Muran, in his exotic exoskeleton armor, a product of his SS-rank Talent—Chimera Exoskeleton, pulsed with power.
Smashing his gauntlets together with a sophisticated flow of blue energy from his S-rank Water Mastery streaming calmly around him, he spoke. "If you have nothing more to show, I am going to end this."
Up until now, he hadn’t used any of his techniques derived from his S-rank Water talent.
Yeolodan grinned.
He looked at the remaining A-rank R.M.E—21%.
’Alright.’
"Let’s do this." Yeolodan’s tattoos suddenly glowed fiercely as he started shrinking rapidly.
Commander Muran’s eyes glinted.
In just a couple of seconds, Yeolodan was back to being three meters tall.
But that didn’t mean he became weaker.
Instead, he became stronger!
The mass of that 118-meter-tall giant was now condensed into this 3-meter-tall frame.
Heartblaze Tattoos’ stage 2 activation—Condensed Frame!
The flames around Yeolodan no longer surged wildly. They compressed inward, hugging his body like a second skin. The blazing aura that once spread across hundreds of meters now pulsed tightly within a three-meter frame.
Every inch of him radiated contained destruction.
"Condensing all that mass..." Commander Muran muttered. "Interesting."
Yeolodan rolled his shoulders.
The space around him warped faintly.
Then he vanished.
BOOM!
The air detonated where he stood.
Muran reacted instantly.
His arm moved, gauntlet flashing with flowing blue energy.
CLANG!
A shockwave erupted as Yeolodan’s fist collided with Muran’s guard.
The difference was immediate.
Before, Yeolodan had been pushed back.
This time, Muran felt an overpowering, pinpoint impact.
Imagine the power of a 100-meter rock condensed into a pebble. The result?
Explosive strength with force packed into a smaller frame.
Faster movement, higher penetration.
Higher impact pressure due to a force concentrated in a tiny area.
Muran’s expression visibly turned red as he had to exert the entirety of his physical power, as well as concentrate defense on the small area that Dan hit.
And yet—
BOOOOM!
He was shot back several hundred meters at once before he forced himself to an abrupt stop.
The following shockwaves destroyed a chunk of the large colosseum as its debris flew away wildly.
Current combat power of Yeolodan:
37,499,300.
Higher and more condensed.
Yeolodan grinned, eyes blazing.
"Feels good, doesn’t it?"
He didn’t give Muran time to respond.
A barrage followed.
Six arms moved like a storm.
Fists, elbows, chops, overlapping angles, each strike carrying condensed force that tore through the air before even landing.
Muran’s body blurred.
His movements were precise.
Minimal.
Efficient.
Each block redirected just enough force.
Each step shifted just enough distance.
Yet—
CRACK!
Even a perfect defense couldn’t fully erase that level of impact.
"Enough testing." Muran’s voice turned cold.
The blue energy around him shifted.
It stopped flowing like water.
It sharpened.
Condensed.
His exoskeleton pulsed.
Then expanded.
From his right arm, something began forming.
Not growing.
Forging.
A massive blade.
It extended outward, layer by layer, as if bones and steel were being born together. Curved edges, serrated ridges, dense and heavy, yet impossibly refined.
The blade alone was over ten meters long.
It hummed.
Not with sound.
With pressure.
Even Yeolodan’s grin faltered for a split second.
’That can cut me.’
Armor battery: 11%.
’Once the battery drops below 5%, the defense of the armor will drop to B-rank.’
Yeolodan’s eyes sharpened with infernal delight and a hint of madness.
"Come on."
Muran stepped forward.
And disappeared.
The massive blade didn’t swing wildly.
It appeared.
A clean, absolute arc.
Too fast.
Even in his Condensed Frame, Yeolodan barely reacted.
CHHAA!
Three right arms were severed instantly.
A leg in the same motion.
Blood erupted in a violent spray as Yeolodan’s body twisted mid-air, the force of the strike sending him crashing downward like a meteor.
BOOOOM!
The colosseum floor shattered on impact, cracks spreading like a spiderweb as debris blasted outward.
For a fraction of a second, silence fell around them. Time froze.
Then, Muran’s eyes widened.
Because the moment his blade passed through—
Yeolodan had moved.
His remaining left arm ignited.
Not with wild flames, but with a focused, razor-thin inferno.
A single motion.
No wasted energy.
No hesitation.
A downward blazing chop containing the remaining of the suit’s A-rank R.M.E.
CHHHT!
The strike passed cleanly.
Muran’s body froze mid-step.
The massive blade in his arm trembled.
Then—
His left leg and left arm were separated.
The battlefield stilled.
Both stood there.
Broken.
Bleeding.
Yet upright.
Yeolodan’s flames flickered violently as his body struggled to stabilize, three arms gone, one leg missing, yet his grin slowly stretched wider.
Muran’s breathing grew heavier, his exoskeleton dimming slightly as the energy flow destabilized from the loss of balance.
For a moment, neither moved.
Then Yeolodan laughed.
Loud. 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶
Unrestrained.
"HAHAHAHA! Now that’s what I’m talking about!"
Muran exhaled slowly.
His grip loosened.
The massive blade dissolved back into his arm in streams of metallic energy.
"...You’re insane."
Yeolodan cracked his neck, flames dancing.
"You were tough, so I had to be."
Prince Hugo, Duke, Scarlet, and Mirina looked at each other, visibly dumbfounded.
The strongest of their Kingdom was taken out by a Root-rank powerhouse.
The rest of the people behind them burst into uproar.
"W-what the hell?"
"This is insane."
"Commander, our Invincible Wargod, whose exoskeleton is tougher than any armor...lost? I am not dreaming, right?"
"No, brother."
"This Kingdom’s tech seems dangerous if they can make those suits."
Meanwhile, the people of city below cheered with awe and shock.
