Infinite Dragon Beast: Taming Ice Dragons with SSS Ranked Talent-Chapter 101: Go to Wasteland, Again
***
Two days later.
News of Aiden’s fugitive spread across the Clovis Kingdom. As Aiden rested in the last village before Alron city, he saw a wanted notice posted on the village’s information bulletin.
"What is it, Aiden?" asked Aurora, standing behind her master.
Aiden pulled out the notice and saw the Clovis Kingdom was hunting him, as well as his two dragons. That was a bad sign for Aiden. He couldn’t return to Alron City under this situation.
"They’re searching for me," Aiden replied.
"Who?" asked Aurora.
"The Kingdom of Clovis." 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮
"Here, they allege that we destroyed a small village to the south, close to the Wasteland," Aiden replied.
Rachel paused, then remembered the incident before they fled to the Horald Kingdom. Back then, Azar had come to take Aiden and Amber away. But Aurora refused and transformed into a dragon.
Rachel did the same. The battle was inevitable, the village’s destruction was certain. That was the reason why Aiden became a wanted man in the entire Clovis Kingdom.
"Could it be because of that incident where we destroyed a village while fighting Azar?" Rachel asked, Aurora fell silent and responded with a nod.
"It’s possible. They told Arlon City about what happened. Maybe, Fiona told them too," Aurora replied.
"Then, what are we going to do? Are we going to fight them?" asked Joe.
"Their strength is beyond what we can imagine. It’s best not to attack rashly," replied Aiden.
Wherever Aiden went, he always ended up with complicated problems. His troubles with the Magical Astralis Academy weren’t over yet, and then came trouble with the Shadow Dragon Clan in the Horald Kingdom. Now, they are faced with a big problem involving a large kingdom.
The horse-drawn carriage they were supposed to take had arrived. The people who had been waiting began to enter one after another, leaving only Aiden and his team.
"Are you leaving? The next carriage will come later tonight," the charioteer said.
Aiden paused, then responded by shaking his head. The horse-drawn carriage’s destination was Alron City, one of the major cities in the Clovis Kingdom. If Aiden insisted on going there, he would be recognized and could endanger his life.
"We’re not leaving," Aiden explained.
The charioteer nodded. He mounted and sat in his seat, driving the carriage away from the village to the north toward Alron.
Seeing Aiden’s decision not to leave made Aurora confused. She was curious about Aiden’s next destination, especially about a safe place for them.
"Where are we going?" Aurora asked.
Aiden lifted his head and looked to the south, at the mountain range of fire. He thought of Amber and the Fire Dragon Clan.
Right now, Amber was trapped there with her dragon clan members. It was possible that they were also hunting Aiden to get his explanation about his true identity.
Even so, he was the Envoy Master sent by the Goddess of Magical Astralis. If their objective was to find the Envoy Master and cooperate with him, then Aiden’s life could be secured there.
He only needed to prove to them about his identity, though Aiden knew the Fire Dragon Clan King would be difficult to convince.
"We’re going to the Fire Dragon Clan!" said Aiden, deciding with conviction.
"Huh?! Fire Dragon?! We’ve just dealt with the Shadow Dragon Clan, now you want to mess with them?" asked Joe, shocked as he had no idea what was going on.
But Aurora and Rachel were different. They knew that Aiden had to go there, to save Amber. In their view, if Aiden had decided to do so, then they had no choice but to follow him.
"Alright. We’ll go," Aurora explained.
"I’ll help you there, Master Aiden," Rachel replied.
"Wait! Are you crazy?! The Fire Dragon Clan is one of the legendary dragon clans in this world, their rank is SSS," Joe said, informing them.
Aiden nodded, Aurora and Rachel responded the same. They knew what rank fire dragons were, they also knew the risks. Still, among the other choices of places, only the Fire Dragon Clan was safe for them.
"We will escort you to the Horald Kingdom’s border. You don’t need to be bound to me anymore," Aiden explained.
"No! You haven’t kept your promise to me. You said you’d fight me, but for two days you kept forgetting," Joe said.
"I’m not leaving until we fight!" Joe retorted.
The man in front of Joe smiled, both arms crossed over his chest as he stared clearly ahead, looking at Joe with confidence.
"You must know that my journey will be dangerous, right? We could die! You could die too," Aiden explained.
"I’m not going to let you die before you fight me! I will be your shield," Joe declared, speaking loudly to Aiden.
Aiden was silent, then turned to Rachel. Rachel nodded. She would be assigned to carry Joe on her back, while Aiden would go with Aurora. They had already agreed to go to the Fire Dragon Clan.
They entered one of the forests and transformed there. The icy blue light flashed brightly, as did the black ash color, a sign the dragon transformations of Aurora and Rachel were successful.
To Aiden’s surprise, he saw that Rachel’s body size had grown to resemble Aurora’s. That was good, it meant that Rachel had grown much stronger than before, either physically or in magical ability.
"Aren’t we going to go by horse-drawn carriage?" asked Joe, Aiden shaking his head.
"Too risky," Aiden replied.
After Aiden and Joe mounted their mounts. Aurora and Rachel flew strongly out of the forest, along with a strong gust of wind that blew away everything around them.
Flying in their camouflage magic abilities, Aiden and Joe didn’t feel worried that someone would see them.
Aiden did not know the exact location of them, the fire dragon clan. But their first encounter in the Wasteland might give them a lot of clues.
Now, their destination was the Wasteland. No matter what, they had to go there and meet one of the fire dragon clan members, even warriors were fine.
Everything Aiden did was for one purpose, to save Amber and convince the Fire Dragon Clan King.
"I’m coming, Fire Dragon Clan!"
