I Became the Demon King of Lust-Chapter 440: Housewarming party

It took a while to unpack everything that had been brought over by the moving people, but with Su Chen's help, we were able to do it with the two of us.

After the unpacking was done, the only thing that was left was to hold a housewarming party.

Or at least that was what he said.

I didn't really think it was necessary until…

"If they find out that you didn't hold one after moving houses, what do you think will happen to you?"

There was a feeling of not knowing whether to laugh or cry that filled me when I heard this.

But knowing what I knew about them, I knew that Su Chen was right.

So that was how we started preparing for the housewarming party.

Or that would have been the case if it wasn't for the people that barged in.

"We thought that you would need some help." That was what they said, but it was clear that this wasn't everything. With how much that had been prepared, it seemed that they had been waiting to come for a long time now.

It seemed that everyone already knew about this place except for me…

Now if they could have come earlier and helped with the moving in…

Well, I could already guess why they didn't show themselves earlier.

Especially after seeing the way that Long Shui Ling seemed to be looking over the place. It was as if she could already see herself moving in here, but I knew that this couldn't happen.

If it did, there was no doubt that the Long Family would have a few things to say about this.

So in the end, I just pretended like I didn't see a single thing.

I was about to go prepare the food for the party, but I didn't get a chance to do so.

"We'll cook, you just sit and wait." The girls said before taking the ingredients that they brought into the kitchen.

As expected, it was the reason why they had bought so much food in the first place.

Since they insisted, there really was nothing that we could do as we sat there and waited for them to finish cooking.

Only I couldn't help feeling worried.

It was fine if it was just one person who was cooking alone, but for all four of them to be in the kitchen at the same time…

It wasn't just Long Shui Ling and Bing Xin who were in the kitchen, it was even Claire and Qin Yue Ru who went into the kitchen with them. With the way that they went in, the look on their faces was as if there was something that they had to prove.

I looked at Hayato and Blaze who had come with them for some kind of explanation, but both of them turned away as if they couldn't look at me.

It was clear that they knew something, it was just that they were avoiding telling me.

I narrowed my eyes when I saw them like this and was thinking about pressuring them to tell me, but I didn't get the chance to do that.

"Oh, you cleaned up the place quite well." A voice came from the door.

We turned to see that it was Bing Lan who had suddenly appeared.

With a trace of bitterness on my face, I went over to greet her as I said, "It's all thanks to your generosity, guild master."

Of course there was a trace of complaint in my voice in regards to the location of this house, but it didn't seem like she cared at all.

Instead, Bing Lan just gave a sniff and then said, "Oh, it seems like they're cooking already. I'll go and help."

A surprised look appeared on my face, but it was already too late for me to stop her.

She was a S Ranker for a reason, so she moved much faster than I could react and was already in the kitchen by the time that I turned around.

It was already too late to stop her, but maybe she might be able to stop whatever was happening in the kitchen.

So I went to close the door…only I suddenly remembered something.

"I could have sworn that I locked the door, so how did she open it?" I muttered under my breath.

I slowly came to a scary conclusion, but I shook it out of my mind.

I could always change locks if it came down to it and in the first place, if Bing Lan ever wanted to break down the door, there really wasn't anything that I could do about it. Even if this house was built in a way that was resistant against dungeon breaks and dungeon monsters, that didn't mean it was able to stop a complete monster.

That was just how powerful S Rankers were.

When I came back, I could see the strange way that Blaze and Hayato were looking at me, but this time I acted like I didn't see anything.

This was a bit of payback for how they had ignored me earlier.

But right now, there wasn't the time to think about that.

In the end, there was even what sounded like an explosion that came from the kitchen…

Were they really alright?

Bing Lan was the guild master and she seemed like someone who was just too busy to cook.

Most of the girls on our team seemed like they weren't the type to cook for themselves…

So I really didn't know how things would turn out.

Even though Long Shui Ling had shown some abilities, that didn't mean that I still trusted her cooking skills.

In the end, I was pleasantly surprised to see that it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

At least it still looked like food…

No, it didn't just look like food. It actually looked quite good for the sounds that we had heard earlier.

The only thing left was how it tasted…
