Zu An bade farewell to the mother and daughter before teleporting to the Chaos and Enigma Divine Palace. Looking at the grand structure, he could see why the appearance of the universal deities had sent the entire world into a frenzy.

No human could have created such a grand structure. It had to be a divine vestige.

As he approached the Divine Palace, someone quickly stepped forward to stop him. “Only the most devout worshipers of Chaos and Enigma can enter.”

Not everyone in the world recognized Zu An.

The palace had a high ceiling. Two rows of enormous statues holding massive horns lined the paths. Upon sensing a guest, the statues blew a deep melody.

Zu An sensed interweaving laws in the palace. This appeared to be how the Divine Palaces tested if the guest was their worshiper, though just being a worshiper was insufficient. One had to be of sufficient aptitude before the Divine Palace would take one in.

An ordinary mortal would only feel an urge to grovel on the ground and worship whatever was inside the Divine Palace.

There were lofty figures in the Divine Palace who appeared to have assumed the role of cardinals. Upon seeing an intruder, they were about to shout at Zu An when they sensed the pure divine power flowing from him. They immediately lowered their heads while whispering among themselves to figure out his identity.

Zu An couldn’t be bothered with them. He walked straight up to the centermost divine idol. That was the highest area of the Divine Palace. Murals were inscribed on the walls and the ceiling, looking both chaotic yet enigmatic.

Zu An stared at the idol in astonishment. This was his first time seeing Mi Li’s appearance.

Her outline appeared to be feminine, but her facial features were obscured. Universal deities wouldn’t allow others to casually look at their faces. Ordinary beings couldn’t bear the karma of witnessing a universal deity’s appearance either.

“O great Deity of Chaos and Enigma, your envoy expresses his most sincere respect to you...” Zu An prayed in hopes of summoning the Deity of Chaos and Enigma, but to his surprise, he received no response, no matter how he called out to her.
