I FOUND A DOOR TO TENSURA AND BECAME BROKEN IN THE REAL WORLD TOO-Chapter 38: A Month with Milim: Power, Bond
Chapter 38 - A Month with Milim: Power, Bond
The sun dipped below the jagged horizon, casting an amber glow over the shattered landscape.
The once-proud mountain range that surrounded Milim's kingdom was now reduced to dust and craters, with only a few crumbling peaks left standing.
The scorched earth hissed softly as the last remnants of our magic clashed against the atmosphere, creating faint streaks of ethereal lightning that crackled in the distance.
Milim and I stood on the charred remains of what was once a mountain, both heaving slightly, our bodies bruised and bloodied, but our faces splitting into wild grins.
We were both filthy, scarred, and completely worn out—
But neither of us wanted the fight to end.
Milim, leaning on Dragon Fang, her clothes tattered, let out a breathy chuckle, her sharp canines glinting in the dim light.
Her magenta hair was wild, drenched in sweat, sticking to her forehead.
"Hehehe... you're insane, Yuuya..." she panted, wiping the blood from her lip with the back of her hand.
Her crimson eyes sparkled with exhilaration, despite her exhaustion.
"That was the most fun I've had in centuries!"
I laughed breathlessly, stretching my sore shoulders.
My black Sovereign Mantle flickered around me, slowly dissipating, as I lowered my power output.
"Hah... is that all you've got?" I teased, flashing a cocky grin.
"I was just getting warmed up."
Milim's eyes gleamed with fiery excitement.
She stabbed her sword into the ground, creating a faint crackle of energy, and leaned toward me with a mischievous smirk.
"Oh-ho? You're looking down on me, huh?" she snorted.
"Careful, Yuuya. You might make me fall for you."
I arched an eyebrow, playing along.
"Oh? Is that all it takes?" I said with a sly grin.
"I should've tried harder."
She let out a boisterous laugh, her voice echoing across the ruined battlefield.
"Hahahaha! I like you, Yuuya! You're even cockier than I am!"
Her gaze softened slightly, and she clapped me hard on the back, nearly making me stumble.
"Come on! Let's go feast! You're cooking tonight!"
We teleported back to her castle, both of us exhausted but elated, with soot-covered faces and tattered clothes.
The castle guards and servants, who had grown accustomed to our destructive sparring, greeted us with awed and relieved expressions.
The kingdom had learned to reinforce their structures and erect magical barriers just to keep the shockwaves of our battles from reaching them.
Midray was waiting for us at the entrance, his arms crossed and his expression deadpan, but his eyes betrayed his disbelief.
He glanced at the two of us, noting our disheveled appearances.
"Still alive, huh?" he muttered sarcastically, but I could see the faint trace of a smile.
"You two might as well tear the entire continent apart next time."
Milim grinned proudly, slapping Midray on the back with enough force to rattle his armor.
"Hahaha! You should've seen us! We wrecked EVERYTHING!" she boasted.
"Yuuya even kicked me through four mountains!"
Midray's eyebrow twitched slightly.
"You sound... too happy about that."
I smirked, my arms crossed.
"She took it like a champ, though."
Milim beamed, flashing me a wide grin.
"Damn right, I did!"
I suddenly snapped my fingers, teleporting back to my personal storage and summoning a plethora of ingredients from my old world—
Fresh wagyu beef, lobster, seasoned chicken, exotic spices, and a variety of rare herbs and vegetables.
I laid them out before us, and the servants' eyes widened at the divine assortment of food.
Milim's eyes glittered with joy as she spotted the cakes and sweets I brought.
She practically hovered over the desserts, her mouth watering uncontrollably.
"Yuuya! You're the best! You brought more cake!" she squealed excitedly, hugging me from behind, her arms wrapped tightly around my neck.
Her strength nearly crushed my spine, but I simply chuckled.
"Yeah, yeah. Don't eat it all at once."
I then rolled up my sleeves and activated my Cooking Mastery skill, which I gained during my many adventures.

In minutes, the entire dining hall was filled with the rich aroma of perfectly cooked meat, spices, and buttery sauces.
The chefs and servants stood back, watching in awe as I perfectly seared steaks, sautéed vegetables, and prepared flawlessly balanced sauces with godlike precision.
Milim snuck several spoonfuls of dessert while I cooked, her face covered in frosting, despite Midray's scolding glare.
"Milim-sama... that's your seventh cake!" he scolded, pinching the bridge of his nose.
"Save some room for the actual food!"
Milim, her mouth stuffed, mumbled through the crumbs.
"Mmf! 'Kay!"
We feasted like gods, devouring plates of exotic dishes and downing barrels of fine wine.
Milim sat next to me, kicking her feet happily, her face smeared with frosting and gravy, completely unbothered by decorum.
Midray, for all his stoic nature, seemed to finally relax, occasionally smirking at our antics.
As the night wore on, Milim leaned back, stretching her arms with a contented sigh, her cheeks flushed from the wine.
She glanced over at me, her eyes half-lidded, the firelight dancing in her crimson irises.
"You know, Yuuya... I haven't had this much fun in..." she trailed off, her voice softening slightly,
"... I don't even remember when."
I glanced over, my eyes meeting hers.
Her gaze was sincere, grateful, but also tinged with something deeper.
There was a vulnerability in her expression—something I hadn't seen before.
I offered a small smile, leaning back in my chair.
"Well... I'll have to keep things interesting for you then."
She grinned widely, her usual playful expression returning.
"Hehe! You'd better! Because I'm not letting you go anywhere!"
From that day onward, Milim and I fought almost every day, sometimes for hours, sometimes for days.
Our battles spanned entire regions, turning valleys into raging infernos and mountains into dust.
We pushed each other far beyond our limits, constantly evolving.
Both of us possessed:
Unlimited Magicule Pools → Allowing us to fight for days without tiring.
Adaptive Growth Skills → Every clash made us faster, stronger, and more dangerous.
Sovereign Conqueror & Dragon Sovereign → Boosting my reality-warping abilities and Milim's absolute destructive force with every fight.
I absorbed more skills with my Magicule Drainfield, stealing fragments of Milim's power with every strike.
She, in turn, refined her techniques, her movements sharper, faster, and more precise.
As the weeks passed, we were no longer just sparring partners.
We were rivals, equals, and perhaps... something more.
Midray, watching from afar, slowly realized—
The world would never be ready for what Milim Nava and Tenjou Yuuya were becoming.
