I Became a Kindergarten Teacher for Monster Babies!-Chapter 355 Terrifying Adventure
Rocky hiccupped, his tears falling faster now that he felt safe enough to let them out. "But... teacher looked so sad... and I did not call her... and I made her scared..."
Queen Granite kissed his temple softly, her voice gentle as she brushed his shaking back with her hand. "Teacher knows you were trying to help. And she loves you very much, my pebble. She must be so relieved you’re home and safe."
Rocky sniffed, rubbing his tears away with the back of his tiny hand as he lifted his head, his eyes still shimmering. "R-really?"
"Really," Boulder King said with a warm, comforting smile.
Queen Granite cupped Rocky’s face tenderly, her thumbs brushing away the last drops on his cheeks. "Our little pebble is loved by so many. Don’t cry anymore."
Rocky leaned forward and wrapped his small arms around both his parents, stretching as far as he could manage to pull them close. Between their warmth and their gentle reassurances, the heavy guilt in his little chest slowly loosened and melted away.
"Mommy, Daddy... I’ll be careful now," he whispered quietly, his voice small but sincere.
"And we’ll always be here," they whispered back, holding him like he was their entire world.
"Now smile!" King Boulder said, lifting Rocky’s chin with a big, playful grin.
Rocky sniffled again, wiped his wet eyes, and slowly his lips curved into a tiny smile. His cheeks dimpled just like when he was very small, and both parents felt their hearts soften instantly.
"And what’s in that bag?" Queen Granite asked, her voice calmer now as she eyed the bags on the chair.
Rocky’s eyes brightened immediately. "I brought something for all..." he said shyly, hurrying over to fetch the bags before running back with excitement bubbling in his steps.
With a proud little breath, he opened the small bag wide. Inside, a soft glow shimmered from underwater treasures—pebbles, tiny shells, and several lovely handmade trinkets he had chosen with great care.
He reached in and took out a delicate blue necklace, its surface shining like a drop of the ocean trapped inside crystal.
"Mom will look pretty in blue necklace..." Rocky murmured shyly, offering it with both hands, his cheeks turning rosy.
Queen Granite’s expression melted into pure affection. She pressed a hand to her heart, touched beyond words. "My pebble... you brought this for me?"
Rocky nodded hard, eyes sparkling. "Because blue is your favourite... and you said it makes you feel calm... so I brought this so you can always feel calm with me."
A soft, emotional breath escaped her, and she gently cupped his face before leaning in to kiss his forehead. "It’s beautiful, Rocky. Thank you, my sweet boy. I’ll cherish it."
Boulder King bent down with a teasing grin. "Anything for me?"
Rocky immediately rummaged deeper into the bag and pulled out a thicker, amber-coloured stone pendant. "This one is for Daddy! It looks strong like you!"
The king let out a warm laugh and lifted Rocky high into his arms. "Then I’ll wear it proudly. My pebble has excellent taste."
Rocky giggled loudly, all his worries forgotten as both parents hugged him close. His heart felt full...overflowing with love, relief, and pride that his little gifts made his parents so happy.

"How was your sleep?" Boo heard a voice grumble near his ear the moment he blinked awake. It was Soxx—the newest ghost elder in their tower—hovering beside his tiny bed with a stern expression. Boo liked him a lot; unlike the older ancient ghosts who drifted around like sleepy curtains, Soxx had energy. Real energy. Sometimes even too much.
"Good night, Uncle Socks!!!" Boo said cheerfully as he sat up, his round jelly-like body wobbling.
Soxx’s eye twitched. "Young ghost, it is Soxx. Not socks. I am not a pair of clothing."
"Hehehe..." Boo giggled, completely unbothered, then suddenly his eyes widened. "By the way, did teacher and principal drop me at home?"
Soxx crossed his translucent arms dramatically. "No. I took the trouble to pick you up. Me. Not teacher. Not principal. Me." He looked like a ghost desperately waiting for appreciation, and Boo didn’t notice even a little.
"Oh, okay!!" Boo nodded seriously.
And just as Soxx opened his mouth to say something more, Boo froze, gasped, and shot three feet into the air.
"YAYYYYYY!!! NEW SHIRTS FOR BOOOOO!!!" he screamed, spinning in frantic circles until his tail knotted itself. He dove to the little bag in the corner, dragging it back and spilling everything across the floor.
"Look look look!!!" Boo shouted proudly, holding up a tiny pink shirt with glittering shells. "TEACHER PICKED THIS FOR BOO! BOO WILL LOOK SO PRETTY!!"
Soxx stared at the shirt. Then at Boo. Then back at the shirt.
"...You are a ghost," he muttered. "Why do you even wear clothes?"
"Because Boo is FASHION!!" Boo declared, puffing out his small chest.
Soxx sighed like a ghost who regretted coming into existence.
Boo, meanwhile, was happily bouncing around him, showing every shirt, every colour, every tiny detail like a little model preparing for a runway that existed only inside his glittery imagination. His excitement filled the whole room like bright bubbles, and after hugging all the shirts to his chest, his tail wagging like a ribbon in a storm, his expression shifted suddenly. The sparkle in his eyes turned serious, as if he were about to reveal a dark, ancient secret.
"Uncle Soxx..." he whispered dramatically, floating a little higher so the light hit his face from below, making him look extra spooky. "Do you... want to hear Boo’s... terrifying... dangerous... HORRIFYING adventure???"
Soxx blinked. "Terrifying?"
Boo floated closer until their noses almost touched. "I almost DIED yesterday."
Soxx jolted. "WHAT?!"
Boo raised one tiny ghost finger. "Actually... I almost died five times." He lowered his voice into a deep spooky rumble. "Maybe even SIX."
Soxx looked horrified. "What are you talking about??"
And that was the moment Boo erupted into full storytelling mode, his entire glow brightening as he waved his arms like a tiny ghost conductor.
"First, teacher took us in a TURTLE BUS! A turtle... that is a BUS. And it FLEW. And then it SWAM. And then it—" he wobbled in wild loops "—WOBBLED!!! Boo’s head spun!! I thought my ghost soul left my ghost body!!" 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖
Soxx covered his mouth. "Wobbled...?"
"Yes yes YES!! And then we went under the whole ocean! BIG fishes! Small fishes! Sparkly fishes!! Fishes that looked like Boo’s uncle ghost friend Phil!!"
Soxx frowned. "Phil is not a fish."
"He LOOKS LIKE ONE!!" Boo argued passionately.
Before Soxx could protest, Boo zoomed in another loop.
"And then AND THEN an uncle OCTOPUS appeared!! He had EIGHT ARMS!!" Boo stretched both arms as wide as he could even though he only had two. "He could grab ALL OF US at ONE TIME!! And throw us like STONE BALLS!!"
Soxx stiffened. "He grabbed you??"
