I Become Master of Danger Zones as Incubus With Mastery In Genetic-Chapter 651 - 71
Agatha looked at her young mistress before sighing, "I hope she does not work too much. The master is powerful." from what her master told her, the tasks he had taken should be an easy one.
Though, the fact her master did not return did put her into a state of unease. She remained strong, for the sake of her young mistress.
*Knock knock knock*
Her musing was cut short by the knocking on the door.
"I wonder if it is the master." the maid said to herself before walking towards the door. When she opened it, she was disappointed and slightly confused at the sight of the City Lord.
It was not only the presence of the City Lord that confused her, but how he was sweating bucket.
"Lord Ferrum," she decided to show the proper etiquette, bowing to the Ruler of Cruom City.
"Please cut the pleasantries for now." City Lord Ferrum, someone who was strict in keeping his etiquette and manners said.
Agatha wondered why someone like that would just ignore all decorum but soon find her answer. It was not hard to figure out in the first place, as the City Lord occasionally had his eyes glancing slightly to the child next to him.
’Who is the child and why did the City Lord afraid of him?’ she doubted she could get any answer so she let the two people inside.
"Thank you. Can you call Merith’s daughter?" the City Lord requested. Agatha uneasily nodded, her gaze subtle stopping at the child.
She quickly turned her head, planning to call her young mistress while praying that nothing happened to them both.

"Master Mage, can I leave now?" Ferrum asked. Ardent merely glance at him, causing the City Lord’s throat to dry.
"Understood. I will stay then." he backpaddled, not wishing to gain his wrath.
Ardent looked away, deciding to look at the decor of the mansion. Compared to the City Lord’s, it was a lot smaller, which was to be expected. Despite the smaller size, Ardent find himself liking this mansion more than the City Lord’s.
His brief observation of the mansion was forced to stop as he set his eyes on the newcomer.
’So, that his daughter,’ slightly younger than he expected, Merith’s daughter should just enter her twenties, which still older than him, but not really that old.
Aside from that, she also a beautiful maiden, with her red hair, slightly curly and short, her brown eyes having a sharp gaze. Despite her beauty, she still unmarried. Ardent could easily guess the reason Merith told him that, but decided to ignore it until it become relevant, which hopefully would be never.

’Merith told me that she is a capable alchemist. Let see how good she is.’ Ardent subtle pour Mana into his eyes, activating Eye For Talent.
What he saw cause him to gasp.
’High talent in alchemy?!’ Ardent find himself shocked at the gem he found. So far, the only person with high talent was Merith’s daughter, with even the 4th Circle Mages and 3rd Rank Aura Expert only having mid talent.
’I have to have her join in the kingdom!’ he thought. With how rare high talent is, Ardent doubt he would find one with such talent in alchemy. At least in the region.
"So, you’re Merith’s daughter." Ardent started.
"Yes. Why do you ask?" she replied softly.
"It because your father told me about you, when he decided to join me and my newly formed faction." Ardent took pleasure in seeing her eyes bulging. Both of them as the maid had the same expression.
"Lord Ferrum?" the young lady asked the City Lord. Clearly not trusting his words. However, she should think logically that the City Lord would rebuke that statement if it was false.
Ardent could see how the young lady’s heart sank when the City Lord let out a heavy sigh, "Your father was captured when he and the force he lead was defeated by the young Mage next to me."
Ardent watched as Merith’s daughter narrowed her eyes on him, "What do you mean, City Lord? My father is a 4th Circle Mage, he will not be defeated so easily." she pointed. Normally, that would be true in the region. However, Ardent is an anomaly. An outrageously powerful one at that.
"Yes, your father is a 4th Circle Mage, and a powerful one at that," Ferrum agreed, "Unfortunately, he did not stood a chance against a 5th Circle Mage, no matter how young he is."
Ardent find himself amused at how her eyes turned into pinprick at the mention of his current Circle.
"He, who is probably younger than me by at least 5 years, a 5th Circle Mage?" she questioned. Ardent was not surprised by the disbelief, so, he decided to just show it.
His Mana erupted, leaving heavy pressure all over the places. Merith’s daughter, the City Lord and the maid find themselves unable to breath, the suffocating pressure stopping them from even taking a whiff of air.
Thankfully, Ardent pulled his Mana back, as he merely presented to the young lady his true power. Once he pulled his Mana, the trio gulped air into their lungs greedily, afraid they would not be able to do so in the future. Or so it look like.
"Now do you believe me?" Ardent asked. Merith’s daughter nodded quickly, still afraid of his demonstration.
"If my father is in captivity-" "He work for me, so he is not a captive, at least not anymore." Ardent cut her off, not planning on earning the ire of such talented alchemist. Read new chapters at novelbuddy
"Yet, he still remain at the village." she pointed out.
"Yes," Ardent admitted, "But he is not stuck inside a cell. Instead, he was put under probation and punishment for trying to attack the village. He can be considered lucky I have use for him or he might perish." Hearing the word perish, the City Lord trembled.
Ardent fear the man would soil himself at this rate.
"Though, I come here not to talk about your father. Instead," his eyes narrowed, looking directly into her brown orbs, "I come here for you."
