I’ll Become a Villainess That Will Go Down in History-Chapter 482
Chapter 482
482
I feel like I haven’t been in my own home library in a long time.
I woke up in the middle of the night, so I came straight here without sleeping twice.
I have been a little curious about Julie-sama for a while, though I would say it was out of my jurisdiction.
I had never met her or felt her presence in the palace. …Maybe they might have recognized my existence.
Or rather, they definitely recognize me.
I looked around the library, but there were no books that seemed to contain any information about her.
“…There’s no way there’s any information on Julie-sama, is there?”
I shrug my shoulders with a gulp.
She absolutely must know about Uncle Will’s death…. And yet she never showed her face….
I could not get a picture of the person at all. All I know was that she was an overprotective mother.
“That’s right!” I couldn’t help but say out loud, “Yes!
I should just ask the King what kind of person his mother was!
I didn’t know if he would answer me, but it would be a test of my ability to do so. …I could ask Duke-sama, but I wouldn’t want him to think that I was getting involved in unnecessary matters again.
Where the hell was Curtis-sama and Mel’s love affair? I could be sure that people would wonder where Curtis-sama and Mel’s love affair went.
But even if I sneak around, they would definitely find out. Duke-sama was always one step ahead of me.
I had to come up with some kind of strategy.
As I was thinking about this, a book suddenly caught my eye.
Oh, did we have a book like that?
I thought I had read most of the books in this house when I was a child.
I slowly walked toward the book. I wondered if it was safe for me to hold in my hands.
It looked as if it had been purchased from a demon.
No, no, no, a book like that in this house… wouldn’t the Williams family be cursed?
I fearfully put my face close to the book. I stared at the book closely.
What kind of situation could I be in where I could sense magic from a book?
I wrinkle my brow at the faint magic power emanating from the book.
I was glad that my days were never boring, but I wasn’t looking for that much stimulation. It would be nice to have a slower, calmer life.
I picked up the book with this thought in mind.
“Wow!”
I exclaimed at the weight and strong magic power of the book, which was beyond my imagination.
What kind of book was this?
Updat𝓮d from freewēbnoveℓ.com.
I tried to look at the title, but it was unreadable, and the cover was covered in black and contained no information.
The only thing I could make out was that it must be a very old book.
“This book is locked.”
I tried to pry it open with magic, but I couldn’t do it.
If magic was impossible, then force?
I put all my strength into my hands and tried to open it. It didn’t matter what the lock was. Power!
I struggled for a while, but the book didn’t seem to open at all.
I sighed heavily at the book that didn’t seem to budge.
“That’s quite a challenge.”
Gasping for breath, I desperately tried to pry it open and read what was inside, using magic and muscle power to do so.
