I Evolve By Collecting Infinite Spirits-Chapter 62: Levels Galore

On hearing Sin’s words, all three of the robed men paused. After a second, they all exchanged quick glances before bursting out into peals of laughter.

Seeing Sin walk forward, they all jumped in different directions--splitting apart.

The short one jumped to the side, clinging onto a marquee wall with a tight grip.

The lanky one jumped back to the side, and the large man jumped straight backward.

They all drew weapons, the short one a dagger with a bright green blade. The lanky man pulled out a bat covered in sharp red crystals, and the large man in the center put on a pair of brass knuckles that radiated a certain red aura.

Sin stopped.

The short man grinned, "It looks like you have no clue who you’re messing with."

The large man in the back laughed his ass off some more, "Hahaha! Submit to your will huh?"

The lanky man simply shook his head, "Surrender to us, and make our connections with Magnus good. That is all we ask of you. We won’t even treat you like a slave... well at least we weren’t until now, that is." He smirked.

Sin clenched his jaw, slightly pissed.

’Come out, Dra’res... Zydrax.’

Sin stood still and silent as his shadow suddenly enlarged behind him.

All of the three Hunters in front of him looked with increasingly gaped maws and widening eyelids as two giant figures emerged from Sin’s shadow like sentinels from a portal.

Both Dra’res and Zydrax unleashed devastating bloodlusts that instantly engulfed the entire alleyway--thickening the breadth of the air.

"What... the hell?" The short man exclaimed, not having blinked once. He couldn’t believe what he was seeing.

Sin smirked with an unimpressed tone.

’Cowards... their smiles are all wiped off their faces.’ He relished seeing this.

He turned to look at Zydrax, "Oi... don’t destroy the marquees at any cost. I don’t want anyone knowing about you two yet."

Zydrax let out a guttural growl from within that shook the scales around his neck.

He especially needed this order due to his large size and rambunctious attacks.

With that, Sin turned back to face the robed men.

Dra’res instantly broke out into a full-on sprint--beaming toward the lanky man like a savage animal.

Zydrax swam through the air, spiraling multiple times as he arrived before the short man’s face in a mere 2 seconds.

The giant beast opened its gaping maw and chomped down at the short man’s head.

Stunned, the short man didn’t even move.

Just then, the large man in the middle grabbed his subordinate’s leg and pulled him down onto the ground to save him.

Dra’res swung at the lanky man at that moment with a fist filled with sheer strength.

The lanky man attempted to shield his chest with his bat but the crystals around the bat shattered on impact and the ogre’s fist tore through the bat’s body like a bullet going through cake.

The lanky man managed to barely gasp in horror as Dra’res fist came mere inches from blasting a foot-wide hole in his torso.

Dra’res abruptly halted his punch right before it landed--a gust of wind crashing against the lanky man’s body and face instead as it blew the hood off of his head.

The lanky man went pale, his eyes nearly rolling into the back of his head as he stumbled backward.

His entire body shook uncontrollably with fear, having met death for a cup of tea just a mere second earlier.

Zydrax leaped into the air and dove back down at that moment, doing a front flip in the air as he swung down his tail and slammed it like a whip across the backs of both the short and large man.

The two felt their spines snap and organs burst. They were forced face-first into the ground like pancakes. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝙬𝙚𝓫𝒏𝓸𝓿𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝙤𝓶

Sin’s eyes slowly widened, ’A level...’ Awe and amazement filled his mind, a smile growing on his face, ’A level you say? That means even these guys can level up...’ The possibilities that came with that lit up Sin’s eyes like a light bulb.

Dra’res retracted his hand, staring down at the human before saying in a deep voice: "Bow."

The lanky man paused for a second, not understanding what the large beast had just muttered. His mind was preoccupied with the fact that his life had just flashed before his eyes.

As soon as he understood what the ogre said, however, he quickly went down on his knees.

"No..." Dra’res exclaimed, "Not to me, you fool."

The lanky man was now on his knees. With shock and also fear, his eyes slowly gazed over at Sin.

He attempted to stand, but Dra’res interjected: "On your hands and knees..."

The lanky man gulped, his entire body still shaking as he placed his palms on the floor and began to crawl.

He arrived at where Sin was before placing his head at Sin’s feet in a fetal position.

Sin looked down at the lanky man with a nonchalant expression.

Dra’res smiled, walking over to the man.

"P-please..." The lanky man exclaimed as he saw a trickle of blood slowly seep into his wrist sleeves.

He instantly realized that this was from the pool of blood originating from the corpses of his own team members. The horror of the situation had seeped in, traumatizing him deeply. But it wasn’t over yet.

"Don’t kill me." The man finally was able to get out his words.

"Hmhm." Sin chuckled lightly at the thought of that, "It’s a bit too late for that." He took a step back as he saw Dra’res approaching.

’Even if I weren’t to kill him now... that would only be a ticking time bomb placed on my own head.’

The ogre arrived behind the lanky man before raising his foot and slamming it down into the man’s back with a sharp crunch.

The lanky man wheezed in excruciating pain for only a moment before his body went loose like a rag doll.
