I Become the Strongest with Infinite Skills Level-Chapter 305: Recon Team Reports
Elsewhere, Ethan drank an HP potion to restore the health he had lost.
The wound on his palm dried and healed. He had already delivered his message to the people in Mavelard.
"Is it finished?" Yuna asked. Ethan cleared his throat and nodded.
"What remains is whether they understand my message," Ethan replied. "Gordon is there. He’ll definitely understand."
The blood was cleaned from the main road in front of the town center. As for how they would relocate their city, that would become an important issue for Ashley and Gordon to handle.
Ethan stepped back up onto the northern gate. Laura followed and stood on his right, while Yuna stood on his left.
"What are your next orders, Sir Ethan?" Laura asked.
The man turned to look at her. "I need to know whether Yuna is telling the truth or lying."
"Send the reconnaissance team across the canyon. Monitor the current situation in the tropical region."
Laura cleared her throat and nodded obediently. "I’ll relay the order immediately."
She excused herself and left the top of the northern gate, leaving Ethan alone with Yuna.
"I’m telling the truth. When will you actually trust me?" Yuna asked.
"Trust is expensive and prestigious. It’s not easy for you to earn mine."
"What else do you know about their alliance?" Ethan asked.
Yuna fell silent. Her hand rested against her chin as she recalled what truly happened within the Redemption Sword Alliance.
She explained that alliance members were required to send seventy five percent of their city’s total soldiers to Redemption Sword.
"Arthur said he would be the one to protect all of us. But I didn’t really believe him," Yuna said.
"Are there any regions other than the tropical region or the desert?" Ethan asked.
Yuna nodded. There was indeed another region north of the tropical lands, but according to Arthur’s stories, it was an archipelago.
The cost was extremely high, and the risk of defeat was significant if one attempted to invade the islands.
That was why Arthur preferred to attack the desert region instead.
"It’s possible that the cities inhabiting the northern islands belong to the western plains," Yuna replied.
Ethan nodded. Fundamentally, the Continent of Valor was divided into three distinct regions: the northern archipelago, the central tropical region, and the southern desert region.
Each region had its own ruler. Ethan did not know who ruled the archipelago, but he was certain that Arthur dominated the tropical region, while he himself ruled the desert.
"You’re right. I’m fully convinced that Arthur has pulled all allied cities to transmigrate into the tropical region," Ethan said.
"With Trident Sea’s betrayal, their alliance’s strength must have increased significantly."
"In terms of strength, they are indeed powerful. But they aren’t as loyal as the members of the Eastern Alliance," Yuna replied.
"In my opinion, your members are far more loyal than Redemption Sword’s. Just look at them."
Ethan looked forward, gazing at the cities belonging to members of the Eastern Alliance standing across the desert.
"Every player in this event knows that the tropical region is far better than the desert. So why are they willing to leave the comfort of the tropics?"
"That’s because of their loyalty to you and to the alliance. They place great hopes in you," Yuna answered.
Yuna folded her arms across her chest and continued looking in the same direction as Ethan. "Clearly, Redemption Sword lost badly in this matter." 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞
Ethan nodded in response to everything Yuna said. She was right. It was not uncommon for former enemies to end up praising him.
"The LionArk reconnaissance team is out completing their mission. Once they return, I’ll be able to determine whether you’re lying to me or not."
"Of course. I’ll wait for that day to come."

Two days later.
Laura quickened her pace as she exited the command headquarters. One of the reconnaissance team’s servants had arrived in the city, carrying a piece of paper filled with their scouting information.
Now, Laura herself held the paper and sprinted from the command headquarters toward Lion City’s town center.
Hanss had gone to oversee the soldier recruitment process, while Ethan was still fast asleep. The door to Ethan’s room burst open as Laura entered with an anxious expression.
"Sir Ethan!"
Hearing Laura’s voice, Ethan jolted awake, turning his head in shock as he saw Laura standing inside his room.
"Laura? What are you doing here?" Ethan asked.
"The reconnaissance team returned with a report," Laura replied.
"A report? That fast? They only left two days ago."
Laura extended her hand, offering the message she had already read. She motioned for Ethan to read it himself.
He took the message and read it silently. Every sentence sank in. Every paragraph was understood. Ethan’s expression changed instantly.
"Empty?" Ethan asked.
"Yes. My guess is that the reconnaissance team observed the tropical region after the canyon area was completely empty."
"No troop concentration. No cities."
Ethan narrowed his eyes. War was extremely close, yet there were no signs of enemy forces stationed there.
The transmigration tokens had passed seven days since day twenty. They could no longer be used for migration. The threat of transmigration had disappeared.
Ethan nodded and ordered the reconnaissance team to conduct deeper surveillance. He wanted to see the true condition of their alliance, as well as the size of their forces.
Laura nodded in understanding. Yuna then arrived from her room at the town center. Ethan’s attention immediately fixed on the woman.
"What’s going on?" Yuna asked.
"There’s no troop deployment near the canyon in the tropical region."
"Sir Ethan. You must not—"
"I have the authority to share this information with anyone, Laura."
"Very well, Sir Ethan."
Yuna smiled, placing her hands on her hips. "I told you already. Their alliance is fractured."
"What do you think the reconnaissance team should do?" Ethan asked, narrowing his eyes as he observed Yuna’s reaction.
"Recall the reconnaissance team. We should launch a full scale attack on that region immediately."
