After the legendary draw lots that occurred in the academe villa, I somewhat lived like an emperor choosing a royal concubine every night during the weekday evenings. The weekends had been previously set to be spent with other husbands that are living in other places so the seven people in the villa had no choice but to give up those two weekends.

As a result of this arrangement, I had to continuously juggle my time between visiting Eieneos, the World Tree Realm, Marahuyo, Sklavryet and the Moonlight Inn during Saturdays and Sundays. The rest of the week was assigned to whoever is the lucky husband whose name was picked from the draw lots box each night.

I was required by the people in the villa to be home by dinner time during weekdays so we can have at least one meal together for each day. The draw lots were done every night so I do not have a choice but go back and forth between different places everyday. It was quite tiring but since I promised to be as fair as I possibly can, I had to get through all of these things with no complaints.

The two weeks were nothing but hectic though the days went by quite quickly. It was as if it was nothing but a few blinks of the eye before it was all gone. I believe that I just got lucky with the body I received from the gods of this plane because if it was somebody else in my situation, they surely wouldn’t have survived like me.

My day were spent moving from one place to another, talking to people and making sure that I got everything covered even during my absence. I also tried pack in more stuff that I could complete and benefit from during this immersion trip. In this life, I have to be as efficient as possible and also ensuring I get the greatest amount of benefit from the amount of effort I put in.

The first place I decided to visit was royal palace as a way of thanking my in-laws for allowing me to go to the north for my immersion and all the other benefits they have provided me as their daughter-in-law so far. I always told them to not show too much partiality but I guess they are just too happy that somebody finally married their stubborn son.

My main goal in visiting the palace was actually to discuss my visits to the northern villages and towns to my in-laws. These places rarely get assistance from the royal capital due to the sheer distance. When these places ask for help, the government responds but it still takes some time for the help to arrive and sometimes, help doesn’t get there in time for the ones that needed them.

My parents-in-law have already sent scouts in advance to visit every village to bring necessities as well as take note of the things each village needed urgently. This is the most efficient way to do it, in a sense that I can bring exactly what each place needed when I pass by those areas.

I also made several visits to the central military office in Hoffen City since they have the insider information of the current status of the military camps in the north as well as the things that the conscripted soldiers urgently need. True to being known as an office that works efficiently, they have already made a list of everything that the camps possibly need.

After finding out about my space ability, they made sure to fully use my ability by making me carry military supplies and provisions that were good for at least three months to ensure the survival of the soldiers and staff. To make sure I could enter the camps freely, they also gave me a recommendation letter as a temporary military doctor of the camp for the whole duration of my stay.

I also thought of how to earn money during my trip so I made sure to drop by the adventurer’s hall to check on possible tasks I can do during the couple of months I will be staying up north. I was provided a special permission to get several tasks at once given that my stay outside Hoffen was quite long. This was brought about by my high adventurer rank that I got within just a year from the time I started and also due to the fact that I have been always diligent with finishing my tasks.

I also didn’t forget to drop by at the magic tower to visit Grandpa Mage as my last stop. Alright, yeah. I also visited the other guy that was trying to woo me and whom I had made a promise too.

I had to tell the both of them about my upcoming departure and plans as well as the things I will be doing while I am away. Mr. Tangerine actually wanted to accompany me but I disagreed since that actually defeats the purpose as to why I am asking him to wait for my decision when I come back from my immersion. Even if I disagreed, he still looked excited. Maybe, because he will be getting an answer from me when I get back?

I also made sure to process all necessary business documents with the help of my people from the Moonlight and Starlight blocks. The Starlight block has been fully built and is just waiting for the goods to be delivered for selling as well as hiring the right number of people to man all of the stores.

As promised, Kayden will have full management of the Moonlight side while Lark will manage the Starlight side. It may cause some competition in terms of profitability but it should bring more income to the household if they do well. Everything will eventually come back to the family’s treasury anyways and I have been clear about banning any form of in-fighting so they just have to reign themselves in.

My other visits were to Marahuyo to check the current population and ensure that they have enough sustenance for the growing population in the sanctuary. It seems that the news have spread about the safe paradise that I have created. I had no choice but to expand the area and also select new leaders.

Since my husbands will be leaving the place soon to go to the new world tree realm. Majority of the population in the sanctuary are now beast men so I decided to have them elect one representative from each clan to create a group of decision makers to keep all things in order.

Once the new leaders were elected, I finally guided my pregnant mystique husbands and my in-law (Makisig’s father) on their move to my personal realm within the World Tree’s protection to ensure that their bodies will be strong enough to support the growing babies. It would be best if they can settle in the soonest. I can also help them handle the accommodations and everything else they need before the babies come out since I still have some free time.

My last stop was the free trade city that I built in partnership with Noir which is already half built. All the territory and protective walls are up as well as the main building that will represent the dummy government that will be built. I planned to have Richard, his brothers and their people to manage the city. I promised to give them a portion of the profits from the businesses in the city so they were quite pumped to do well once the city operations start.

Honestly, planning the city was the second most tiring aspect of my two weeks. It was like building your own country. I had to decide how it would run, how things are priced, how much was the land if it was for sale or for rent, laws, taxes and everything else that is needed to make it an autonomous territory. Dimitri has already told his grandparents about us coming at this time through a letter he sent about a week ago. He did not tell them yet the reason for the the sudden homecoming for safety purposes, just in case the letter is intercepted by any chance. We can just tell them the great news once we arrive there.

When we arrived in the estate, my grandparents-in-law welcomed us with big smiles and tight hugs. Dimitri excitedly told them the reason why he suddenly came home in the middle of the semester. The good news made the elderly couple very happy. They promised to take care of Dimitri and their great grandchildren while I am away for an important task.

Sadly, I can’t be with all of them all the time. It is such a relief for me that my husbands still have their fathers, trusted relatives or friends with them to keep them company during such a delicate time in their lives.
