I Turned Filthy Rich Just By Sleeping With Women?!-Chapter 18: Forbidden Fruit Taste Like Jasmine
Chapter 18 - Forbidden Fruit Taste Like Jasmine
Su Meilin's eyes fluttered open, and the first thing she saw was Zhao Yiming sleeping soundly beside her.
His body was turned toward her, his hand tucked under her head like a pillow, and his long brown hair partially covered his face.
His jawline was sharp, as were his eyelashes and eyes. But somehow, there was always a gentle aura about him.
He was undeniably handsome—and before she realized it, her cheeks flushed pink.
"What a gorgeous man..." she murmured. "Totally my type."
If her father hadn't sold her off to that bastard Jin Haolong—ten years her senior—maybe... just maybe, she would've had a chance to pursue someone like Yiming.
She didn't just lose her dreams... she didn't even get to choose who to love.
She shifted slightly, but that small movement woke Zhao Yiming. He stirred, stretching with a low grunt, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes—then froze the moment he realized who was lying beside him.
Su Meilin.
Naked.
His mind scrambled. 'Shit, I actually had sex with her! Wild, dirty, toe-curling sex!'
But before he could mutter a word, Meilin looked at him with those soft eyes, cheeks pink, and casually said—
"Your hair... it's too long and messy. Want me to cut it for you?"
Zhao Yiming nodded slightly feeling so uneasy didn't know what to say.
They both stood, awkwardly gathering their clothes scattered around the bed and floor.
Every garment reminded them of what they did—and how hard they went.
'Damn perverted deity... making me do all that degenerate shit...' he groaned in his head, rubbing his temple.
Su Meilin pulled her robe over her body, her steps slow and careful. He could tell—her pussy must still be sore after taking his entire cock. The guilt hit him hard.
"Yiming, you can use my bathroom. I'll go outside to wash," she said softly, already heading to the door.
Zhao Yiming frowned. "No, I'll wash outside. I think your husband's already gone."
"Ah, right... he didn't even get inside the room. I forgot I didn't lock it." She smiled faintly.
After she left, Yiming headed to the shared toilet and stepped into the warm shower.
Steam filled the room, but he wasn't enjoying it.
He banged his forehead lightly against the tile wall, over and over.
Out of shyness... and happiness. He never expected that Su Meilin would ever be his—even if what they'd done was something forbidden.
But damn it... that forbidden fruit tasted too good. Sweet, sinful, and addictive.
'It's fine... Su Meilin wanted it too... and her husband's a jerk, he doesn't deserve her!' he thought, shaking his head to justify what he'd done.
After his shower, Zhao Yiming returned to her room, towel around his neck, hair damp.
From the half-open bathroom door, he could hear the faint whirr of a hairdryer and the soft hum of a song he didn't recognize.
He peeked inside.
Su Meilin was sitting in front of the mirror, drying her hair with a calm, gentle smile on her lips. The room smelled like jasmine—warm and soothing.
He stepped closer. "Meilin..." he said quietly. "Do you want me to help you?"
Su Meilin jolted in her chair, not expecting him to suddenly appear beside her.
"Ugh! I thought I was going to have a heart attack!" she sighed, hand clutching her chest.
"But... I don't mind if you want to help." She handed him the hairdryer with a small smile.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you," Zhao Yiming said as he took the hairdryer, gently bringing it close to her hair.
Warm air blew gently through the strands as he ran his fingers through them with surprising gentleness.
"It's fine..." she murmured, closing her eyes slightly, enjoying his touch.
"You're really good with your hands, huh?"
"Oh yeah," he replied casually. "I used to like fixing stuff—old radios, TVs, refrigerators... you name it."
She burst into a laugh. "Oh my, that's not what I meant!"
Zhao Yiming furrowed his brows, confused for a moment, then blinked.
Su Meilin laughed even harder at his clueless expression, the tension easing as they continued their small talk with smiles on their faces.
After a few minutes, her hair was dry. She stood up and stretched.
"Thanks for the help." She gave him a nod. "Now sit down—your turn. I'll cut your hair."
"Oh, okay."
He sat in the chair as she gathered scissors, a clipper, and other tools from a nearby drawer.
She returned, plugged in the clipper, then draped a cloth over his shoulders.
"You sure have all the proper tools for cutting a man's hair," he noted.
"In the past, my mother used to cut my father's hair," Meilin said quietly. "So I thought... maybe if I had these, I could get closer to my husband too."
She began snipping at his long hair, trimming it bit by bit with practiced hands.
"That bastard rejected it, didn't he?" Zhao Yiming muttered.
Meilin paused, then nodded slowly. "Yeah... this clipper's basically brand new. First time using it."
Zhao Yiming swallowed. For a second, he worried she might mess up—but the way her eyes lit up with excitement... he decided to just trust her.
"You don't have to worry," she said softly as if reading his thoughts.
"I used to do this for my younger brother. Even in the village, he was so picky with his hairstyles. Always brought me magazine cutouts to copy."
She began working on a clean fade, thinning the sides with the clipper. The precision and confidence in her movements surprised him.
"I can see that, you worked like a professional!Should've opened a small shop—people would line up."
He let out a soft grunt. "Your husband... he didn't know what he had."
Her heart fluttered at his words. Her chest felt tight, but in a good way—for once, someone appreciated her, genuinely. It made her want to cry and laugh at the same time.
Her cheeks flushed. "Alright, all done."
She gave his damp hair a final touch, styling it with her fingers before removing the cloth draped over him.
Zhao Yiming turned to the mirror and blinked.
"Eh...? Wah, I look quite dashing!" he exclaimed, genuinely impressed.
He didn't know what style young men wore nowadays, but damn—he looked sharp.
She'd left the front slightly longer for easy styling, while the sides and back were faded and clean, giving him a fresh, modern look.
"You really worked magic," he said, standing up and checking his reflection from every angle.
"I can't believe I turned this handsome! You are really amazing at this Meilin!"
Su Meilin smiled softly, her heart warm. But it also reminded her once again that her husband had always looked down on her—talking like she was just some accessory, a dumb village girl.
Her chest tightened, the ache of frustration rising. A part of her wanted to fight back, to reclaim something—anything—because she knew she deserved better.
So, without thinking too much, she hugged Zhao Yiming tightly from behind and whispered:
"Yiming... why don't we continue our relationship?"
She paused. "I think I like you... Don't you feel the same too?"
Zhao Yiming froze, completely stunned, not knowing what to say—until the system chimed in with a sudden notification:
