Gao Xuan was somewhat surprised when he heard Yuan Ping's words. There were still two sixth-grade Evil Gods stationed at the Holy Hall, which showed how incompetent the Holy Hall was.

"Moreover, there are some low-grade Evil Gods like the White Rat and Iron Monkey, but these Evil Gods are low-level, they just run around chaotically and their whereabouts are uncertain. They are difficult to hunt." 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝙬𝙚𝓫𝒏𝓸𝓿𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝙤𝓶

Yuan Ping solemnly reminded Gao Xuan, "Within a thousand kilometers of Giant Kun City, the Divine Emperor can see us. These Evil Gods don't pose much of a threat. You and Little Yuan must not leave the safe zone. Especially, don't get close to the sea; there are extremely dangerous Evil Gods hidden deep in the sea, which we call the Deep Sea..."

In order to eradicate the Evil God Deep Sea hidden in the depths of the ocean, the Yuan Family put in a lot of effort. As a result, every time there was a heavy loss of soldiers and severe casualties.

Yuan Ping had once participated in a battle, but her cultivation was not up to par at the time, so she was only involved in logistical support.

That disastrous defeat left a deep impression on her because a Golden Core powerhouse from the Yuan Family fell in that battle, greatly weakening the family's strength.

Fortunately, those powerful Evil Gods cannot leave the sea, so as long as you don't actively seek them out, you're unlikely to encounter them.

Due to successive failures, the Yuan Family also lost control of Red Light Star.

Yuan Ping briefly recounted the fierce battle to Gao Xuan. Even after more than a hundred years, she still had lingering fears when she spoke of it.

Gao Xuan was also a bit taken aback. A Golden Core Level powerhouse had fallen here; was this place really so dangerous?

Earlier, when he had illuminated Red Light Star with his Divine Soul, he did not find such powerful Evil Gods.

Yuan Ping's words also reminded Gao Xuan that he had few trump cards now and couldn't underestimate the Evil Gods.

It was a pity; if only he had the Godslaying Sword, slaying these tangible Evil Gods would be much easier.

Gao Xuan felt a bit nostalgic for his Divine Artifacts. If he could reclaim the Hongyi Sword, the little Red Light Star wouldn't be difficult for him to traverse freely.

However, from today's perspective, the Hongyi Sword seemed overly simplistic...

Seeing Gao Xuan in thought, Yuan Ping quietly turned and left.

An hour later, Gao Xuan, Yuan Youyuan, Yuan Ping, and their escort crew boarded a small spaceship to Red Light Star, eventually landing at an airport near the Holy Hall.

The atmosphere of Red Light Star was complex and reflected red light. Looking at the sky from Red Light Star, it was all a dark red.

In the vast Giant Kun City, the buildings of the Holy Hall were the only ones that looked orderly and grand. Other skyscrapers appeared particularly shabby, with many buildings collapsed and shattered.

Even the flashing neon signs all exuded a sense of eerie desolation. Mainly, the place radiated an aura of chaos and disorder, with almost no sign of life on the streets, making the entire place feel like a ghost town.

The square, majestic Holy Hall stood towering, its dome emitting a glow of white light that enveloped a large area.

This white light was like the stars in a night sky; though not bright, it provided reassurance and helped people orient themselves in the cosmos.

The Barracuda spaceship pierced through the white light, landing silently in the designated airport of the Holy Hall.

Gao Xuan followed Yuan Ping off the spaceship to see a group of people dressed in the Holy Hall's standard white robes approaching.

The leader was tall and stern-faced, wearing a flowing and immaculate Holy Hall robe, yet emanating a murderous aura, more like a soldier.

Yuan Youyuan whispered to Gao Xuan, "Yuan Tiejiang, from a side branch, a Foundation Establishment expert. He's now a squad leader of the Execution Team. This person has a bad temper."

Yuan Tiejiang didn't hear Yuan Youyuan but sensed her talking about him, casting a deep look at her, one filled with a sense of condescension.

Gao Xuan was familiar with such looks; experienced military personnel often took this stance toward rookies.

Clearly, in Yuan Tiejiang's eyes, Yuan Youyuan seemed naive, even somewhat foolish. He evidently didn't like her.

However, Yuan Tiejiang treated Gao Xuan more amiably, at least without the obvious disdain in his eyes.

After surveying the crowd, he spoke to Yuan Ping, "Deputy Commander, let's talk inside."

With that, Yuan Tiejiang turned and left, and Yuan Ping didn't mind. She said softly to the others, "Follow along."

After a pause, she added, "Red Light Star is fraught with danger. Stay alert while you're here, particularly listen to Captain Yuan Tiejiang."

She specifically glanced at Yuan Youyuan, her main concern being her throwing a tantrum.

"Aunt, I'm a particularly obedient child."

Though Yuan Youyuan was disgruntled by Yuan Tiejiang's attitude, she recognized the gravity of the situation, understanding this wasn't the place for her to act out.

The group followed Yuan Tiejiang into the Holy Hall, eventually reaching his office.

Walking through the Holy Hall, everyone noticed how outdated it appeared inside, with some areas even home to cobwebs and dust. Moreover, the interior carried an ever-present heavy, gloomy feel.

It was akin to a damp, rainy monsoon season, where the rooms had a perpetual musty smell and lacked ventilation.

Normally, the Holy Hall would be cleansed continually of all grime and gloom by the Divine Emperor's Divine Light, ruling out the possibility of such a gloomy ambiance.

Additionally, the Holy Hall was usually thoroughly cleaned, bright and spotless, with not a speck of dust in sight.

Giant Kun City's Holy Hall seemed as though it hadn't been cleaned for decades.

Upon entering the Holy Hall and sensing its gloomy atmosphere, even Yuan Youyuan couldn't help but feel disturbed. She told Gao Xuan, "It's so creepy, like a haunted setting from a horror movie..."

Gao Xuan responded, "There are many Evil Gods on Red Light Star; you'll get used to it."

"In this dump, I just want to go home now."

It was Yuan Youyuan's first time in such a rundown place; she was filled with distaste.

"Don't be silly. We're here to kill Evil Gods, not for a vacation."

Gao Xuan encouraged, "Embrace the spirit of enduring hardship and fighting hard. We'll take down all the Evil Gods..."

"Alright, I'll give you face then."

Despite her words, Yuan Youyuan couldn't suppress a sigh.

Yuan Tiejiang's office was also quite shabby, with the paint on the wooden chairs all peeling and cracked, revealing the natural wood underneath.

The same could be said for the desk, covered in scores and scratches, like something salvaged from a junk pile.

Yuan Tiejiang courteously invited Yuan Ping to sit, ignoring the others entirely.

"Deputy Commander, I apologize. A few years back, the Three-headed Insect attacked the Divine Shield Company, causing massive casualties. The company withdrew its branch, leading to a lack of maintenance for automatic machinery, and now the Holy Hall can't even find enough staff for cleaning..."

After a brief explanation, Yuan Tiejiang continued, "Honestly, your timing isn't great. News received just yesterday indicates that the subterranean space passage is fluctuating violently, as if new Evil Gods are arriving.

The entire Giant Kun City is being disturbed by this strong Evil God aura, with various Evil Gods popping up, making the situation very dire."

His eyes then turned to Yuan Youyuan, "Let me give you some good advice: turn back home now."

Saying this, he glanced at Gao Xuan as well, "That includes you too. This is not a playground; it's the Evil God's Paradise, a battleground for slaughter..."
