I Became a Kindergarten Teacher for Monster Babies!-Chapter 357 Unexpected Visit
Vlad Jr. sat with the poise of a miniature noble, legs crossed neatly, his little hands folded over the table as if he were attending a royal council rather than a father-son chat. His elegant red cape draped perfectly over the chair, and the deep crimson bow at his collar gleamed under the chandelier’s soft light. He looked every bit like a tiny prince delivering an important report.
Count Vladimir listened with full attention, his tall frame leaning forward, dark eyes fixed on his son as Vlad Jr. recounted every detail of the previous day with calm precision.
"That was quite the tragedy indeed," Count Vladimir finally declared, his voice deep and resonant like a ruler addressing his court. "But I am most grateful all children returned unharmed. Chaos of such scale should never be taken lightly."
Vlad Jr. nodded with an air of refined seriousness far beyond his age. "You speak the truth, Father. However, if we examine the situation through a wider perspective, we may notice that the outcome was not entirely grim."
"Oh?" Count Vladimir lifted one brow, intrigued. "Pray tell, my son. What insight have you gathered?"
"With respect, Father," Vlad Jr. began, folding his hands a little tighter, "Elder Koel benefited greatly from the incident. Though the misunderstanding caused momentary alarm, the result granted him companionship he had long been deprived of. He was lonely, living in seclusion, but now he has been entrusted with the care of orphaned sea children. This is a blessing not only to Elder Koel, but to those little ones as well."
Count Vladimir paused, taking in the thoughtful explanation with visible admiration. "My son," he said at last, a proud smile forming, "your wisdom continues to surpass your years. You have assessed the matter with clarity and compassion."
Vlad Jr. lifted his chin slightly, princely yet modest. "Thank you, Father. I merely spoke what I observed."
Count Vladimir leaned back with a satisfied nod. "And you observed well. The true mark of nobility is not power or lineage, but the ability to see beyond the surface and recognise the quiet blessings hidden in unfortunate events. You have shown that today."
Vlad Jr.’s red eyes shone with pride as he bowed his head gracefully. "Your praise honours me, Father."
Count Vladimir’s smile deepened, pleased with his son’s composure, but then his expression shifted, becoming thoughtful and almost businesslike as he tapped one elegant finger against the table.
"And now," he continued, "we must address another matter. In the group, we have received notice regarding your incoming examinations."
Vlad Jr.’s eyes widened. "You received?" he echoed, blinking in genuine surprise.
Count Vladimir gave a solemn nod. "Not the full schedule yet, but your class teacher has messaged us. The examinations will begin within two weeks."
For a brief moment, Vlad Jr.’s princely aura flickered as shock washed over him. "Two weeks?" he whispered, straightening his posture as though bracing himself for war. "That soon?"
"Yes," Count Vladimir confirmed, folding his hands elegantly. "The announcement was short. It seems the school intends to proceed quickly. You must be prepared."
Vlad Jr. let out a tiny breath, quiet and controlled, very noble, but there was unmistakable tension in his shoulders.
"I understand, Father," he said with determination. "I shall begin my preparations immediately. This exam will not catch me unprepared."
Count Vladimir’s lips curved into a proud, approving smile. "That is what I wished to hear. A son of the count must always be ready, no matter how sudden the challenge."
Vlad Jr. nodded firmly, his little red bow bobbing. "I will not disappoint you."
"I know," his father replied softly, reaching out to adjust the young vampire’s cape with gentle affection. "You never do."

Meanwhile, Alina blinked in confusion when her doorbell rang. Hardly anyone even knew where she lived, so the sound startled her enough that she paused midway through tying her hair. For a moment she stood still in her living room, wondering if she had imagined it.
Who could it be? she thought, wiping her palms on her soft shorts before walking toward the door.
She unlocked it slowly, and the moment she pulled it open, her breath caught.
Dante, Sable, and Lucien were standing right there on her doorstep.
She stared at them, and they stared back at her, and for a heartbeat the whole world felt oddly still. Sunlight from behind her spilled into the doorway, brushing her bare legs and the loose folds of her comfy shirt. She suddenly felt the cool air touch her skin, and it made her even more aware of how she looked.
What are they doing here? her mind whispered in quiet shock.
Dante was the most stunned among them. His eyes lowered for a fraction of a second, taking in the soft shirt hanging loosely around her waist and the way her smooth legs glowed in the light. Then his gaze snapped back up, more controlled. His jaw tightened lightly as though he needed to remind himself to breathe.
Sable, poor baby, turned red immediately. His little hands flew to his cheeks, and he peeked at her from behind Dante’s sleeve like someone who had just discovered a secret he was not supposed to see. Lucien’s eyes widened too, blinking slowly as if trying to understand why his teacher suddenly looked so different.
Most of the time, Alina wore modest dresses, long sleeves, layered shawls. Seeing her in simple home clothes—bare legs, soft fabric, loose hair—felt like seeing her real morning self, warm and gentle and completely unguarded. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝙚𝓫𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢
Alina felt the heat climb up her neck. "S-sir?" she whispered, her fingers gripping the door frame.
Dante blinked once, slowly, as if to regain control. "Good morning, Miss Alina."
She almost forgot to breathe. "Good... good morning. Is something wrong? Why are you here so early?"
Lucien tugged his father’s sleeve and whispered, a little too loudly and a little too honestly, "Dad... teacher looks pretty..."
Sable nodded shyly, hiding his smile behind his hand.
Dante cleared his throat, the tips of his ears turning faint red. "Lucien," he murmured, but he did not deny it.
Alina’s face burned. She opened the door wider and stepped back. "P-please come in. Do not stand outside for long..."
