I have an infinite number of shikigami-Chapter 650 - 210.Final Chapter_3
After a quick wash, she changed into casual clothes and went out.
At the end of the year, every commercial district was so crowded that it was difficult to move.
Today was the last day of business, and all the shopkeepers were loudly soliciting customers. Since most people were now aware of the mythical creatures, many shops also took the opportunity to launch related products.
Kawashima Miki roughly made a list.
There were many things to buy, from New Year’s soba noodles, ingredients for chawanmushi, to rice cakes and herring roe, all kinds of food, and even more household items. She went store to store, buying the items and letting Dark Crow transport them back and forth.
During the three months without Fujiwara Reya, the Dark Crow was her outlet for venting.
To this, Gouzi had no objections at all.
The green trees lining the streets radiated a golden yellow glow. Upon closer inspection, some had already started to shed leaves, with small groups of people strolling among the fallen leaves.
Another year has passed.
Oh right, I still have to buy pine decorations and straw ropes.
Kawashima remembered when she reached an outdoor shop specializing in traditional New Year items, buying straw ropes and small pine decorations.
"Do you want to buy so much?" the shop assistant asked in surprise.
"My home is a very, very big family," Kawashima Miki said proudly.
Halfway through her shopping, Yukino Ritsuko called and asked her to hurry back.
Kawashima Miki drove back to Asakusa Shrine, full of determination.
It was lively at the entrance, with many people gathering in front of the torii gate to take pictures. She parked the car and walked up the approach. Through the bustling crowd, she vaguely saw a pair of pristine white wings and that face she had longed for day and night.
Kawashima Miki almost forgot to breathe.
The sun was bright, the sky was blue, and the young Heavenly Dog squeezed through the crowd.
He stood right in front of the torii gate, hands in his pockets, smiling and saying, "Happy New Year, my dear Mrs. Miki."
In the warm winter sun, his handsome and delicate face, with an affectionate and playful smile... Kawashima Miki marched up with a stern face and stepped on his foot in front of countless tourists, "You still remember the way home?"
In response to his wife’s questioning, Fujiwara Reya opened his arms and pulled her into a hug.
"No way!" Kawashima Miki scolded softly.
"Why not?"
Fujiwara Reya tightened his embrace.
Despite saying no, Kawashima Miki immediately melted into his arms.
Surrounding tourists pointed their cameras at them; the hug between the young Great Tengu and the Heavenly Dog’s wife was a rare sight indeed. Especially since this was his first appearance after the Tokyo crisis three months ago.
"Kiss her!"
A mischievous spectator loudly teased him to give up his first on-screen kiss.
Kawashima Miki’s trembling small hand gently grasped her husband’s collar, feeling the familiar embrace and immersing herself in the joy of reunion.
Fujiwara Reya lowered his head, seeking her lips.
Camera flashes went off one after another.
Kawashima Miki suddenly awoke, quickly breaking away from his embrace.
But Fujiwara Reya wouldn’t allow it, and she obediently returned to his arms, letting him continue kissing her.
Today, she wore a white shirt and a black jacket. Her bottom was a skirt of the same color, and she carried a black leather bag in her right hand, looking quite fashionable.
"Truly charming," he said.
"Stop talking nonsense..."
"I’ve been waiting for you at the door since I got home."
"I thought you were sold by the fox spirit, forgetting your way back home!"
"Who would be willing to give up on Mrs. Miki?" Fujiwara Reya grasped her hand.
Kawashima Miki’s little hand was a bit cold, perhaps from being blown by the wind for too long.
Resting her face on his chest, Kawashima Miki slightly closed her eyes... snuggling up tightly in front of many tourists, tenderly and lovingly displaying their affection.
Returning to the inner courtyard of Asakusa Shrine, the atmosphere suddenly quieted down.
Entering the living room, the TV was on, and Yukino Ritsuko, wearing a blue sweater, was vacuuming. The shelves in the room, and the contents of the cabinets seemed to be overturned, with boxes and beer bottles everywhere.
The ingredients brought back by Dark Crow were piled at the kitchen door.
Seeing him back, Yukino Ritsuko naturally said, "Hey, move this box to the storage room."
"Right away!"
Fujiwara Reya began working.
Kawashima Miki walked into the kitchen, organizing the food into the refrigerator.
After placing the box in the right place and returning to the living room, Fujiwara Reya was tasked with taking out the trash, then wiping the tables, bookshelves, and floors. As he wiped the floor, Yukino Ritsuko also took a towel to help him.
"Did you miss me, Riho?" he blinked and asked.
"What would I miss you for?" Yukino Ritsuko twisted the towel, smiling slightly, "The silly woman is no longer silly, living just fine without you."
"Of course, to do housework with you," said Fujiwara Reya, wrapping his arms around her waist, resting his chin on her shoulder, gazing at her profile, "Mrs. Snow Woman is simply too charming."
Yukino Ritsuko’s smile even reached her eyes.
"This is the first New Year we are spending together," she said with a smile, "What did you usually eat during New Year? Let me prepare something."
"Just ordinary dishes."
"Kanto-style?"
"Anything is fine, cook whatever you want," Fujiwara Reya inhaled her refreshing scent, "After all, your husband is the best in the world; he won’t be poisoned by you."
Yukino Ritsuko’s face flushed slightly, unable to resist raising her fists and playfully hitting him a few times.
"Reya, what’s for lunch?"
"Reya, why isn’t my room next to yours?"
Two voices nearly spoke at the same time.
Mrs. Miki at the kitchen door and Tama at the stairway looked at each other.
