I Try To Enjoy My Life But This Woman Keep Calling Me Villain-Chapter 123: Sea Serpent Point
Seven days is how long it takes for King Luzia to prepare our ship, supplies, and guard for our trip.
It will also take us another four days to arrive in the Sea Serpent Point city, where the ship is ready to take us to the Western Continent.
"What does Sea Serpent Point look like, Hilda?"
I cannot help but ask as we get closer to the city. I can already see them in the distance.
"Sea Serpent Point, huh? It has been a while. I remember it was a busy city full of life because many merchants from the Western and even Northern Continent came to trade their goods or buy something from us."
The Luzia kingdom did not have a lot of goods to trade, but they created leather and fur traders from their mountain animals like Mountain Goat and Rocky Bull. The leather is flexible and offers great protection, while the fur is great for keeping oneself warm.
They are great goods for the Northern merchants. The leather can be sold to the army, while the fur can be sold to the commoner to keep their body warm.
"Sea Serpent Point has incredible seafood. I once tried their local specialty called Grilled Squid. They use a secret sauce that they made using the aquatic plant. Other than their food, they also have a great view of the sunset. Seeing the sun shining on the vast ocean is something you cannot beat. The orange light getting reflected by the ocean is something you want to see every day."
I nod and say.
"That sounds great. I cannot wait to get into this city."
And we did not need to wait for too long. We arrived at the Sea Serpent Point after another hour of riding. When we arrive, I can see a group of people already waiting for us. However, what caught my attention was the three people wearing expensive-looking clothes. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢
When we are getting out of the carriage, a middle-aged man walks forward and says,
"Welcome to the Sea Serpent Point, Princess and honored guest."
The man bows at Hilda for a few seconds before raising his head.
"Lord Hayur, let me introduce you to Lord Gwyndolin Alexander Cunningham and my fiance."
I walk forward and shake the man’s hand. He nods and waits for Hilda to continue.
"Next to him is Silvanna Cunningham nee Baxter, my soon-to-be Wife Sister, and Lady Cunningham."
Lord Hayur gently takes Silva’s hand and kisses it.
"I hope my father’s letter arrived and you already know the reason why we are here."
"To go to the Western Continent and have an adventure for a year."
Right. I almost forgot about the time limit my father gave me. I only have a year to explore the world before I return home and learn how to take care of the Cunningham Territory.
"Yup. How is the ship? Can we see it?"
"Of course, princess. We can see them. However, I think we should go to the castle first because I know that you guys are famished. I already prepared a feast in the castle."
"Very well. Please lead the way."
We return back to the carriage and go to the castle at the end of the city.

I wiped my mouth and let the servant start to take away the empty plate, fork, spoon, and knife back to the kitchen. The food is great, especially the seafood. Hilda is not lying when she says that the food is great in this city.
I look to the side and see both Jonathan and Jullian release a content sigh. Just like Jullian, Jonathan started to become a foodie. He likes to try new food and likes to eat a lot of food. I’m glad that he did not develop the same insane training behavior as Jullian.
"Lord Gwyndolin."
"Hmmm? Yes, Lord Hayur?"
"Can I ask a couple of questions?"
"Of course. Ask away, Lord Hayur."
"Can I ask what kind of plan you have for this trip?"
I nod and say.
"I plan on exploring the kingdom we are about to go to and experience their culture and food, and maybe collect some of the plants they have that we did not have. I just hope they will sell me their medical herbs so I can develop new potions."
Lord Hayur looked at me in confusion before saying.
"You can use your title to buy any plants, my lord."
"What? What do you mean?"
"The title of Grandmaster from the Gipan Kingdom carries power, even when you are on another continent, you know?"
"Really?"
"Yes. The Gipan kingdom might not be the strongest, the largest, or even the most developed kingdom in the world, but your kingdom is rather powerful, you know? You might not know it because Cunningham County is a landlocked territory, and you didn’t know about it."
"Know about what?"
"That your kingdom is known for its merchants and seafaring people. Do you know that the Gipan Kingdom is the reason why the sea in this part of the world is relatively safe from pirates? That is because of your kingdom’s marine troops. They are tough and did not want to get involved with politics as it is their duty to protect the sea."
This is the first time I have heard about this. I look at Silva, and by the look of it, this is also the first time she hears about it.
"By the look of it, you guys did not know about it, huh? Well, they are famous for their might in the open sea and river. They are not the type who want to get involved with politics and only stay in their territory, just like how your people keep themselves together and not get involved in the northern nobles."
"I see. So we have three factions instead of one, huh?"
"You can say that. The Marine Faction, the Northern Nobles, and the Southern Nobles."
I wonder why no country wants to take advantage of this situation. Three factions in one kingdom will result in war, be it from the internal affair or from the outside, as the other kingdoms see that we are too weak to retaliate against them.
"Because they are afraid of the Marine Faction and the Southern Nobles, my lord."
"I beg your pardon?"
"You were saying them out loud, and I said that it was because they are afraid of the Marine Faction and the Southern Nobles."
"Why? I understand why they are afraid of the Marine Faction because they are a beast in the sea if what you said is true."
Lord Hayur looks at me in shock and starts to laugh. I look at him in confusion and wait for him to stop. After a few seconds of laughing, Lord Hayur stops laughing and says.
"You are truly something special, my lord. You are truly underestimating the Southern Nobles’ power in this part of the continent, my lord. Your people are the ones holding the line between the Gipan and any Kingdom who dare to challenge your kingdom. Even our Kingdom failed when we tried to conquer some of your kingdoms. Do you know how one holds the line for ten years? The Southern Nobles."
"I see. We always thought that it was a normal thing to do because it was our duty and nothing else."
Silva, Sonia, Jonathan, and Jullian nodded alongside me, agreeing with me.
"And that is why I respect you and your people. Your people are truly the most honorable people I can think of. I don’t want to sound presumptuous, but please be proud of what your ancestors have done. You guys are amazing people, hold your head high and be proud of what your ancestors have done in the past."
"Of course we will."
"Good. Anyway, your Grandmaster title will be useful in the Verlagan Kingdom because they know how important the people holding the title of Grandmaster are to your kingdom. One of the Grandmasters in the past helped their kingdom by killing a dragon that terrorized their kingdom."
"I see."
"Yup. So asking for a rare and important medical herb will be an easy request for you to ask. Of course, you still need to pay, but you will get a massive discount from them."
"Do you know which city I should visit for the medical herbs?"
Lord Hayur rubs his chin for a few seconds before saying.
"The port city where you will be docked should be the perfect place for that. It was a port and trading city, after all. You can also ask the people in that area for information. You can go to the merchant guild in that city. They are a group of people who maintain the flow of goods into their kingdom. They are an official worker that directly works under their king’s name."
"I will do that."
Lord Hayur nods his head and gets up. He smiles at us and says,
"With our belly full, let’s go and see the ship."
