I Became a Kindergarten Teacher for Monster Babies!-Chapter 475
Alina laughed lightly, unable to hold back her teasing any longer. "Though, Boo... you have such a cute face that no one is ever going to be scared of you like that. Honestly, you’d be a perfect child actor ghost in a movie. Cute. Adorable. Family friendly spooky."
Boo froze midair.
His eyes widened so much they looked ready to float out of his face.
"...CUTE?" he repeated in disbelief, his voice cracking like shattered dignity.
Drake covered his mouth, already wheezing. "Child actor ghost—"
Kelpie snorted laughing.
Felix leaned back, amused. "Instead of haunting people, he’ll just autograph their notebooks."
Boo spun around dramatically, clutching his chest as if struck by betrayal. "Cute?! Do you know how much effort I put into being terrifying?! I practiced eerie whispers! I practiced floating ominously at doorways! I practiced the art of dramatic entrances!"
He floated closer to Alina, pointing accusingly. "Teacher, I have a gold chain. GOLD. CHAINS. Does that look like a cute mascot to you?!"
Alina bit her lip, smiling far too innocently. "A very stylish mascot."
Luna smirked. "Scary on the inside. Plushie on the outside."
Rocky nodded seriously. "You are... spooky teddy bear."
Boo gasped, horrified. "TEDDY BEAR?!"
The class burst into laughter again, and even Boo’s dramatic outrage slowly melted into a sulky, overacted pout as he crossed his arms midair.
"...Fine," he muttered. "If I can’t be scary, I will be the most fashionable ghost in history."
And Alina laughed warmly, watching them smiling.
Vlad Jr. folded his hands neatly on his desk, posture elegant as ever, and asked in a calm, refined tone, "By the way, teacher... when are our results going to be declared? And when is the parents’ meeting scheduled?"
The moment the words left his mouth, every single pair of eyes in the classroom slowly turned toward him.
Boo gasped as if he had just witnessed a crime. "What’s the rush?!" he snapped, floating closer with an offended look. "Some of us are still emotionally recovering from the trauma of that exam!"
Kelpie groaned and buried his face in his arms. "Why would you remind us, Vlad? We were living peacefully. Happily. Ignorantly."
Drake started chewing his thumb in panic, eyes wide with genuine fear. "Oh my dragon fire... I don’t even remember what I wrote," he whispered. "What if I accidentally wrote my shiny names instead of answers?"
Felix tilted his head, deadpan. "You probably drew flames and labeled it advanced problem solving."
Luna crossed her arms, tail flicking irritably. "If the results are bad, I’m blaming the test paper. It looked suspicious."
Rocky looked horrified, hugging his bag like a shield. "What if I wrote something wrong and they think I’m... dumb?" he murmured softly.
Sable quietly looked at Lucien and whispered, "Do you think grades can hurt?"
Lucien blinked once. "Maybe, yes."
Meanwhile, Vlad Jr. remained composed, lips curving into a graceful, faint smile. "It is simply responsible to be mentally prepared," he said politely. "Besides, my parents will want to frame my results in their meeting room."
Boo scoffed. "Of course they will. They’ll probably frame your blood review too."
Before the chaos could grow louder, Alina lifted both hands, laughing as she tried to calm them. "Alright, alright! Relax, everyone. Your results won’t be announced today, so you’re all safe for now. And the parents’ meeting will be next week."
A collective sigh of relief filled the room.
Drake slumped over his desk dramatically. "I live to panic another day."
Boo floated upward with a theatrical spin. "Next week is future Boo’s problem."
Alina clapped her hands lightly, waiting for the last ripples of noise to fade, though her smile was already giving away the surprise she had been holding back since morning. Her eyes sparkled as she looked at their expectant little faces, some still nervous about results, some still whispering dramatic theories.
"Alright... attention, everyone," she said warmly, her voice bright with excitement. "Today, we are not studying anything." 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖
For a second, the room went utterly silent.
Then—
"What?!"
"NO STUDY?!"
"IS THIS A DREAM?!"
Before the chaos could explode, she laughed and raised her hands again. "Instead, we’re going to play games together," she announced happily. "And Principal Sir has prepared a special feast for all of you."
The reaction was instant and explosive.
Drake shot up from his seat. "FEAST?! Like... snacks? Sweets? Cakes?"
Boo spun in midair. "A feast?! This day has been blessed by destiny!"
Kelpie clapped excitedly. "Garden games! Garden games!"
Rocky smiled shyly, already imagining outdoor fun, while Luna’s tail flicked in delight. "If there are races, I’m winning."
Vlad Jr. smiled with elegant composure. "A refined outdoor gathering... how tasteful."
Felix muttered under his breath, "Finally, a productive academic activity: eating."
Lucien glanced at Sable, who was already glowing with quiet excitement, his little hands curled happily at his sides.
"We’re all going to the garden together," Alina continued, her heart feeling impossibly full as she watched their joy bloom. "So line up nicely, hold hands if needed, and let’s go make some memories."
The babies cheered, scrambled, laughed, and hurried to gather themselves, and as Alina led them toward the door.
The garden looked new and different because of the new playground equipment shining in the soft daylight. Rows of colorful swings swayed gently in the breeze, smooth slides curved like water streams, a wide climbing net shaped like a spiderweb, and a strange but fascinating balancing structure made of bucket like seats that tipped and rocked when someone stepped onto them. There were stepping stones painted like lily pads, a mini rope bridge stretched between two wooden posts, a spinning wheel platform, and a cozy little playhouse tucked under a tree with tiny windows and a crooked door. Everywhere Alina looked, there was something new to explore, touch, climb, or laugh over.
"Wowwwww!!!!" the babies gasped in unison, their eyes lighting up like fireworks.
Before she could even remind them to walk carefully, they were already sprinting forward, laughter spilling into the air. Drake raced toward the tallest slide, already announcing that he would go first. Boo floated in excited circles, declaring that the entire playground was now officially haunted by him. Kelpie dashed toward the rope bridge, bouncing with excitement at the thought of crossing it. Rocky tiptoed toward the stepping stones, carefully testing each one like they might whisper secrets beneath his feet. Luna stretched like a little hunter before running toward the climbing net, her competitive spirit flickering in her eyes. Vlad Jr. walked with graceful dignity toward the swings, as if even playing had to look elegant. Felix sighed, but there was a faint smile on his face as he followed, pretending he wasn’t just as excited.
Lucien held Sable’s hand gently, guiding him toward the balancing buckets. "Let’s try this together," he said softly, and Sable nodded with a shy but glowing smile.
