Kaijin Fighter: So I Have to Make Monsters, So What?-Chapter 1526: Guiding Words

Ever since Zhen Liu became the Kaijin Lord, more and more voices had started popping into his head.

The main ones were the kaijin like Nepherage and Corpse Doll, who were his main fighting force and were all loyal subordinates to a fault.

After that were Logos and Pathos, who were the curators of the library and his main source of knowledge for basically everything.

However, there was another voice, a voice that had always been there since the beginning and one that Zhen Liu could not rightly find the source of no matter how he tried. And that voice was none other than the one that had just announced to him that he had consolidated a brand new core.

'Why have I never thought about it before?' Zhen Liu asked himself before realizing the answer for himself. 'Because I just thought it was Logos or Pathos acting like the voice in my head.'

Whenever Zhen Liu consolidated [Cores] nowadays, they had always been announced by Logos, Pathos, or both. They sometimes added their own level of commentary, and they were rather…distinct with their preferred style.

Pathos focused more on the personality of the kaijin that would be born from a particular [Core], while Logos focused more on the stats and capabilities of the kaijin born. Zhen Liu had the feeling that this commentary was on purpose, influencing him on how the final kaijin he created would look, but he wasn't entirely sure.

Hell, he hadn't made a kaijin without any outside input in a while, but that was something he could remedy later.

'Hell, I could just use this new core I just made too.'

The [Relentless Core of the Blacksmith's Pursuit of Perfection] was the wordiest core he had ever created up until this point, and he had no idea if that was a good thing or a bad thing. Granted, it probably didn't help that unlike every other [Core] he had handled up until now, this one had a shape other than being purely spherical. Wreathed in flame, Zhen Liu could make out a tiny floating anvil.

'That's…probably important…especially since it appears to be living up its name…damn, I have been getting a lot of fire-related stuff lately.'

He had read, once or twice in some books from his old life, that names held power and that the more someone or something spoke a name, the more powerful that named subject became. Alternatively, it could also be used to summon…wait a minute…

'Could I just name the voice in my head and force it to come out like the kaijin and the curators?' Zhen Liu pondered.

'...Jeremy.'

'...'

'Nope, never mind.'

Despite his karmic void making it seem real easy for him to stumble upon profitable or life-changing situations one after the other, Zhen Liu still hadn't figured out a way to properly manipulate it to his advantage. As far as he could tell, it was just…random.

Instinctually feeling that he wouldn't be getting any answers anytime soon, or in this instance at least, Zhen Liu dismissed the newly minted core into the library's storage so that he could figure out why he managed to extract this particular core from Axer in the first place. Thankfully, he wouldn't have to dig too deeply or ask too many probing questions.

"Alright, so why is everyone currently staring at—"

WHAM!

^I have figured it out!^ Axer declared after slamming an open book on the table in front of him. This little performative action of his ended up knocking over the book towers that were right next to him, but surprisingly enough, they didn't fall over. Instead, the power of the library kicked in, and the books that were about to fall over simply began to float away back into their respective shelves. ^Master Lythero, it is possible for us to combine the shattered remnants of your masters' swords while simultaneously bring them back.^

"Beg pardon?"

^Yes!^

Lythero leaped out of his seat with a level of joy on his face that Zhen Liu hadn't seen since the first time he managed to retrieve the legacy of his masters. Evidently, their destruction must've weighed more on Lythero's mind than Zhen Liu had anticipated.

That stated, Zhen Liu found it a little hard to believe that Axer had managed to figure this all out in the time it took Zhen Liu to go get examined and come back. Which is why he decided to slightly dampen their mood.

^Uh, Axer,^ Zhen Liu called out in his most soothing voice and in perfect Scorch Talk, which also served as a means of grabbing the attention of everyone else in the room. ^It's not that I don't believe you, but y'all have only been in here for about…two hours. How the fuck did you figured out a method to combine the fragments of seven different Gold-tier aether treasures?^

At this question, Axer gave the biggest grin in response before pulling up a book that Zhen Liu had only seen once before, when he had to pretend to be a woman in order to at least touch the damn thing.

Apparently, Logos and Pathos had already finished copying and printing the entirety of the Rainbowsmith's manual and had placed it into the shelves of the library for all to use and peruse. Needless to say, Zhen Liu couldn't help but subtly bite his lip in frustration.

'Damn karmic void,' Zhen Liu mentally cursed. 'Is it getting worse now that I'm aware of it?'

Ignoring Zhen Liu's actions, though, Axer proceeded to spill his metaphorical guts out in explaining the many revelations he received from reading the works of a previous Kaijin Lord.

^I had to reference several other books, since this was more like a personal journal than an actual manual, but it had proven incredibly enlightening,^ Axer explained. ^Now I can't help but feel that some of the works that me and my master made previously were simply junk in comparison!^

^Harsh, but I get it,^ Zhen Liu concurred. ^But would you mind explaining that whole combining but from before?^

^Right,^ Axer nodded as he got his brain to get back on track. ^The good news is that you already gathered all the materials necessary to do it. Hell, the facilities here are even better. At least, from what I saw before I was shown the books.^

To better illustrate what the fuck he was walking about, Axer produced a highly detailed blueprint of what he labeled as the [Sword of the Seven Sinners].

From what Zhen Liu could see, that while the main components of the blade were the fragments sourced from Lythero's masters' swords, it also incorporated amounts of Malevolent Gold and something called Entropic Iron.

'Wait...didn't Alicia and the others recently acquire a chunk of that stuff from the auction houses?' Zhen Liu recalled. Material components aside though, Zhen Liu couldn't help but to notice that there was a set of questions marks in a small corner of the plans.

'Uh oh...'

Zhen Liu knew better than most that [???] was basically a multiversal sign for something rare, dangerous, or both.

^That stated,I don't know if y'all have the necessary firepower to do what I got planned.^

^Of course.^

^Wait, seriously?^ Olstenna piped up, mildly offended about the suggestion. ^You have me, an Aetherii with two powerful natural aether flames, those two young bucks over there are wielding 7th tiered aether beast flames, and as much as I loathe to admit it, but the guy who owns this library has access to some of the absurd aether flames I have ever sensed. How the fuck is that not enough firepower?^

Surprisingly, Axer did now cow in the face of the huge Aetherii warrior, who was literally wreathed in flames.

^Simple, all y'all can't match the nutring power of the Mother Sun Flame.^

^Oh.^

"The what?"

Before answering the question, Axer grabbed yet another book from the pile he had yet to knock over and flipped it to the page showing a mural depicting a motherly figure surrounded by a halo of flames.

Judging from the pictures of people, plants and animals all kneeling before the figure with faces of joy and worship, they must've been very well loved.

^The Mother Sun Flame is said to be an aether flame that carries the ultimate power of restoration,^ Axer explained. ^It can restore any damage, burn away any illness and is rivalled only by the Water of Life and the Leaf of Yggdrasil. Hell, it's even been said that combining those three could create an elixir that can turn even the weakest Aether Novice in existence into a bonafide Aether Saint in a single gulp, or perform true resurrection on even an Aether Deity.^

"Huh...okay..." Zhen Liu nodded, keeping that bit of information in mind. "I feel like there's a catch to all this."

^Oh, only a minor one.^

"Which is..."

^Its under the stewardship of the Erupting Dawn Emperor!^ 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂

"Of course..."

^Or the Sacred Flame Theocracy. I'm not sure which.^

Of course
