And so, the two extraordinary venomous snakes were locked in a distant standoff. The wind blew, swirling up a sky full of leaves, and the temperature between heaven and earth quietly dropped.

One snake was a brilliant, lustrous silver-white, seemingly emitting its own light. The other had fiery red stripes all over its body, as if wreathed in flames. They were both so striking that even if they were mixed in with thousands of other venomous snakes, you could spot them in a single glance.

A person's appearance is important, but a snake's looks should not be underestimated. The more beautiful the snake, the nobler its bloodline.

The Vampire Snake reared its head, its Snake Pupils glowing with a fierce and commanding light. It was Spiritual and Fierce, and its uniquely sinister, cold aura couldn't help but inspire terror.

The snake Tu Xiao'an was not to be outdone. He activated his dominance ability, unleashing a kingly aura that would force any lower-Level venomous snake to submit as his subject.

The two powerful serpentine auras surged, kicking up violent gusts of wind that swept through the forest.

'Strange… This Vampire Snake's aura feels a bit stronger than before.'

Tu Xiao'an discreetly used Conscious Insight on it, and the result came back: Level 12.

'Ugh… The Vampire Snake got stronger again.'

In just the two days since he'd last seen it, it had already broken through from Level 11 to Level 12. These Evil Snakes constantly fed on the blood of various animals, causing their power to skyrocket.

Its Level was increasing even faster than Tu Xiao'an's.

'When it comes to Level, I'm getting left in the dust,' Tu Xiao'an thought. He was only a mere Level 8.

However, Level didn't decide everything. He had come to find the Vampire Snake this time, so of course he was brimming with confidence.

Suddenly, a light flashed in the Vampire Snake's Snake Gaze. It coiled and then lunged, shooting toward the opposing Silver White Snake like a soaring Dragon.

The airborne Vampire Snake opened its vicious maw, revealing two pairs of long, sharp fangs that gleamed with a cold light. A single bite from fangs like those would be enough to take a human life.

'You beast. This is our second time clashing. I won't fail again.'

Tu Xiao'an watched with a calm and detached gaze as the Vampire Snake shot toward him. His Snake Pupils were like two placid lakes—indifferent, cold, and clear to the extreme.

'Electric Bee King!'

WHOOSH!

A large Wasp clad in Golden Battle Armor materialized out of thin air above the Silver White Snake. Majestic and imposing, it was as large as a man's fist.

'Blast it!'

In the blink of an eye, a white light flashed and thunder cracked. A slender bolt of Thunder shot forth from the Electric Bee King, striking the airborne Vampire Snake with incredible accuracy.

BOOM...

It was an incredibly satisfying sight. The Vampire Snake had no time to react and was blasted to the ground by the bolt of Thunder, which formed a small crater upon impact.

The ferocious Vampire Snake was momentarily stunned, completely bewildered by the sudden bolt of Thunder. A current of electricity coursed over its fiery red stripes.

The Electric Bee King vanished from above the Silver White Snake's head and reappeared an instant later above the Vampire Snake. Without hesitation, another slender bolt of Thunder struck down, landing squarely on the Vampire Snake as expected.

HIIISSS!

The Vampire Snake let out a sharp, piercing cry. The sound was utterly demonic, scaring the birds in the forest into a panicked flight.

'Hmph. A lot can change in just a few days.'

Although Tu Xiao'an was no longer facing the Vampire Snake as a Snake Catcher, his current methods were even more powerful.

These fusion-evolved Electric Bees, imbued with Thunder, were a killer trump card. Tu Xiao'an had no need to clash head-on with the Vampire Snake.

A four-Level difference was still a huge gap. It was best to take care of the Vampire Snake as easily as possible.

He watched with a mocking gaze as the Vampire Snake trembled, the electrifying shock leaving its body as stiff as a rock.

Just as the Electric Bee King's third bolt of Thunder was about to fall, the Vampire Snake finally reacted. Its Snake Gaze—cold, fierce, and venomous—suddenly locked onto the Electric Bee King in the sky.

CRACK...

Light flickered around the Electric Bee King as a bolt of Thunder flashed and whistled straight down.

In that instant, a glint of intelligence flashed in the Vampire Snake's Snake Gaze, and it suddenly darted out of the small crater.

BOOM!

The bolt of Thunder missed.

The Vampire Snake appeared in another spot and reared its head, staring warily at the Electric Bee King in the sky.

'Looks like it's figured out where the Thunder is coming from.'

Tu Xiao'an was surprised. The Vampire Snake had taken two direct hits from the Thunder, yet it seemed fine and even had the foresight to dodge the third bolt.

The Electric Bee King's position was now completely exposed to it.

'Tough. This mutated Snake Species is not only smart, but it can really take a beating.'

As an Awakened Strange Snake, its Life Force was abnormally powerful. As long as it was left with a single breath of life, it could make a full recovery.

Next, the Electric Bee King unleashed three bolts of Thunder in quick succession. Amazingly, the Vampire Snake dodged every single one.

Even Tu Xiao'an himself wasn't confident he could dodge the Electric Bee King's Thunder. It was lightning, after all—impossibly fast, arriving in the blink of an eye.

Any other venomous snake would have been struck dead by the Thunder long ago. Was Thunder really that easy to dodge?

But Tu Xiao'an remained unconcerned, watching as if it were a show. With a slight flicker of his thoughts, twenty Electric Bees suddenly appeared in the air above the Vampire Snake. Each Electric Bee contained three bolts of Thunder within its body.

This was everything Tu Xiao'an had.

'Rain hell on it!'

Tu Xiao'an roared in his mind, and his Killing Intent erupted, blasting forth like a violent gale.

The twenty Electric Bees in the sky above crackled with electricity. Streaks of Thunder, like silver snakes, shot out from their bodies, all of them striking madly toward the Vampire Snake.

BOOM... BOOM... BOOM...

What a sight it was. Twenty bolts of Thunder struck at a single target simultaneously. The dazzling light was bright enough to turn night into day.

In an instant, dust flew and stones were kicked up. The world seemed to lose its color as white light flashed everywhere. The Vampire Snake became a fiery red shadow, a phantom weaving through the barrage of Thunder attacks—a truly dumbfounding sight.

Suddenly, the ground began to shake violently. Then, with a series of thunderous booms, the surrounding earth was torn asunder, small craters blasted open one after another, sending dirt flying everywhere.

Every bolt of Thunder that missed left a small crater in the dirt.

It had to be said, this Vampire Snake was truly worthy of being called an Awakened Exotic Beast, to still have the ability to resist.

However, under the relentless bombardment from the twenty Electric Bees, the Thunder fell like a torrential downpour, and the ground where it stood was almost completely engulfed.

HISSS...

Every time a bolt of Thunder struck the Vampire Snake, it let out a fierce cry, its appearance growing more and more wretched.

In just a few moments, it had been struck by at least ten bolts of Thunder. Beneath its fiery red stripes were incomparably hard scales that gleamed coldly, seemingly impervious to any weapon.

It was still holding on, proudly surviving beneath the storm of Thunder.
