I Only Want To Kill-Chapter 140: Thunder Ascended God

The sky is humming an ancient lullaby that most have forgotten. The trees are shaking in fear of the imposters that are among them. The ground is grey and dying. It has always been dying, but something kept it alive all this time.

The digitized pixels appear out of thin air, and they quickly expand into the length of a human. When they dissipate, Blaze is now visible in this vast, dark woods.

It is also daytime in the Void. But the sun is faded and blurry. It seems as if this sun was only a mere fabrication compared to the sun back in the real world.

Blaze can feel the pull of Gate of Heaven being cut off. The System has successfully hidden him from the all-powerful and all-knowing Cosmic Order. Well, to be fair, the all-knowing part may not be so true since the System was able to snatch Blaze from their grasp.

Blaze does not know the true reason why the System did what it did. But if he got the choice, he would have done exactly what it did. He doesn’t know much about this Cosmic Order other than they are the ones who are responsible for the mechanism and flow of the entire universe.

He doesn’t know if they are bad, good, or ugly. And he definitely doesn’t want to give his fate to some strangers, even though they can very well be the creators of his world.

Hell, from what he learned from the True Sun Cult, not all gods are what we thought of them as. They can very well be a cunning cutthroat that stumbled into godhood.

He can trust no one, and he definitely can trust no god.

Blaze tries to stand up. But then, the metamorphosis continues.

The power of the Gate of Heaven has paused his power evolution. But now that it is no longer here, the total concentration power of an A-rank evolving to an S-rank explodes. Literally.

Electricity bursts out under Blaze’s pores. Tiny lightning bolts cover him. Their yellow shade becomes brighter and sharper.

All the muscles on his body spasm and rearrange themselves on a molecular level. Those tiny lightning bolts seep into his skin and get absorbed by his tissues and cells.

The System shows up, but Blaze has no mind to even give it a little bit of attention. His body is resistant to electricity. But now, it feels like it wants to explode from all the power it is giving him. His entire body trembles, fighting for control against the unpredictable flow of energy.

His veins light up in blue. In turn, the yellow shade of the electricity slowly turned to a mix of bright blue and white. His two lungs are outlined by the energy force, and then, like hungry beasts, they start to devour and absorb the changing electricity.

What comes around goes around. When Focus Breath evolved into A-rank, Thunder Force affected it and smacked it out of its original evolution line. Now when Thunder Force tries to evolve, the same thing happens.

A bright blue aura with a white outline envelops Blaze. The powerful gust produced by this aura blows everything around away. The dead and skinny trees in the area all lean away. It is as if they too are conscious, and they are afraid of whatever is birthing inside this layer of the Void.

The white aura moves for the first time. It has never moved before, only sticking to Blaze’s body. It turns into a vortex and spins around Blaze in a circular motion.

This aura is also being absorbed by his body. This is not the ordinary Aura, nor the Lightning version. It is also not the Thunder Ascension or the more vicious Violent Thunder Ascension. This is entirely new.

All the pain suddenly goes away, and all the struggle disappears with it. Blaze now knows exactly what is happening, and he knows what needs to be done. His body no longer reacts to the electricity, and all his cells and tissues are perfectly circulating the energy in the most efficient way.

Blaze takes a deep breath, sucking all the drifting lightning bolts that are not being consumed by his body. They all go inside Blaze’s lungs and turn into the pure, godlike aura that is spinning around him.

This aura changes Blaze in a way he cannot imagine. Both physically and mentally.

The third mark of myth is finally created. In the middle of his forehead, a six-winged blue star with the shape of a snowflake is manifested.

When it materializes completely, in the middle of the vast empty space in the real world, one giant explosion erupts. Pure lightning energy escapes from the crevices inside the fabric of the universe and converges into the explosion. A black hole is created, sucking in every physical matter and energy in the surrounding area. Then it disappears, replacing it is a white hole that throws up a freshly birthed star.

The star is made of electricity and adjacent similar types of energy. It is a blue star that shines so bright beings millions of light years away can see it.

"Why was the Gate of Heaven interrupted?" In the center of the universe, a warrior in white is sitting down before the Gate of Heaven, tapping his fingers on his jaw and thinking on the event that just happened not long ago.

And then he feels it. The birth of an entirely new god.

The warrior stands up to see in that direction. His eyes pierce through the millions of light-year distance in space to see the new blue star.

All the gods that are enjoying themselves inside the Cosmic Order also lift their heads up. They can all feel it. A new god is born.

But who? They don’t know any mortals in the known kingdoms that are on the verge of divinity. They all have the same question in mind. Who is this new god, and where do they come from?

Back in the Woods, Blaze’s metamorphosis is almost finished. He can feel that his body has become greatly stronger, faster, and more resilient. Every aspect of the body was enhanced.

This can be confirmed numerically by checking the physical attributes.

Sixty points in total. That is almost equal to the power of the normal Ascension. Now he can move real fast even without holding his breath.

But these attributes are only the beginning. The metamorphosis is coming to an end, and only one last thing is needed to complete everything.

The Necrosis Destruction Wand. It was its lightning bolts that caused this power to reach A-rank. One can even say that it holds the most pivotal role in the birth of this new myth and this new god.

The wand automatically exits Blaze’s inventory and stabs itself into the center of Blaze’s chest. It, too, is going through a change.

The black bark-like surface turns brighter and brighter until it looks like white birch wood. The bone tip of the wand absorbs Blaze’s electrical energy and divine energy to create a blue jewel.

The wand takes itself out of Blaze’s chest. On its tip now lies a clear blue crystal that emanates light nonstop. Blaze grabs at what is now named the Blue Bolt. It is still the Destruction Wand that he knows so well, only now it is bound to him.
