I Reincarnated as the World's Worst Healer-Chapter 51: Dead Elf Makes Good Fertilizer (2)
Luther’s face twisted in shock as he watched Ebony use a healing spell on herself.
"How the hell did you do that? You’re a damn Healer, you’re only supposed to be able to heal others," the dark elf said, frowning like a child whose game rules had just been changed.
"Let’s just say the rules decided to ignore me," Ebony replied in a sarcastic tone before lifting her heavy shield, ready for battle.
At that moment Luther hesitated to continue his attack, thinking quickly as he tried to analyze his chances of victory.
"(If that bitch can heal herself, this changes everything... Even if I manage to stab those two, they’ll just keep healing over and over again, a battle of endurance would be useless... Damn brat!... I have to get out of here)"
The dark elf cautiously took a step back without taking his eyes off the pair, this did not go unnoticed by Ebony, who with a confident smile stepped forward.
"And what’s with that face, old man? Are you so scared you’re about to run? Come on, stay and play with the kids, I promise we’ll give you some candy when we’re done," the blonde girl said with irony before striking her shield with her fist, challenging her enemy.
"(I guess this is good... If the bastard decides to run, that’d be the best outcome for everyone, we still don’t know all his cards, and judging by the magic he’s giving off, I’m sure he’s still holding a few... We just need to keep the illusion going)"
Lucian thought as he stepped forward with a cold, calculating gaze, brandishing the purple sword overflowing with dark magic that had once belonged to Luther.
Seeing the pair approach, the dark elf decided to flee, beginning to step back with his face twisted in rage, however when he was about to turn and run, something changed.
Lucian coughed once without meaning to, just once, a single drop of blood fell from his mouth onto the ground, and that was enough.
"(Wait... The elf isn’t healed... That boy isn’t healed!... That means...) You... Ha... Hahahahaha!" Luther began to laugh while holding the silver sword that had once been Lucian’s.
"You insolent little girl... You can’t heal your friend, can you?" Luther asked with a wide grin, completely delighted by the irony.
Ebony did not respond, she chose to stay silent, but her confident smile vanished instantly.
At that moment Luther, as his blood spilled onto the ground from his wounds, began to laugh loudly and with satisfaction.
Lucian and Ebony thought to take advantage of that opening and launched their attack.
But at that instant, just a few meters away from receiving their strike, Luther decided to reveal his final card, he removed the bandage from his eyes.
"I’ll make you watch as I kill your friend so slowly you’ll wish you’d never healed yourself..." Luther said, revealing his completely purple eyes as magic poured from them like a violent, shining current filled with hatred. 𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮

Instantly a surge of magic burst from his body, it was so powerful that the gust of wind stopped the pair’s advance.
The dark elf’s body began to heal at high speed as magic penetrated every fiber of his being, intertwining each strand of flesh and sealing his wounds.
In that moment Luther looked at the companions who watched every second without losing sight of his movements, his body now whole again.
That spell rebuilt his body at the cost of nearly half his magic, so without wasting another second Luther lunged at Lucian.
The silver blade went straight for the green-haired boy’s neck, but using the violet sword he managed to block the attack despite the enemy’s incredible speed.
Ebony barely managed to follow the strike with her eyes, but trying to help she attempted to slam the black-haired elf with her heavy shield, a useless attempt.
With his body healed Luther was far too fast, dodging the blow and stepping back before beginning to chant a spell in the dead tongue.
However this time it would not be so easy, the twins who had been out of combat from the pain of being poisoned by his dark magic appeared behind the dark elf.
Both, using their bone daggers, tried to attack him despite the intense pain in their bodies that slowed their speed.
"Son of a bitch! Damn kids!" Luther shouted, unable to finish the spell, forced to defend himself with the sword in his hand.
With one motion he tried to stab one of them, but his brother swiftly stepped into the path, taking the attack that pierced through his body.
"How touching... But just die already and stop getting in my way!" Luther shouted with a look of disgust at the sight.
But because of that strike he turned his back on the pair, and Lucian, the faster of the two, decided to seize the moment.
With one movement he closed the distance to his enemy, gripping the violet sword as he attempted to stab the dark elf.
Luther tried to defend himself, but the young hunter grabbed his arm with all his strength, preventing him from pulling the sword free from his own body.
Enraged and cornered, Luther used his dark magic, spending what little energy he had left, turning into black smoke.
The violet sword failed to pierce its target as the intangible smoke began to rise into the sky.
That spell required a direction of movement, and the sky was where it went, taking form until Luther returned in flesh and blood, hovering over the battlefield.
"You worthless brats! Forget it, I’m ending this right now, I don’t care if this forest withers forever," Luther said before clapping his hands together forcefully while chanting a spell in the dead tongue.
However the earth began to tremble and the ground started to move like water, giving way to the great black serpent, lady of the lake.
That creature, as wide as a river, burst from the earth and lunged its bite directly at the dark elf.
In the middle of his fall Luther could not dodge the attack, so abandoning his spell he received the bite, using his arms to hold the serpent’s jaws apart to keep it from swallowing him.
"Damned creature! If you want to eat a predator superior to you, you better bring something better than a basic attack like this, idiot!" Luther shouted as he strained against the crushing force of the creature’s jaws.
But in that moment, when his gaze drifted into the depths of the lake lord’s throat, into that darkness waiting to receive him, he saw a reddish flash, a brief electrifying spark.
"What the hell... You... You were dead!" Luther shouted as he felt the magical presence.
From the deepest, darkest part of the serpent a reddish lightning bolt shot forward at high speed, it was Kaly, the leader of the hunters who had been devoured by the serpent.
With broken bones and the last of her strength, the white-haired woman traveled through the darkness until she reached the defenseless dark elf, landing a single punch charged with red lightning like blood.
"Boo," the girl said with a satisfied smile.
