"That man is many things, but I don't believe him to be someone who reneges on his promises," said Amaris. "He'll definitely show; as for when, I'm unsure. Knowing him, he likely wants to make a big splash, similar to what he did with the first six floors of every Ascension Tower—especially HELL."

"I heard about that… The Towers of Babylon, right?" asked Flora, her expression a mixture of awe and disbelief. "All except for the Three Great Demon Kings have been permanently trapped within them. And because the Great Demon Kings aren't able to so easily descend to the lower floors of HELL to remedy the situation, they're rendered both helpless and furious."

"So you're aware," Amaris exhaled helplessly. "However, because of Cassius's relationship with Zaraphina, eldest daughter of Astaroth, he is conflicted on where he stands."

"Zaraphina…" Flora's round eyes darkened ever so subtly as she hated how many women were swarming toward her man.

Noticing this fluctuation in emotions, Amaris shook her head.

Having long since given up on the matter with her daughter and her first mark, she gave no opinion.

"Regardless, your worries pertaining to the participation of that man are likely for naught," said Amaris while nodding in the direction of the Crestmore Vampire Duke Family. "See over there? That Bella girl is holding up a screen in the direction of the Arena's Isolated Fighting Dimension. Is anyone on that screen familiar?"

"Huh? Why— Wait! I know them!"

"Figured as much." Amaris crossed her arms under her large bosom. "They're connected to that man, aren't they?"

"Yes!" Flora replied, though scowled while continuing. "They're the stingy bitc— women that used to hang around Cass on the 0th Floor of the Humanity Ascension Tower. When I was spending most of my time on Earth, they were annoyingly clingy and protective—especially the one carrying the tablet and that Egyptian woman on the other side of the screen."

"Bella Crestmore does have that kind of personality, doesn't she?" Amaris mused. "As for the Egyptian woman… Wait… Could it be…?"

It was unmistakable!

No one else had a presence or appearance quite like hers!

"Hellion…" Amaris muttered, thinking to herself. "But I thought the Great Demon Kings had disposed of her eons ago… Did they decide to keep her around in the end, even after her betrayal? Or were they unable to completely erase her…?"

But more importantly, why had she not heard of this until now??

And what was Hellion doing on the 0th Floor of the Humanity Tower??

"Oh, mother, I forgot to mention it, but that irritating Hellion is actually Cassius's Scion in HELL," Flora stated casually, leaving her mother speechless. "She controls and governs the first six Floors of HELL on his behalf. I even hear that she has power equivalent to a High-rank Godlike Powerhouse." freewebnoveℓ.com

'Hellion has already regained that much of her strength?? But how!?'

Almost immediately, though, she realized what the cause for this astronomical surge in strength was.

"Cassius… He must've somehow transferred some of his own power to her…"

But if that was truly the case, just how powerful had that young man become??

To conquer or dominate the 6th Floor of any Ascension Tower, you just had to be below a certain age. As for your power level, it could be anywhere from the Half-step Godlike Rank to the Absolute Pinnacle of the Godlike Rank.

Determining Cassius's strength from his achievements in the Ascension Tower alone was virtually impossible…

"So, what is that screen?" Amaris asked to change the subject. "And how are people moving and talking through it?"

"You don't know, Mother?" Flora showed a puzzled look. "Then again, I suppose you wouldn't."

"Well, to put it briefly…"

After explaining everything in a short summary, Amaris deeply furrowed her brows. "Human mortals really are unusual. They make such things instead of furthering their strength."

"As far as I'm aware, Mother, the humans of Earth had no methods that could be used to improve their strength by large degrees," Flora said with a wizened tone, acting like some mysterious Master. "And in their limitless free time, they decided to focus on the advancement of technology."

"How… weird…"

After giving her piece, Amaris returned her attention to the Arena.

"Mhmm… Momma, when is it going to start…?" The little girl who had kept quiet this entire time finally spoke up, just now waking up from her nap. "Want to see some fighting…"

"It shouldn't be too long now, Chella dear," replied Amaris. "Just go back to sleep, and the moment you awake again will be the beginning of the fights."

"Mhmkay…" Chella drowsily rubbed her big round eyes before going back to sleep on her mother's thigh.

