Chapter 82: Launch Reflections

Notification received that the book will be released at midnight tonight, although there might be a slight delay of a few minutes.

Following tradition, let’s chat about this book first.

To be honest, the initial setting of this book was indeed conceived on a whim.

From the moment the setting was developed to writing the first ten thousand words, it may have only taken one day.

The inadequacy in the setting design led to some flaws in the early parts of the book.

During this new book period, besides drafting daily, I also improved the outline and refined the earlier Chapters.

However, the story and pacing will become much tighter after the release.

Now, let’s talk about the issues in the creation process.

Firstly, is the setting handed over to the country.

Well, getting a cheat, the protagonist surviving while developing, and eventually becoming a big shot before revealing everything are already common tropes in these dual-transmigration novels.

But for this book, I thought about handing it over to the country in the beginning. Using the technology, martial path, and resources of the high martial world as a backup to rapidly support the protagonist’s development.

From the beginning to the release, about half a year or more has passed within the novel, and the protagonist has successfully established a foundation.

If it weren’t handed over to the country, the protagonist might still be at the fifth or sixth layer of Qi Refining, troubled by resources, and would inevitably take big risks to earn resources.

But obviously, with resources obtained, the protagonist has the capital to survive and develop in the high martial world as the core, while also doing so in the cultivation realm.

However, this book will not be a survivalist story, only a slightly steady flow. For some key resources, the protagonist will also take some risks to compete.

As for the situation of the high martial world countries or the Martial Arts Palace slicing the protagonist, it will not happen.

Logically speaking, the protagonist is unique, and the country can only rely on the protagonist to explore the cultivation realm, so naturally, they must protect and maintain a good relationship with the protagonist.

From my writing perspective, since I’ve written about interaction, it must be a mutual journey and mutual benefit between the protagonist and the country, I don’t want to write those disgusting plot twists.

Secondly, regarding the comparison between martial path and cultivation.

In the book’s setting: Martial path can be understood as "body cultivation," but with modern technological elements, yet the limit of the martial path is the limit of body cultivation in the cultivation realm.

Therefore, martial path and cultivation each have their pros and cons, and the protagonist practices both to complement each other.

Lastly, about the writing focus of this book.

Initially, I wanted to write more about the high martial world, about the various shocks and changes brought by the protagonist bringing back immortal power.

In the first few dozen Chapters of the novel, everyone can almost see that it’s written about half and half between the high martial world and the cultivation realm.

But during the writing process, I gradually leaned towards backing the protagonist with the high martial world and focusing on exploring the cultivation realm.

That is, explore the cultivation realm as the main section with detailed writing; as for changes to the high martial world, write briefly.

For example, writing about exploring the cultivation realm for five or six Chapters, and the gains brought back, changes to the high martial world for two or three Chapters like this...

To add, many people said the first dozen Chapters before the release felt too cliché.

When I initially wrote them, I didn’t feel this way, but upon reviewing, it indeed seemed somewhat cliché.

Sigh, novel authors have it tough, unlike other industries where one builds new heights on the shoulders of predecessors.

But writing a novel, if one stands on the shoulders of predecessors, there’s a high chance of being criticized for being cliché.

Tried to make some changes, but found those few segments were indeed hard to modify.

After enduring the beginning, everyone might also notice, the segments afterwards are rather novel.

——This is a dividing line——

The above are some words during creation I wanted to share with everyone.

Next up is the post-release update everyone is most anticipating.

Initial estimate, after midnight twelve o’clock, ten Chapters will be released, about twenty thousand words.

Then, at noon, another seven Chapters, close to thirty thousand words.

On release day, 17 Chapters updated.

It’s also the entire accumulated drafts during the new book period...

After release, two Chapters at noon every day, each Chapter five thousand words, totaling over ten thousand words.

(Here explaining, Chapter price is related to word count, five thousand-word Chapters are more than what most authors write in a day...)

Therefore, a request for the first subscription!

The first subscription is too important for a book, this book had eighteen thousand free words period, not a small amount.

Therefore, hope each of you who read this, please click first subscribe, at about ten cents for the first Chapter...

Regarding the subsequent rule for extra updates.

First subscription above 1000, then every additional 100 will add one Chapter.

More monthly tickets will also add updates.

Plus, Alliance Leader will add one Chapter~

The above are my sentiments about the release.

I ask each of you who read this, for the first subscription.

See you at midnight~
