I was Kidnapped for Revenge by a Ruthless Alpha-Chapter 204: PureBlood’s Rise Again
~Narrator~
When the witches woke on the ground, they were alone, only the three of them. They were disoriented and dazed, but above all else, they were hungry.
They felt this insatiable appetite. Their throats burning with thirst. Blood. That’s the only thing they could think about. Warm. Fresh. Blood.
They needed it and they needed it fast.
But where? They couldn’t take anyone from the coven, not yet anyways. The nearest human village was far, a few miles.
Could they run it?
"I heard vampires have enhanced speed and endurance, you think we could run to the village that’s like three miles from here?"
"We won’t know until we try." The old Crone said. When she spoke the other two jerked their head and stared at her in disbelief.
The Crone was younger. Instead of looking 110, she looked like she was in her mid 50’s.
"Oh my god." The Maiden whispered, she almost slipped up and said goddess but remembered her blood bond and Ezelreth’s words and corrected herself.
"You don’t look like a crone anymore." The Mother commented. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞
"You look younger too Mother, your features are much sharper and your eyes, they’re glowing red. You looks, beautiful, so beautiful it feels almost unfair. If I look any younger, I’ll be a child." The Maiden whined.
"No, child, you look older." The Crone insists.
"How much older?" The Maiden raised her eyebrows in question.
"You look like you went from 16 to 26." The Mother answered.
"How exciting!" The Maiden squealed. "Let’s check out our speed."
She stood up, wobbly at first, but her equilibrium balanced out quickly. She dusted off her dress and cloak, the other two sister followed suit.
All three women waved their hands about above their heads and the shield that incased them melted away.
Outside there was a little pink haired woman kicking back, leaning against a tree. And three humans tied up and lying unconscious on the ground.
"These are for you, I know you’re starving, and I don’t need you three making stupid mistakes and exposing yourselves as newly made purebloods. Your thirst is probably insane. Drain them to near death and then leave them, I’ll take care of the rest." Ezelreth kicked one of the human men in the head. He groaned.
"See still fresh. Now take your meal and get out of my site I’m trying to relax."
The three witches stared at their next meal with unhinged bloodlust.
Luckily the humans were knocked out. It made it all the easier.
They each took a body dragging it to different corners, their mouths salivating for the smell of blood leaking from them, leaving a trail in the woods.
Tucked away they went in. Ravaging the body. Biting from different angles and draining them, the color of their bodies leaving, fading to pale bluish color.
The sisters, once finished, were completely blood-drunk. And stumbled back to Ezelreth.
"Don’t leave your leftovers on the ground, bring them here." Ezelreth said without opening her eyes.
The witches turned back and gathered their remains and dragged the bodies back as requested.
Dropping them at Violet’s feet, her eyes opened. A sickening and twisted grin crept up her cheeks, showing the real Ezelreth behind Violet’s face.
Witnessing the change right before their eyes, it was like a flicker of a man, only for a second. But they could see him, see him in her.
She pressed two hands to two of the humans and grinned, drawing in the last of their life force, the final stages settling in. Their skin greyed and their cheeks sunk in, tightening around its jaw. Teeth grew, fangs extending too long.
The witches felt a shiver roll down their spine. These things were all wrong.
He finished off the last human the same way.
"Those things cannot enter the coven’s boundaries." The Crone was firm in her command over her coven’s rights and rules.
Ezelreth raised an eyebrow and asked. "Oh, and how would you stop me?"
He knew he had them. They couldn’t they were trapped in their own oath. "Don’t please." The Mother asked next.
"I didn’t plan too, but don’t make demands of me ever again or I will defy them in the worst possible ways." Her sweet voice dripped with poison.
The Mother and Maiden gulped. The Crone frowned but said nothing.
"Now, on to full filling your end of our deal. I need some weygates unsealed." Ezelreth pushed up and began pacing, "You see, I have a little pest problem that I plan to handle in a few weeks, but this little pest has put a wrench in my plans by blocking my means of transportation. I use the weygates. And this pest and her little pest friends seem to know some powerful, knowledgeable witches because they were able to seal multiple gates."
He stopped his movement and turned to them, "I need you three to unseal it. The witches with enough power to make this happen and survive will be granted immortality. Becoming purebloods like yourselves."
The witches were stunned, they were in a frozen state of disbelief. They sealed weygates? What kind of pest did he have that had friends capable of that.
How were they going to undo that? That was something they didn’t know much about. Weygates.
"We need to study them, we are honestly not knowledgeable about them, they’ve been thought to be dead ends since the last fae left this world." The Mother mentions to him.
"I will bring you three and two others with me to study the weygate I used to come here." He was so casual about this the witches weren’t sure what to make of it.
"When do we leave?" The Maiden asked.
"The minute you have selected your witches; I don’t have time to waste or patience to spare."
The witches nodded nervously and turned on the heels, quickly heading back to the safety of the coven’s walls.
Ezelreth led his newest Turned around the boundary and tied them up with the other Turned.
After that he returned to his shifters and waited for the witches to come back.
It didn’t take long, but it was longer than he liked.
The witches had prompted their sisters about the deal and what it entails but informing them it’s a bite and it’s painful.
The two witches they chose were strong observers and were good at holding information. They would be the most useful for something like this.
"We will need to study both a sealed and unsealed gate from the inside and the out."
"That can be arranged." Ezelreth responded.
"Okay, that what are we waiting for, let’s go."
***Author’s Note: The battle you’ve been waiting for is finally coming. Will Odette free Violet by binding Ezelreth to the stone or will she break the chains and free him instead?***
