Killed Me? Now I Have Your Power-Chapter 77: Iron Sovereignty
Chapter 77: Chapter 77: Iron Sovereignty
Chapter 77 – Iron Sovereignty
Kaden had chosen Will to be the first stat to surpass the limit for a reason. It was the stat he needed the most right now, because soon, he would be heading to a dungeon he knew absolutely nothing about in order to obtain an evolution stone.
He knew that with enough Will, even if his strength was lacking, he could die as many times as needed and come back stronger, without resenting the negative effects of his multiple deaths.
So for him, the choice wasn’t even a question.
And the moment he chose to put all 150 stat points into Will, Kaden immediately collapsed onto the floor, his body convulsing, his hands clenching his head with such terrifying force that it looked like he was trying to crush his own skull. And truly,
It wasn’t far from that.
The pain he was feeling was immeasurable. It was like a vengeful god had taken a warhammer and pounded his head again and again, each strike vibrating through his brain like thunder laced with lightning—his ears, his eyes, his mouth, all began to bleed, violently and without pause.
Reditha appeared instantly, her sword form flickering with panic as she erratically circled around Kaden’s fallen body, her aura screaming worry and panic but all she could feel back from him was pain.
Deep. Raw. Unfiltered pain.
The moment she fully sensed it, her body flinched she nearly fled, trembling from the sheer weight of what Kaden was going through. But she stopped herself the moment her ’gaze’ landed back on him.
Kaden was still holding on, barely, but it was only because of his Will stat that he hadn’t already passed out. So when, amid the chaos, he felt the pain slightly lessen, he forced his swollen eyes open and saw Reditha right there, trembling so violently she was beginning to crack.
Because she was his origin, she was linked to his pain and now she was starting to share the burden.
But Kaden didn’t want that.
He slowly reached for her, pulled her into his arms, and while clenching his jaw so hard his teeth felt like they might snap, he severed the connection between them, forcing all the pain back onto himself and himself alone.
He groaned, he writhed, he cried, he cursed—but all of it, he endured with Reditha trembling silently in his arms, unable to do anything but watch.
This agony continued for two hours.
Two hours of pure torment. Two hours where Kaden flirted with unconsciousness again and again, but never gave in.
And when it was over, he lay there, motionless, broken, drenched in dark, foul, smelly blood. Even his face was soaked in it.
It was impure blood—blood that had been expelled from his brain, his nerves, his veins—every corrupted or unworthy part inside him purged by the force of the evolution.
DING!
[Will: 201.]
Only one point. Just one. It looked so small.
So meaningless.
But...
DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!
A deep, almost holy chime exploded in his mind, disorienting him completely he forced his heavy eyes open, and in front of him appeared a panel, massive and bold, its red letters dripping as if made of fresh blood.
An illusion. But a terrifyingly real one.
The Will.
{Kaden Warborn, you are the first person in all of Fokay to surpass the limit imposed by your natural birth order.}
{What a magnificent achievement.}
{You have received a Title: LimitBreaker}
{You have awakened a Unique Extreme Skill: Iron Sovereignty}
{Congratulations, Child of Blood.}
And then came Death.
[Iron Sovereignty]
[Description: No matter the fear, no matter the pain, no matter the obstacles—you will not falter. You will walk, you will crawl if necessary. But you will move forward.]
[Skills:]
Unyielding Bastion (Passive): 80% pain resistance. Immunity to fear and mental debuffs up to Master rank.
Drive Undying (Passive): Your focus cannot be broken. Your stamina consumption is halved.
Will Crush (Active): Force your Will into enemies. If theirs is weaker than yours, they will suffer disorientation, paralysis, or unconsciousness, depending on the difference.
Kaden lay still, breathing raggedly, staring blankly for a moment before muttering—
"Fucking hell..."
He cursed not just because of the overwhelming power he had obtained, not just because of the Title and the Extreme Skill—but because of the brutal, soul-shattering pain that came with it.
He had already forgotten parts of it.
But he still wanted to curse.
Suddenly, Reditha began trembling in his arms again—this time violently, her body glowing red, her emotions erupting into a wave of furious heat.
Kaden smiled wryly.
"I’m sorry. I’m sorry. I just didn’t want you to suffer through it," he said, genuinely apologetic—but the words seemed to only make it worse.
Reditha flashed with intense crimson light, her rage not going down even a little.
It was only after several minutes that she finally calmed, once Kaden promised to hunt a special beast for her to absorb its blood—a small offering, but one she accepted.
Now, after a long bath, Kaden sat at the edge of his bed.
And slowly, a proud smile formed on his lips.
Because he remembered what The Will had said.
He was the first.
The first in all of Fokay to break the natural limit.
The first to obtain the LimitBreaker title.
The first to awaken a Unique Extreme Skill.
And honestly... he wasn’t even surprised.
Because who in their right mind would train one stat for decades, just to push it past 200 at the Awakened rank?
No one.
And that’s exactly why he had succeeded.
He had the system. He had the tools. And he had the guts to use them.
And more than that—it showed him something else.
That every stat, once pushed past its limit... would reward him with a unique ability.
Meaning—Strength, Agility, Mana, Perception, and all the rest were just waiting to be broken.
At that thought, Kaden could barely contain himself.
He still had 35 stat points left.
He needed more.
Without wasting a second, he pulled out his runic communicator and typed:
I am ready with his Location attached.
A few minutes later, he sensed a presence.
He raised his head and saw Boris, standing there like a shadow stepping out of thin air.
Kaden didn’t react at this.
"Do you have everything I need to go there?" he asked immediately.
Boris didn’t speak right away—he just looked at Kaden. Something about him felt different. His presence, his eyes, his aura—something had shifted.
Looking into his young master’s blood-red eyes, Boris felt the faintest discomfort. Something primal.
He shook it off, reached into his space ring, and pulled out a runic ball, offering it respectfully.
"Crush this. It will transport you directly there. The dungeon gate will be just in front of you," Boris said calmly.
Kaden took the ball, inspecting it.
"You’re not coming with me?" he asked.
"I have to return to Darklore, young master. The young lady needs me," Boris said, bowing slightly as if in apology.
His words made Kaden narrow his eyes.
"Something wrong?" he asked, tone colder.
"No. Probably just errands," Boris replied smoothly. His young lady had made it clear—don’t say a thing to Kaden.
Kaden simply nodded.
Then without a moment of hesitation, he crushed the ball.
"If it’s a trap, I’ll come back and kill you. And lastly..."
He smiled.
A beautiful, lethal smile.
"Say hi to my sister."
And then, he vanished.
Leaving behind a smiling Boris.
"I’ll make sure to deliver the message..." he said softly before disappearing as well.
...
Thud.
"Fuck!" Kaden groaned as he landed on his ass.
He really had a problem with teleportation.
Groaning again, he pushed himself to his feet and just in front of him, like Boris had said, was a swirling portal of black and red.
It pulsed with ominous energy.
And somehow, without knowing why, it made him think of Nocthar.
’I hope I never meet that guy again... if he’s even alive,’ Kaden thought, then forced the memory out of his head.
He closed his eyes. Inhaled. Exhaled. Then opened them again.
He glanced around. All he saw were strange constructs—jagged stones, ancient and crooked, arranged like—
’Graves?’
He frowned. But shook the thought away again.
Now wasn’t the time.
Without hesitation,
Kaden stepped forward
And entered the dungeon.
