I Can Read People's Comments-Chapter 325: Thugs?
[Chapter 324 Comments.]
[ScarletzWolf: a power that should suit the sprit realm... well, with it being abundant in essence, and the mountain being "perseverance", I could assume the other areas are in some way shaped in that same manner…read more]
[DarkSlayer: Welp, it seems there’s a problem for Haruka to deal with before Sir Theo arrive.]
[Keltic_Spirit: The legendary mountain toll men have appeared! How will Haruka deal with them?]
…
Theo shook his head. "I haven’t visited those areas, so I don’t really know right now. It can be anything. Besides, if I wait for now and find a power that suits me when I really need it, won’t the author turn it into plot armor for me? In other words, I’m basically saving plot armor for future use.
"As for Haruka…" Theo fell silent as he stared at the comment in silence. He was currently in an airplane going to the teleportation gate linked to the Knight Realm.
Since all the teleportations were linked to the modern realm, he simply had to return to this modern realm first before going to another teleportation gate.
That was why he couldn’t do anything when traveling to his next destination.
Theo could do nothing but wait until he landed at the airport.
’I wonder if there is actually a power that can make you wait faster.’ Theo closed his eyes before letting out a sigh. On the one hand, Theo could probably use his Space Element. On the other hand, it would just be considered an illegal entry, which would bring trouble to him.
It felt so long to wait because he was worried that Haruka ended up encountering an even bigger problem.
As soon as he landed on the ground, he didn’t even bother using a taxi or anything. He used his own power to reach the next teleportation gate.
He swiftly finished everything as quickly as possible and reached the other side.
To his surprise, the gate wasn’t closed or anything. If it was raided by bad guys, they would definitely close the gate so that the damage wouldn’t be extended to this world. And the people from this world wouldn’t be harmed.
That was why it looked weird to him.
The answer came right after he entered the portal.
There was a girl surrounded by ten muscular guys who were wearing sleeveless shirts. Their appearances looked like gangsters, but they were actually talking and laughing together with the girl.
"Is that so? You are a good girl. To think that you would prioritize your friends like that. But you should treasure the relationship…" One of them nodded while stroking his mustache.
"En." Haruka nodded before noticing the person that just came through the portal. "Eh? Teacher!"
All ten men raised their heads, trying to see the guy she called a teacher.
"Are you his teacher?" They stood up while straightening their backs as if trying to pressure Theo with their menacing appearance.
Theo looked at them for a second before saying, "Indeed. For what reasons are all ten gentlemen taking care of my student?"
They squinted their eyes. One of them didn’t even care and started commenting, "Are you really her teacher? You are so skinny. Can you even protect her? She is a precious girl."
"Why are you so late? Don’t you know that she has been waiting for you for four hours?"
"How are you so irresponsible as her teacher?"

The ten guys looked like they were reprimanding him even though Theo hadn’t done anything wrong.
He said, "We were supposed to meet 2 hours later though. I was surprised when I learned she came much earlier."
"!!!" All ten guys suddenly froze and turned to Haruka.
"Ehehehe." Haruka embarrassedly rubbed her cheek. "I was too excited because I never thought I could go on a mission together with my teacher… just by myself."
They all dropped their jaws as if they had done something bad without even learning the true circumstances. They never asked, and Haruka didn’t bother to explain, so they were taken aback that the situation wasn’t as they originally thought. Explore hidden tales at novelbuddy
Her teacher actually came earlier because he somehow learned about her arrival, which showed how resourceful he was.
"We are sorry. We’ve misjudged you."
"You are a good and responsible teacher."
"For your students to be so eager to go on a mission together… you must be a highly regarded teacher."
They all changed their words from complaints to praises.
Theo didn’t know what was going on or why they actually came to his student, but he could guess. Most likely, these ten were related to the mission he had in this world.
Haruka politely bowed to them. "I’m sorry for causing misunderstandings."
"No, no."
"It’s our fault for not asking."
"Yes, don’t mind about it!"
"We are the ones who should apologize."
These people had the body of the steel but the heart of the strawberry.
Theo couldn’t help but reply to the comment inwardly, ’We have been trolled by the author. I thought Haruka would be in trouble facing bandits or something… These guys aren’t people like that.’
Theo even imagined himself being surrounded the moment he reached this world or he might have to rescue Haruka before the mission even began.
’It seems that the author will be trolling us here and there just like last time and this one… He will troll us at an unexpected time.’ Theo let out a long sigh.
The ten people panicked, thinking they hadn’t apologized enough.
They were exchanging looks, not knowing what to do.
As if realizing they had misunderstood his reaction, Theo said, "I’m thankful that all of you are watching over my student. We are from the World Union Academy, coming here for business. If it’s not too much, would you like to have dinner with us? We’d love to hear more about this world if you don’t mind."
"Of course, it isn’t a problem if you don’t mind. In fact, we’ll be the ones paying. Don’t worry about it." They nodded. There was no reason to reject it, especially since Theo arrived earlier and Haruka had waited for a while. They both must have been hungry.
Theo smiled. "May I know your names?"
"We are—"
Not again…
