I Will Create a Good Ending for the Yandere Villainess-Chapter 301: One Thing after Another?
Chapter 301: One Thing after Another?
Lillian continued to rest her back against the ruined wall behind her, silently listening to the sounds of the crackling fires and chain explosions in the distance.
Her face shifted countless times as she tried to get over the loss of her chestplate.
She... Didn’t take loss very well, even for material things.
And the fact that most of her body was burned and bruised really badly wasn’t exactly helping her get through it.
She let out a shaky and pained sigh, wincing a little before muttering quietly:
"This... This sucks so bad..."
She then raised her arm, albeit with some difficulty, and pushed her hand towards the air, summoning a familiar system panel she hadn’t seen in a while.

"Heh... So many points..."
Lillian summoned a health potion into her hand at the cost of 10 Points, followed by a Mana potion for 15. In the time that she had been here, she had discovered she could only buy 15 of either potion each day.
This meant that if she were to buy 7 Health Potions, she would only be eligible to buy 8 Mana Potions.
She had previously bought and stored them inside her ring, but found they quickly lost their effectiveness after a day had passed.
Something... She was sure a certain Lady Luck had made as a way she wouldn’t have endless potions at hand any time.
After chugging the glass bottles and tossing them aside, she took a look at her body.
"I’ve recovered half my mana... But..."
She found that her body was still damaged.
Of course, not as much as before.
The potions she had been buying were similar to those of low-quality potions, except hers were far more effective, but not enough to be compared to a loving Assassin’s stash of potions.
As Lillian was thinking something along the lines of this, she couldn’t help but get a glimpse at a certain translucent line of mana she had created.
It was her Parasitic Line.
’Did the teleporter die?’
She looked towards the rubble that used to belong to buildings, albeit hard to make out due to the large amount of dust in the air.
Lillian supplied her Parasitic Line with mana, causing it to glow a faint scarlet red as it stole vitality and supplied it to her body. Soon enough, she was back to full health.
However, due to her actions, she seemed to have caught their attention, for her Parasitic Line seemed to twitch and move in her direction.
It then faded out of existence before reappearing again, this time, towards her left.
Swoosh!
Lillian leaned far back, dodging a narrow strike. Her eyes flashed towards the cultist, whose mask had been destroyed, now revealing a face that expressed guilt and sadness.
The sclera—the white part of their eyes—was pitch dark. It was... inhuman.
Their hand then shot towards her neck, slamming her into the wall and even sending her through it.
While in the air, Lillian coughed after being choked before flipping and landing on her feet.
She then stepped to the side, dodging a hasty swipe from the cultist. She continued dodging, finding hesitation to attack due to the man’s dreadful facial expression.
Eventually, steeling herself, she twisted her body around, dodging another narrow blow and transformed the tip of her entire arm into a sharp liquid blade.
Piercing through their chest with a blade coated in her Parasitic element, she drew mana out from their body. She needed to prevent them from escaping again.
However, she knew this wasn’t enough.
Before they could fade out of existence again and reappear somewhere else, she flooded their body with water, but this time, having it carry traces of Parasitism.
Once negating their ability to escape, Lillian raised her other arm, shaping it into another blade with a curved edge before swinging it.
She swung her arm at the side of his neck, sinking deep into it, but unable to completely take it off due to them pushing it back with their mana.
She stared into their eyes that seemed to tremble. And seeing this, she muttered in a quiet but soft voice:
"It’s fine now... Take a rest..." She comforted.
The cultist’s eyes trembled. Their lips shaking as they muttered with a desperate voice:
"I-... I am Hendrick... O-of the noble Swift f-family and a proud p-professor of t-the..." His words then slowed down as his eyes glazed over, as though he forgot.
Fortunately... His memory returned as the girl before him ended it for him.
"You are a proud professor of the Indominable Shield Academy of the West Region."
Her eyes softened on the man’s face, which seemed to relax. She then felt the resistance against her blade disappear, letting her blade glide through his neck smoothly.
However, before he would lose consciousness, she heard Lillian mutter:
"I’ll bury your body myself when I get the chance... So, just leave this world and rest."
Thud...
His head fell to the ground.
Thud...!
And so did his body soon after.
Although the fall was heavy... Lillian was sure the man’s shoulders weren’t anymore.
[You have slain a Champion Maw, Human]
[You have received a Shard]
Ding!
Lillian breathed a lonesome sigh as she looked up towards the sky again. Transforming her arms back to their original form, she opened her system again.
She looked at her Shards, finding another addition to them.
[Shard(s): Black Maw, Lady Fate’s Lucky Necklace of Entertainment, Depressing Warmth, Carapace Hunter, Fluttering Prowl, Swift Steps]
She sighed.
Her eyes lingered over the name of her Beetle, smiling slightly.
It wasn’t gone, unlike her Carapace Chestplate.
"Good... He’s still alive... I’m glad..." She murmured slowly under her breath before moving her attention to the quest section on her system.
[Number of people saved: 60, Number of people not saved: 11]
"..."
’So it is people that I couldn’t save directly... And to think...’
Lillian glanced down, looking at the man’s corpse.
’To think he counted...’
Lillian gave another exasperated sigh as she stared at the number of people she couldn’t save directly.
She then raised the side of her hand to her eyes, rubbing them.
"Man... It’s just one thing after another with you..." She muttered shakily.
