Chu Chuyan had already been nervous because of those transparent glass windows, and the abrupt appearance of a hologram caused her body to tense up further. She was a conservative person, and she'd only agreed to this because they had been separated for too long.

Isabella stared at the scene in shock. Naturally, she had set alerts and notifications in the spaceship she'd given to Zu An, so she was alerted when the spaceship began navigating toward the Contract Galaxy. She was so excited that she'd immediately contacted him to chat.

Who knew she would witness such a sight as soon as the call connected?

That big sister is gorgeous! Is she big brother Zu’s wife, who has been sealed under the Oblivion Bridge? But her current appearance looks nothing like the frosty mountain immortal that big brother Zu described her to be.

“Oof, the signal is really bad.” Isabella looked around Zu An’s environment, fearing that she would see something she wasn't supposed to.

Zu An burst into laughter. Her acting skill is horrendous. She needs to take some lessons from Firework. But there was no reason to expose her here. He cleared the air with a cough and said, “Isabella, I didn’t think we would meet again so soon.”

“I also thought it would be a long time before we met again.” Isabella breathed a sigh of relief when Zu An skipped over what happened earlier. That’s weird. I’m not the one fooling around, so why am I feeling so jumpy?

“Did anything huge happen in the Universal Conglomerate recently?” Zu An asked vaguely. He couldn’t casually reveal the intelligence he had received from a universal deity.

“Hm?” Isabella was stunned. She racked her mind, and her expression grew unnatural. “There is indeed something huge. Big brother Zu, I’ll tell you about it when you arrive.”

Zu An nodded. Some secrets were too confidential to be revealed via a remote call. Who knew if someone else was eavesdropping on their conversation?

“Can you share the internal structure of the Universal Conglomerate with me? I tried asking Aphrodite, but she said that she doesn’t have the clearance to reveal confidential information.” Zu An believed in gathering information about where he was going to head to beforehand, or else a dangerous situation could easily become a hopeless one.

“What is the current situation surrounding the members of the Round Table Council?”

“The Round Table Council comprises seven people. First Elder Oberon is a stern figure known as the Hand of Order. He is a devout worshiper of the Deity of Order, and he believes that order is the foundation of all civilizations. He is a conservative and obstinate old man. I have been a bit afraid of him since I was a child.” Isabella stuck out her tongue as if recalling being lectured by him.

“Second Elder Hermes is a strong-willed, resilient, and proud man. He manages our Conglomerate’s commercial operations. He views anyone who undermines our commercial activities as an enemy.”

Zu An chuckled. “The Universal Conglomerate does need someone like that.”

“Big brother Zu, you need to be careful around him. The Second Elder is a devoted man. There’s nothing he hates more than people who aren’t devoted to their partner. You mustn’t provoke him,” Isabella warned.

Zu An was stunned. She must have been shaken up by the earlier sight...

Isabella continued, “Second Elder Hermes is very handsome, and he commands an incredible disposition despite his old age. Countless women have professed their adoration for him, but he remains unmarried to date.
