Inheriting a Lost Bloodline, My First Task is to have heirs?!-Chapter 380 - Finalizing things and going back to reality
Chapter 380: Chapter 380 - Finalizing things and going back to reality
After our long and warm bath, Dimitri had finally calmed down and stopped his ugly crying and sobbing. No, don’t get me wrong. He was very happy and he could not contain it so here we are.
After having his crying session, I had to dress him up like a little prince since he is too weak to do so. He then obediently followed me to the room of beginnings to have himself and the babies checked. I immediately sent an urgent telepathic message to my parents so they could meet us there for the check up and to help me in calming down my husband a bit more.
When we got in to the room of beginnings, my parents are already waiting for us just outside the door. My father quickly held Dimitri’s hand and guided him inside. He did the check up and I could see the sheer happiness my father has after confirming another pregnancy. Why wouldn’t he, if it was a multiple pregnancy with more babies compared to before?
I was quite surprised though that he didn’t have a steong reaction that there were three instead of the usual two. It seems that he wasn’t surprised about it because most likely, Laerad must have come here secretly before to get himself checked as well.
My father gave Dimitri a necklace that would automatically save up some of his mana and essences for future use. It was set to siphon only a small amount everyday since his body still has support three growing children. A little bit everyday will still go a long way for milk production when the time comes. The ring he was wearing connects me to him in a way that I can check his health and safety at all times as well as give him the needed mana and essences to support the children.
As for me, I have been depositing several times a day in the receptacles assigned to me. It is good that my recovery rate has always been the best and the fastest so I am the only one who could do it. I started this strenuous task after Ioannis got pregnant. It was in preparation for all the children I will be having since I have already decided to focus on the birthing task that was assigned to me when I arrived in this world.
After the check-up, my husband was visibly relieved. We hen went to the dining hall to have a sumptuous brunch together with everyone. It was our last meal in Eieneos before we had to leave due to previous engagements and priorities.
Before we know it, our two week stay in Eieneos is over. Dimitri and I are on our way back to Hoffen City. I carefully held Dimitri’s hand as we teleported back to our villa inside the academe. We sat on the sofa for a bit to rest since it was a rare time that we have the villa all to ourselves.
We decided to have a serious and private conversation regarding our plans for the next couple of months before he gives birth especially because I am set to leave for the northern borders in a couple of weeks. I wish that I could still back out from that trip but I couldn’t. I wanted to stay longer with him but everything has already been scheduled way before I completed the Athanoviya Marriage Ritual with all six of my new official husbands.
One of the topics that we had to talk about is his decision on where he will be staying and when. I asked him if he plans to stay in the academe for now so I can make arrangements for him to be brought to Arista after the end of the semester when I come back from my immersion or if he preferred to be with his grandparents in Arista sooner than that.
Dimitri decided to just finish some short courses at the start of this new semester while I am still in the academe to make his time productive. At the same time, he said that he also wanted to spend as much time as he possible can with me while I am in the academe. He looked like he was about to cry again just thinking about tha fact that we won’t be seeing each other for the next several weeks once I leave.
I promised Dimitri to stay with him as much as I can but also had to honestly tell him about all the places that I needed to go to and all the things I have to complete before I leave for the immersion. Dimitri simply nodded in understanding and stole a kiss from my lips as he slowly walked inside his room with a smile on his face. He simply said that he wanted to change his clothes and rest more before dinner.
Since he has already chosen what he preferred more, it is then decided that once I am about to start on my immersion trip, I will be dropping him off first at the Vacarro estate to stay with his grandparents. This is so that he can be taken cared of 24/7 while I am away. This is also to ensure that his pregnancy will only be known to very few people for his safety. I will also secretly assign some people from Noir to keep him safe to be sure, not that the barriers I have previously set up around the estate are just for show.
I only have the immersion trip as my only class for this semester since I was required a month long of immersion to help with everything that I possibly can in the war-stricken borders of the north. My physician’s certification also requires me to provide medical help for free for at least two hundred people and the only way to do that is to visit other places on my way to the north. This in turn will prolong the time needed for me to reach the northern borders.
Since my physician certification required at least 200 people, the military camps and refugees there may not be enough to cover all that and not all of them may require medical help. To be sure that I complete the requirement, I plan to visit every single town, village and territory on my way up there then check what they need. I have equipped myself of any possible items that I may need to do so.
To avoid issues of me being too favored by the academe and the royal palace, though it was the truth, I accepted the task of also being a delivery guy. As to what I would be delivering in the areas I will passing by on my way to the north, it would be seeds, medicine and basic sustenance. I also received delivery packages with some medicine, weapons, food, clean water and other essential military supplies for the camp in the north. I was treated as a delivery service through and through after they found out I have a massive storage space.
The excess of two weeks was not at all a resting time for me. It is actually the busiest period of the earlier part of my second year in the academe. I will use these two weeks to take care of everything I needed to do in Athanoviya, Sklavryet and Marahuyo.
Since I will be away from the capital and those other places for at least a month or two, I have to ensure everything is in the right order and that any possible problems could be avoided before it happens or that if anything happens, contingencies are in place.
I can teleport if there are any problems but it would be hard to explain to the people around me if I suddenly disappear and reappear at random times during my stay. I would also rather use my mana to make milk for my children than use it for long distance back and forth teleportation trips. That is just a total waste of energy and time.
I also have other plans during this trip and that is to harvest more seeds. My father said that human seeds are fine if we were to use it in the room of beginnings since the enchantments there will slowly deify the children similar to how my twins with Ioannis came out to be. It will make my job easier if I can just do this alternate option. I have to be choosy on where to get the seeds though to avoid future troubles.
My first quarter of the year is critically important in more ways than one. There are so many things I would be able to accomplish if I do everything right and as planned.
After a few hours, the people living in the villa arrived one by one. Dimitri and I had to stop our private conversation for now and greet everybody. Arthur as usual, hurriedly prepare more food for dinner since there are two additional people at the dining table tonight.
