I Only Wanted A Class In The Apocalypse-Chapter 1835: Moth’s Huge Appetite!
"I can tell you have many of them," Moth finally pointed towards the Soulers Hye brought with, "and you can repeat that tactic you showed before, against ships from the outer universe, right?"
"Hmm, interesting remark," Hye didn't positively answer Moth; instead, he bought time to rethink the Hescos offer. It seemed they tried to repeat his strategy using Soulers. Of course, the number of Soulers they used was very few, very scarce compared to what Hye already demonstrated in that battle.
Realising this was the secret behind Hye's impressive tactic, the Hescos' thoughts escalated from here towards the grand fleet of ships he had in that battle. It was clear he used the same tactic to hijack these ships and control them.
The presence of outer universe ships in the universe wasn't common, but it wasn't rare. Many forces had already amassed lots of ships from their long adventures and battles on the outer battlefield. Yet all of them shared a few things in common!
One of those was the inability to properly use these ships to their fullest potential! As for the second common feature in these captured ships, they were all damaged and not entirely intact!
That was thanks to the way these forces captured these ships! No matter how dire the situation was, enemies from the other universe rarely surrendered! Even if they were surrounded, even if they were about to die, they never showed signs of surrender!
That meant all of the captured ships had to be shot down. And that also meant the ships each force had experienced repairs from this universe's scientists, whom they were still unclear about lots of secrets and technologies used in the outer universe.
So no matter how they tried, there wasn't a single force that had enough intact ships to form even a small fleet! At the same time, as the ships were broken, they couldn't showcase their most fearsome abilities!
That was where Hye came into the picture! He had a way to capture these ships without the need to get shot down! He was the only person in the universe who could take down entire fleets from the outer battlefields, without suffering a single damage to any ship!
That was never heard of before! It even went against logic! Any race from the universe would place their hopes on the brilliant scientists, hoping they would crack some groundshaking discoveries and get to know how the outer universe ships were designed and made.
Yet the Hescos decided to take a shortcut, planning to rely on Hye to provide them with an endless supply of outer universe ships that they could instantly use.
Hye realised all this, and instantly sucked a cold breath of air! "You… You have a very big appetite!"
"Hahaha, now we are talking," Moth knew Hye accepted his remark without objection. If Hye claimed he couldn't do it, he wouldn't believe the human. Moth was sure Hye could easily repeat his tactic against the outer universe's ships, as he had just come from testing this theory!
He couldn't risk going to the outer battlefield, as it would take a long time to go there, plus it was always a dangerous trip. So he had to test it on one of the outer universe's ships they had. He even paid a price to borrow the most perfect ship under the Hescos' control, one that belonged to a greedy leader, and tested his theory over an almost perfectly defensive shielded ship!
And it worked! So Moth was speaking with absolute trust and confidence, knowing what this human was capable of!
"I don't get what the two of you are talking about!" Watching the two exchange such bizarre words, and ending up laughing and smiling, made Olana speechless. She couldn't help but lament her laziness in not fully researching everything about Hye, or else she would have understood what the two were speaking about.
"That's why I didn't want an outsider," Moth acted as if he totally forgot about her presence, "we can't proceed in our dealings with her presence. It's either you kick her away, or kill her!"
"What the heck?!!" Olana couldn't help but stand up; even her seat fell from her sudden move. 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶
"Neither," acting as if he didn't see her standing in such a way, Hye simply said, "I'll do as I said before, I'll take her home with me."
"And you say I'm the one with a big appetite? Come on! Hahaha!" Moth was very amused by how Hye was reacting towards Olana. He was very curious to see how Hye would really do in this situation, when his ship would be blocked with tons of the resort's special forces. Not even he would dare to claim he would get out unscathed from such an assault and pursuit!
Yet for a reason, Hye looked as if he had a way to slip away from here.
"Just ignore her," Hye didn't even give Olana a single glance, "let's speak for real, you want me to provide you with lots of outer universe ships, right?"
"Not only that," Moth knew Hye accepted such an offer, and so he grew bolder and aimed for a higher goal, "I want you to help us win wars out there!"
"Like…" Hye didn't jump to conclusions, as he knew Moth was speaking about situations he had never witnessed so far.
"Supporting us with ships is one thing, but we also need warriors with strong cultivation bases…"
"I'll need to stop you here," Hye couldn't believe how greedy the Hescos were to covet his hard earned warriors with cultivation bases, "you know it's not an issue of resources only, but also time, when speaking about such a type of warriors!"
"I know," Moth felt like he was a bit rash in proposing this deal, yet he knew there was no point in retreating after exposing his card, "we know how hard it is, or else a mighty race like us won't have trouble creating warriors with high cultivation bases. The issue is…"
