I Ascend to the Divine Throne through Arcane Means-Chapter 558 - 392 Elemental Refinement·Earth_2
Under the brownish-yellow glow in midair, the rocks on the Demon Statue's body twinkled with a piercing light, resembling innumerable sharp blades arranged like serrated teeth, emitting an extremely dangerous aura of death that deterred anyone from approaching carelessly.
This Demon Statue stood silently before the high tower, as if it were the guardian of the earth itself, quietly guarding the tower behind it.
Lis, looking at the Legendary Magic Statue not far away, was still a little nervous.
According to Azela, she had already granted Lis the necessary permissions.
That meant Lis had the qualifications to enter this Element Tower at this moment.
The Legendary Magic Statue in front of him shouldn't attack him.
But, after all, facing this terrifying entity, although the aura of the Legendary Earth Element Demon Statue in front of him was somewhat restrained, unlike the Fire Element Demon Statue, which constantly exerted a terrifying pressure in all directions, Lis had already heightened his alertness to the maximum.
His right hand gripped the Space Ring; if there was danger, Lis did not plan to build a Space Technique to teleport away, but rather to directly activate the "High-level Teleportation Technique" inside the ring.
After all, handling a Legendary Level entity left no room for error.
For some reason, the Gold Level Elemental Magic Statues that were originally densely distributed around the high tower had all disappeared.
Could it be that those Elemental Magic Statues were also fearing the Legendary Magic Statue in front of them?
Lis muttered to himself internally, then deactivated Stealth, and carefully walked towards the high tower.
Taking a deep breath, Lis stepped within thirty meters of the Earth Element Demon Statue.
This was the information Uncle Joyce had told him.
These Legendary Elemental Magic Statues would detect and attack enemies within thirty meters, prompting Lis to maintain a safe distance.
Now, however, he was using it to tempt fate.
Crack! Crack!
The sudden sound of stone friction sent Lis's vigilance soaring to its peak, his muscles tensed, ready to flee at the first hint of trouble.
He then saw the massive rock Demon Statue slightly lift its head; the originally black eye sockets lit up with golden light, resembling human eyes.
The golden eyes trembled slightly, as if scrutinizing Lis, and after a moment, the golden light dimmed, and the Demon Statue returned to its previous state.
Was this... permission granted?
Lis cautiously watched the Demon Statue in front of him and tentatively took a few more steps forward.
Realizing that the Demon Statue made no further movements, he finally relaxed and slowly walked towards the Element Tower.
As he passed the Legendary Elemental Magic Statue, Lis deliberately slowed his pace, scrutinizing it closely.
If he wasn't worried about triggering the Demon Statue's defensive mechanism, Lis would even have liked to touch it.
The feel of a Legendary Elemental Magic Statue would probably be very good.
Shaking off that temerary thought, Lis walked towards the main entrance of the high tower.
As Lis approached the main entrance, the doors of the high tower slowly opened outward, but the doorway was covered with a layer of brownish-yellow light, like a water curtain concealing the interior scene.
Since the Legendary Elemental Magic Statue had not reacted, Lis was not worried about encountering danger inside the Element Tower and walked straight through the main door.
After a dazzling flash of light, Lis opened his eyes and was instantly awestruck by the interior of the high tower.
Inside this magical high tower, the space seemed both spacious and profound, with high walls seemingly stretching up to the sky, and unlike typical Mage Towers with a layered structure, this Element Tower had an unobstructed flow from the spire to the base where Lis stood, with no obstructions in between.
The walls of the tower shimmered with a near-golden soft light, numerous Magic Pattern Circuits entwined on the smooth walls, even forming faint chains of magic patterns floating in midair, connecting various parts of the Element Tower.
Most eye-catching was the brownish-yellow Elemental Waterfall cascading down from the top of the high tower!
The waterfall, made of pure Earth Attribute Magic Elements, resembled a massive ribbon hanging from the spire, each droplet twinkling with brownish-yellow light, as if endowed with life.
The magic elemental droplets leaped and spun in the air before finally settling into the central pool of the high tower.
The surface of the pool, too, was shrouded in the same brownish-yellow light. The water rippled, the light flickering with it, making the entire pool seem to breathe and twinkle.
The edges of the pool, carefully sculpted from the same sharp rocks and melded with the tower, emitted an ancient and mysterious aura.
Faint yet profound elemental fluctuations circulated continuously inside the high tower, stimulating Lis's nerves.
"Phew~"
Lis let out a gentle sigh, all he saw before him was nothing short of miraculous!
The temple left by the deity Ansel on the island in the Treasure Pearl Sea that he once explored was incomparable to the marvel before his eyes.
The majestic elemental power present seemed even stronger than a Legendary Mage's magic power, right?
Lis was somewhat astonished; everything inside the tower was far beyond his imagination, but he quickly refocused his attention.
So, the "Elemental Waterfall" that Azela spoke of, is it the one before him now?
Lis observed the brownish-yellow ribbon of light falling from the sky, sensing an intensively rich aura of the Earth Element.
Was this connected to the brownish-yellow halo at the top of the high tower?
Lis pondered silently, focusing on the peculiar Elemental Waterfall before him.
Clearly, the particles of the Earth Element had gathered here in a liquid form, yet the waterfall that plunged into the pool stirred hardly any ripples, not even making the slightest sound.
This was somewhat beyond Lis's understanding; could it be the creation of Legendary powers?
Lis shook his head, not dwelling on it further, and walked straight toward the waterfall.
Just as he was about to enter the pool, the tower seemed to sense something; countless ethereal Magic Rune chains floating in midair suddenly descended, consolidating in front of Lis.
A golden staircase appeared in front of Lis, its platform at the end extending deep into the Elemental Waterfall.
So that was it!
Lis looked thoughtfully at the staircase before him.
He had wondered why, apart from the Earth Element-formed waterfall and pool, there was nothing else inside this high tower.
It turned out all operations within the tower could be formed by those ethereal Magic Rune chains in midair.
This Magic Rune technology was truly amazing!
Aside from [Elemental Refinement], what else could these ethereal Magic Rune chains form?
Lis tentatively stepped onto the staircase, and finding it as solid as bedrock, he confidently climbed up, approaching the Elemental Waterfall.
A moment later, facing the waterfall that seemed to pass directly through the void and the staircase, Lis took a deep breath, prepared himself, and stepped forward, immersing his entire body within the Elemental Waterfall.
Heavy!
Extremely heavy!
This was the only thought in Lis's mind now.
Lis clenched his teeth, feeling his bones creak under the tremendous pressure.
The torrent of magic formed by the Earth Element, controlled by the special Magic Pattern, directly washed over and refined every part of Lis's body.
His muscles, bones, and even skin constantly absorbed this purest power of the Earth Element, continuously being refined and strengthened by the torrent's washing.
But this Elemental Refinement, while beneficial to Lis, also brought immense pressure.
The power of the Magic Elements was truly miraculous!
This pressure was not primarily on the physical body but directly oppressed Lis's spirit and will.
Lis's sturdy body was not of much use at this moment; he could only use all his strength to resist this assault on his spirit and will.
