Infinite Regeneration In The Apocalypse-Chapter 126: Stablizing His Strength
Then they opened.
When Vogue opened his eyes, they glowed with four distinct colors simultaneously—silver for Time, ice-blue for Frost, white-gold for Thunder, and burning orange for Fire. All four colors swirled together in his irises in mesmerizing patterns before gradually fading back to normal.
A system notification appeared before him, confirming what had occurred.
[Bloodline Evolution Complete]
[Ancient Primordial Nine-Headed Dragon → Heavenly Nine-Headed Ancestral Chaos Dragon]
[New Abilities Unlocked]
[Elemental Law Manipulation Achieved]
Vogue took a slow, deep breath and felt the change immediately. The four elements he controlled were no longer merely elements in the traditional sense. They had transcended energy and become laws—fundamental rules of reality that governed how those forces operated throughout existence.
Time was no longer just the ability to slow, stop, or reverse temporal flow. It had become the Law of Time itself—the authority to dictate how causality operated within his sphere of influence.
Ice wasn’t just freezing energy anymore. It was the Law of Ice—the power to decree absolute zero and unmake thermal energy through fundamental authority rather than mere technique.
Thunder had evolved beyond electricity into the Law of Thunder—dominion over all electromagnetic forces and the capacity to command the very concept of destructive energy.
Fire had transformed from simple flames into the Law of Fire—sovereignty over combustion, heat, plasma, and the fundamental force of transformation through burning.
Vogue raised his right hand and thought a single command.
The four elements bloomed into existence simultaneously, manifesting like a flower opening its petals. Ice formed on his palm in the shape of a perfectly crystalline lotus. Fire ignited around the ice without melting it, creating a ring of flames. Thunder crackled between the two in spiraling arcs of electricity. And time itself seemed to distort around the entire construct, making it appear to age and regress simultaneously.
All four elements existed in perfect harmony, controlled with nothing more than a thought. No hand signs, no energy expenditure, no conscious effort required.
This was power on an entirely different level from what he had possessed before.
Vogue smiled slightly and closed his hand, causing all four elements to vanish instantly back into nothing.
Vogue let out a long, deep sigh of relief as he felt his transformation finally settle and stabilize. It was truly over. The three-day metamorphosis had concluded successfully, and his strength had increased so drastically that it was almost difficult to comprehend the difference.
His physical power had multiplied several times over. His control over elemental laws had reached a completely new tier. And most importantly, the number of clones he could now create and maintain simultaneously had doubled from nine to eighteen. With eighteen clones operating at once, each one possessing his full abilities, he had essentially become a small army unto himself.
But raw power without control was just as dangerous as having no power at all. Vogue needed time to properly master his new strength before he could use it effectively in combat situations.
He stood up carefully from his bed and began performing simple breathing exercises, trying to regulate the massive amounts of energy flowing through his body. But even this basic action caused immediate problems.
Just breathing heavily made strange things happen around him without any conscious intention. When he exhaled, the air in front of his mouth would suddenly freeze solid, creating crystals of ice that hung suspended for a moment. Then flames would spontaneously ignite around the ice without any source of fuel. Lightning would crackle between the ice and fire in small arcs. And worst of all, time itself would become unstable in the immediate area, causing objects to age rapidly or reverse their state randomly.
A book on his desk aged fifty years in three seconds, its pages yellowing and becoming brittle. Then it suddenly returned to perfect condition as time reversed around it.
This was clearly unacceptable. Vogue couldn’t go outside and interact with people if simply breathing would cause reality to malfunction around him.
He sat back down and began performing systematic control exercises that he had learned during his time as a Stellar Knight. He focused on containing his power, on keeping it locked inside his body rather than letting it leak out into his surroundings.
Breathe in slowly and deliberately. Hold it. Breathe out with perfect control, not allowing any excess energy to escape. Repeat. Again. And again.
Move one arm through a simple motion, being conscious of exactly how much strength was being applied. Too much and he would accidentally destroy furniture. Too little and the movement would feel wrong.
Stand up. Sit down. Stand again. Each movement calculated and measured until it became natural once more.
After approximately two hours of continuous practice, Vogue finally managed to reach a state where he could move and breathe normally without causing any strange phenomena in his environment. The power was still there, massive and overwhelming, but now it was properly contained and controlled.
He looked around his small room and couldn’t help but sigh heavily at what he saw. His living space had been completely scattered and destroyed during the three-day evolution process.
The bed frame had cracked in multiple places from the energy fluctuations. His desk had split down the middle. Books and papers were strewn everywhere, some of them burned or frozen or aged to dust. The window had somehow both shattered and reformed several times, leaving the glass in a strange warped state. Even the walls showed cracks and scorch marks.
He would need to find a new place to live soon, preferably somewhere more durable that could handle his increased power levels.
Vogue suddenly remembered something important. He hadn’t eaten a single thing for the past three entire days while he was wrapped in that golden egg cocoon. His body had been sustained purely by the divine energy from the Divinity Fruit during the transformation.
But strangely, he wasn’t hungry at all. Not even slightly. His stomach didn’t growl or feel empty. He felt perfectly satisfied, as though he had just finished a large meal.
Apparently his body had changed enough that normal human needs like eating had become optional.
Vogue shrugged his shoulders at this discovery, filed it away as interesting information, and then headed toward his door. He stepped outside into the hallway and closed the door firmly behind him, making a mental note to deal with the room repairs later.
His destination was clear in his mind. He needed to go to the Citadel Administration Center, the official government building where all newly awakened Stellar Knights were required to register. Getting his official registration would grant him legal status, access to restricted areas, and various privileges that unregistered awakened individuals didn’t possess.
