The second team, with a large number of reinforcements, gave some much-needed respite to the first group. They used their potions to recover their mana, but Sealyn still kept fighting. Even Rain couldn't follow her movements, so he just guarded Terra and Seara.

"This is on the same level as the seal that Branden made with me," Rain said. "You guys sacrifice all of your abilities and parameters to boost her powers." freёnovelkiss.com

"We did that as soon as you disappeared to make sure that they wouldn't die no matter what," Terra explained. "We never used it, though. Since we created those seals to those three."

"Why?" Annie asked when she joined the talk.

"It was only a countermeasure. You don't want to feel like all of your accomplishments were thanks to our help, right?" Terra asked. "

"After a while, we thought that it would be unnecessary and unfair to use them," Sears said. "Still, this situation called for a different approach."

The group shared an unspoken understanding amid the onslaught of fire and lightning. They recognized the need to make Sealyn stand out, not just for the success of the mission but also because of the growing sense that things were going too smoothly. A subtle tension was in the air, a collective awareness that the enemy might have a trick up their sleeve.

The decision to unleash the enhanced powers of Sealyn, coupled with the relics, was a strategic move. It was a way to ensure that their actions would leave a lasting impact on the battlefield and make the mission an absolute success. The group understood the importance of creating that moment, not just to secure victory but to be prepared for any unforeseen challenges that might arise.

Their intuition proved accurate sooner than expected. Suddenly, a group of monsters in the vicinity ceased all movement, their bodies trembling with an ominous energy. The stillness was shattered as the monsters exploded, creating a grotesque rain of blood that painted the battlefield crimson. The mana levels in the area surged, a sensation that Rain had experienced before.

"Get out of there!" Rain shouted.

A circle of blood appeared on the snow-covered battlefield… it was the same phenomenon that happened when the dungeons were created. Naturally, they weren't expecting to see a dungeon appear there… but something else. Fortunately, everyone had the chance to move away before the circle of blood could be completed.

A weird sound echoed in the area as a flash of light took over the place… it was a muffled sound that they couldn't quite describe. Still, everyone could sense the mana of the area being used to do something. When the light vanished, all the blood had vanished as well, and in its place, everyone could see a single figure…

A towering figure stood in its place. The figure was humanoid, standing at an imposing height of around five meters, adorned in a thick and mechanical dark armor that exuded an aura of foreboding danger.

What caught everyone by surprise was the human head perched atop the colossal figure. The rest of the body remained concealed within the confines of the imposing armor, making it a bold choice to leave such a critical part exposed. The figure had a clean-shaven face devoid of eyebrows, creating an unsettling and otherworldly visage.

When the figure opened its eyes, a piercing gaze met the onlookers. The eyes, void of any discernible emotion, gave the impression that the figure had been in a deep slumber for an extended period.

The revelation of this enigmatic being added a new layer of complexity to the unfolding situation, and a hushed tension settled over the battlefield as everyone tried to understand this unexpected adversary.

"Teleportation…" Rain said while clenching his teeth.

That technique always brings bad memories… but it wasn't the same type of teleportation that the dragon god used. Regardless, the figure looked around for a moment as if he was accessing the strength of everyone around and then stopped his eyes on Rain… he wasn't the strongest, and Sealyn, with all those buffs and equipment, was much stronger, but the creature still ignored her.

"... It looks like I am getting infamous," Rain thought.

All of a sudden, Isa fell from the sky and attacked the creature with two giant dragon claws, but the attack didn't reach the target. A Warhammer suddenly materialized in that guy's hand, and he blocked the attack with it… Isa's all-out attack didn't make the enemy even flinch…, and she was a three thousand years old half dragon.

"Spread and kill the monsters!" Isa shouted.

A thick layer of metal emerged from the armor and then covered the face of the enemy and then he silently and quickly moved his weapon and then hit Isa before she could try to move away. She blocked the attack, but she was sent flying to the distance while making a high-pitched sound.

The next moment, the enemy appeared in front of Rain while swinging his hammer vertically… that was bad… Terra and Seara were right behind him, and they had lost their powers to buff Sealyn. Right now, they were as strong as ordinary humans from old Earth.

Rain moved his arms and then lowered his posture to block the attack… a powerful blast echoed in the area when Rain stopped the attack… he felt all of his bones cracking even though he used everything in his arsenal to power himself up. When he began to be pushed backward, Danny and Annie suddenly appeared on the sides of the enemy.

They punched the sides of his head, but the enemy didn't even flinch.

Those two opened their eyes widely when they saw that… even dragons could feel their punches, but that guy didn't… In the next moment, the enemy moved his focus toward them, and they felt shivers run down their spine… until Rain hit the chin of the enemy with the red hammer and raised the body of the enemy upward.
