"I can’t wait to see him," she murmured, the words slipping out before she could stop them.

Though it had only been a week since their last encounter, Allie already felt an ache of longing for Alex.

No matter how hard she tried, nothing came close to the overwhelming pleasure she had experienced with him.

Even her most desperate attempts at self-satisfaction had fallen short, leaving her more frustrated than fulfilled.

She gestured toward a neatly displayed menu. "Here’s our selection. Feel free to choose whatever you’d like."

"Then I’ll have a cup of tea, please."

"Certainly. Just a moment."

With practiced elegance, she left to prepare my drink. I settled into one of the plush chairs, my eyes scanning the surroundings.

"This must’ve cost a fortune."

The floors gleamed with polished marble, while carefully chosen pieces of art and furniture added to the sophisticated ambiance.

Every detail had been meticulously curated to exude an air of luxury.

As I sipped my tea, which the staff member had returned with moments later, I couldn’t help but feel impressed. She’d even informed me to call for her if I needed anything else before returning to her post.

"This is next-level service."

As the staff member walked away, I briefly considered using the "Lustrous Eyes" skill on her. But even though she was attractive, she didn’t quite compare to Allie. I decided to let it go.

"If I’m going to put in the effort, it might as well be for someone truly exceptional."

After wrapping up my thoughts, I sent Allie a quick message to let her know I had arrived and then took a sip of the tea in front of me.

"Oh, it’s not a glow. It’s sweat reflecting the light," I realized upon closer inspection.

I couldn’t help but admire the level of care these people took in their appearances. Yet none of them stood out enough to pique my interest. I returned to waiting for Allie, tuning them out.

A group of female members eventually emerged, chatting animatedly as they strolled toward the lobby. The moment they noticed me sitting there, their conversation abruptly stopped. They stared, openly and unabashedly.

Feeling their attention shift toward me, I forced myself to act natural. I lowered my gaze to avoid meeting their eyes and focused on finishing my tea. But the lively atmosphere in the lobby had suddenly turned silent, and the quiet was growing awkward.

Finally, one of the women broke the silence, speaking in a low voice to the receptionist.

"Hey, who’s that guy over there?"
