I Will Create a Good Ending for the Yandere Villainess-Chapter 128: Marionette got Given...?
"Phew~! I'm hella full now!" Lillian pushed her chair back away from the table and patted her stomach with a satisfied expression.
While she wasn't looking, Marionette, who was seated to her left, sneakily snapped a picture of her before hiding her phone. She then patted her mouth with a napkin and thanked her:
"Thank you for the delicious food as always. And for the dinner yesterday."
Lillian smiled. "No problem. You're the one paying for the groceries anyway. It's the least I can do."
"I see..." Marionette gave a small smile.
Lillian then watched as Marionette shifted her chair slightly closer to hers. She raised an eyebrow but let her be. She wasn't doing anything wrong, after all.
"So... are you going to tell me you were actually worried I was going to hate you or no—"
Marionette's hand flashed towards her before flamboyantly waving and summoning a charming-looking white box. Lillian tilted her head at it. "What's... this?"
"I wanted to get you a gift to say..." She then paused before deciding on a different answer. "I just wanted to get you a gift."
Lillian held the sides of the box before looking back up at Marionette and grinning teasingly, "You were definitely worried I would be angry with you."
"... I have no idea what you are talking about."
"Yeah~ yeah~... whatever you say, adorable~. I actually have something for you too." She then pulled out a dark brown rectangular box with a golden ribbon wrapped around it.
It had a checkered pattern across its surface—a cross between brown and a darker variant of it—with a 2D rectangular square with the branding name inside, reading "Lovate".
She then laughed. "To think we both got gifts for each other." She shook her head, incredulously.
After they exchanged gifts, they opened them.
Lillian stared down at the rabbit-shaped marshmallows, with a soft smile. She really got her something rabbit-themed. She wasn't entirely against it. The original Lillian's likes and dislikes were fused with hers.
She then looked towards Marionette's.
The thing found inside her gift was 3 separate rows of 5 beautiful black chocolates in the shape of small hearts.
This choice of shape left Marionette a little stunned as she looked towards Lillian and found her face just an inch away from hers.
"I thought I'd buy something a little extra. On top of knowing you love dark chocolate, I thought this would make a lovely small gift~."
"You... know I like dark chocolate."
Lillian thought for a moment, figuring out how to make an excuse for this knowledge. She eventually made up some half-ass excuse:
"Heh! Knowing is a stretch. It's more like I just guessed and assumed you would go with it."
Marionette stared at her, narrowing her eyes. "You're lying." Obviously, she saw through her lies.
Lillian gave a wry smile. "Does it matter, though...?"
"It does." Marionette quickly answered. She then backed off, "However, just because it's you, I'll let it be."
Lillian sighed in subtle relief before reaching for one of the chocolates found inside and pulling it out.
She then leaned back and raised the chocolate in between her index and thumb towards Marionette's mouth and said:
"Say ahh~..."
Marionette silently stared at the chocolate hovering before her lips. Eventually, she gave in, opening her mouth and even saying:
"Ahh..."
Lillian gently placed it into her mouth, snickering and giggling like an idiot. "You actually did it. Well aren't you the cutest~?"
Marionette seemed to pout slightly and brushed Lillian's hand away from her mouth.
She then chewed on the chocolate and found a luxurious, silky smooth texture brushing over her tongue. While you could taste the bitterness, it was ultimately faint and mainly sweet.
Lillian watched as Marionette enjoyed the chocolate and asked:
"Well~? How is it?"
"It's... good." She then fell into thought. "Could I ask how much you bought this for...? This is one of the more well-known brands for its quality, so it's likely it wasn't cheap. I remember that while you love money, you seemed to be reluctant to use it—especially recently."
Lillian tilted her head, "Recently...?" she soon realised that Marionette must've researched her background or something. And by recently she must mean when she crossed over into this world.
"Oh well... it was around... 50 Semis."
"... You're willing to pay that much for chocolate?"
Lillian chuckled, leaning her elbow against the table and leaning her chin into her hand. She turned her face slightly to the side, at her, and said:
"Well... it'll be worth it if I can see a smile on your beautiful face~..."
"... I see..." Marionette turned her face away. Just as she was about to respond, Lillian chimed in—her words causing her to freeze.

"Well, Reph bought it for me, so I didn't spend a single dime." She snickered, smugly—not knowing the sinister look hidden in Marionette's blood-red eyes.
"Excuse me?"
"Hm?"
"The Second Prince bought this for you?" She asked, in a low tone—the upper half of her face hidden by the shadows caused by her bangs.
Lillian raised an eye at this sudden shift in personality. "Yeah... should I not have accepted his offer?" This seemed to cause Marionette to stiffen a bit.
"... So he offered it to you... did he?"
Lillian wasn't sure why but she felt like the air suddenly dropped in temperature. She felt an uncomfortable shiver run up her spine as Marionette's hidden gaze focused entirely on her, intently.
Just as she was about to open her mouth to respond, something plugged it. It was sweet and soft.
She glanced down and saw one of the rabbit marshmallows in her mouth. She glanced up and saw Marionette casually holding out another to her. She seemed to have returned back to "normal", finally.
Lillian pulled the marshmallow into her mouth, using her lips, and chewed. She bit into the delicious crispy layer of coated chocolate, running her tongue over each individual sprinkle.
Her teeth then sunk into the rabbit's white flesh, meeting its milk chocolate filling that dyed her mouth.
As Lillian enjoyed the marshmallow that was continuously hand-fed to her, Marionette was making another mental note about the Prince, who was currently minding his own business in his room, watching shows on repeat.
