His powerful attack not only killed a Death Knight, but also drove away the rest of the undead that were lurking nearby. Finally, the miners were able to start running through the tunnel.

But the pain was terrifying, Edward couldn’t take it anymore and his body fell to the ground on his knees as the last miner began to run down the tunnel... Lander was by his side, Arnold and Aurora looked at him with concern from a distance as they ran towards him.

His skeletal face contorted with hatred when he saw that part of his body was missing. "Damn human... time to die." An attack formed in his hand and grew until it rested on his head. It looked like magic, but it wasn’t fire. It was dark black and carried with it a terrifying energy of death.

A second was enough to launch it at Edward; a single second was enough to reach him. Edward spat blood before it could reach him, his ability to move lost when the "Shared Ignition" magic was deactivated.

"EDDDD!" Aurora roared, using all her power to mobilize the wind around the room to stop the attack... she managed to do so for milliseconds, but her speed was not high enough to stand in front of Edward as she had wanted.

Even so, Arnold had managed to arrive, with the time Aurora had bought him.

He summoned his beast, that humanoid wolf materialized between the black ball and Edward. Behind him Arnold appeared, trying to push him away.

He writhed on the ground, his screams slowly fading away until he lay motionless in a strange position...

Edward stared at him, shocked. His body trembled. His mind went blank, and for a moment, he didn’t know what to do.

Even Arnold was paralyzed, unsure how to react.