Flora and Amaris both smiled at this adorable sight.

Meanwhile, Bella, who was with her father, mother, and little sister, held up the tablet she had in her hands. She made sure everyone tuning in got a good view of the absolutely massive Arena.

And although she'd never admit it, she was having quite a lot of fun…

"That over there is the glorious Tree of Yggdrasil, whereas that is the Royal Palace… and that is…"

Bella rambled on and on, ultimately making Aya frustratingly say, "Can you please stop speaking so quickly?? We have no idea what you're even talking about anymore!"

Bella paused.

Her cheeks slowly filled with air as she coldly snorted. "I'm only doing this for you floozies because I feel like it would make my husband happy, so the least you could do is show a little gratitude! Humph!"

*Tick!*

"For the millionth time, he's not your husband!"

Multiple stunning women on the other side of the tablet bled Bella's eardrums.

"Why so loud??" she asked while covering her ears. "Darling has been my husband for so long; you'd think that you bimbos would be used to it by now. But I guess all the fat on your chests has rotted your brains."

"This bitch…"

Even the normally reserved Stella was feeling incensed over the ragebaiting of the vampire princess.

"Hey," said Viola, breaking through the tense atmosphere. "Is anyone going to tell me what's going on yet…? I was literally just kidnapped by the Egyptian and brought here with no explanation…"

All the girls turned to stare at Hellion, but saw that she was whistling while averting her gaze.

"Similar to that Bella bit—lady, I felt that Master would want the purple-haired one to witness his magnificence in person."

"Is that why you brought me here as well…?"

This voice was an unfamiliar one, even to the oldest members of the extended Steele Family.

Corra.

It was her speaking up that urged Sasha, the most mature of the group, to give the two newcomers the deets.

After some time…

"I know that Cassius had a lot to do with the restructuring of the world, but to think he has already reached beyond the Solar System…" Corra muttered in amazement, observing the limitlessly large world of beauty shown on the other side of the tablet screen. "He's actually in a place like that right now… And Heaven; he actually went there as well?"

"Yep, yep!" Bella proudly pointed her small button nose up. "Not only has Darling gone to Heaven, he even conquered the first six Floors! Even God himself had an audience with Darling, hoho~"

"God…?" Corra's jaw dropped. "Like the one from the Holy Scriptures?? The God of the Bible???"

"One and the same!" Bella replied arrogantly. "But in front of Darling, face still had to be given. That just goes to show how awesome he is! My perfect husband~!"

Corra had no words to describe what she was feeling right now.

Everything she was hearing just seemed so unbelievable…

'But knowing him…'

Corra was one of the first to witness Cassius's transformation to an absolute unit firsthand. If it was anyone, then it would be her that knew just how much of a freakish monster he was.

"Anywho, now that we got all the tedious recaps out of the way, let me explain how the Tournament will work," said Bella, still putting on airs. "So basically, thousands of top geniuses from all 8 Ascension Towers will…"

Her family curiously watched as she explained everything using grand theatrics and exaggerated hand movements.

"What is sissy doing, Momma?" Zuzu, the youngest daughter of the Crestmores, pulled on her beautiful mother's dress. "She looks like she's having fun."

"Yes, she's having fun," Carmilla replied with a carefree tone. "A lot of fun indeed. In fact, other than when she's talking about that young man, she's never shown an expression like that one."

"My baby girl is all grown up…"

Alaric started to tear up while biting down on the collar of his shirt. All the precious memories he made with his rebellious daughter flashed through his mind, reminding him of every time he remained blissfully oblivious to her growing tendencies of craziness.

A glum air spread out over him as he drooped his head off to the side.

"Be honest with me, guys, am I a bad father…?" Alaric asked with hope in his voice.

Surely, they'd deny such a notion—

"Most indubiously."

"Yes, Papa."

THUNG! THUNG!

Alaric felt like he was repeatedly beaten with a heavy sledgehammer, each hit caving his chest in.

"I should just go find a hole to jump in and die…"

"But don't vampires normally like sleeping in holes in the ground?" Carmilla asked with a playful tone, deriving large amounts of joy from toying with her normally stoic and serious husband. "Maybe leaping off a cliff would be better."
