I Am the Only Fertile Woman in the Game-Chapter 41: Igniting Spiritual Power
"Just grab a few things and leave."
She saw Zong Fang approach the container with military supplies, casually picked up a bracelet and put it on his wrist, then strapped on a military belt. He then clipped two guns and a tear gas canister to the back of his waist, along with a dagger. Over his shoulder, he slung a submachine gun, rapidly checking the firearms and adjusting the scopes, his posture both professional and practiced. The belt pulled his lean waist tight, accentuating the man’s sexy proportions.
"Why do you need all these?"
"Your lover is out there waiting to kill me."
Upon hearing his choice of words, she was momentarily speechless and asked, "Can you see what’s happening outside from this space?"
"No."
"Then how..."
Zong Fang scoffed and cocked the gun single-handedly.
"Because if any other male dares to take you away, I will kill him. I believe Sikoses feels the same way."
Qiao Suisui’s back stiffened, and she dared not respond.
She saw the man sorting through a pile of specialized bulletproof vests, selecting the smallest one and came over to help her put it on.
It made her even more nervous.
"Good girl, put it on. Stay behind me later."
He was confident that he wouldn’t let her get hurt, but he also didn’t want any accidents to happen to her, although the chance was very low.
Qiao Suisui sensed something was wrong. Was this the rhythm of a gunfire battle? Could she be accidentally injured? How many people had Lanze and Ruka brought with them? Would there be a conflict between the two sides? Seeing Zong Fang’s readiness, it was obvious he wanted to break through the encirclement and take her away... It would be better to understand his abilities beforehand.
"Zong Fang, have you been a soldier?"
"Mhm." The man was attentively cleaning the gun. While he raised it to aim, he said, "I have fought in the Wings War."

She had heard about the Wings War several times in conversations, but everyone stopped short of explaining further, leaving her with incomplete understanding.
"What exactly was the Wings War?"
Hearing her question, Zong Fang stopped what he was doing. A flash of disgust crossed his eyes as he said, "A ridiculous farce that forced fourteen billion Beastmen to play along with him."
"Who?"
As soon as the words left her mouth, the ground trembled, and the surroundings suddenly started to collapse. Qiao Suisui saw her environment melting away like sticky ice cream, followed by immense darkness.
"Qiaoqiao, come here."
Qiao Suisui stumbled towards him. As the entire space shook, making it impossible to stand stable, she grabbed onto Zong Fang’s arm and he pulled her into a corner of the container.
"Don’t be afraid, nothing will happen."
"Is this place going to collapse?"
"A Beastman with the Talent to Breakthrough is trying to open my space from outside, don’t move from here."
She nodded. Seeing Zong Fang about to leave, she quickly grabbed him. "Are you going out there alone?"
"I will come back for you soon."
He didn’t know the situation outside but anticipated that Sikoses might have brought troops from the Military Department. The best course under these circumstances would be to pretend to take Qiao Suisui hostage and try to break out, but he didn’t want to do that, not even as an act. He did not want to point a gun at her.
"Qiaoqiao, be good. Once I leave, the space will be safe. If I haven’t returned yet, just focus and imagine what you need in your mind. I’ve already authorized you as the master of this space,"
Qiao Suisui remembered that before they entered, he had bitten her finger... was it that drop of blood?
There was no time to think, as Zong Fang kissed her forehead and then turned away.
She quietly peeked over the edge of the container and saw Zong Fang spread his palms and close his eyes, and the next second, he disappeared into the space.
It turned out the method to exit was so simple. She recalled everything she saw after entering the space and immediately guessed that besides storage, the space could also create anything through the mind. Aside from a few containers that were actual physical items, the rest must have been illusions.
She followed the method Zong Fang had just described, spread her palms, calmed her mind, and focused on the idea of leaving. However, ten minutes passed, and when she opened her eyes, she was still in the same place. She tried again, this time starting with something simple, imagining a red apple in her palm.
Yet, everything remained unchanged.
By this time, the shaking had ceased, presumably because Zong Fang had appeared before Ruka and the others.
Qiao Suisui didn’t lose heart. She carefully recalled Zong Fang’s method. Her gaze shifted and she noticed a glowing crystal on the diagonal of the container.
A streak of light suddenly flashed across her eyes.
"Spiritual Power Ore..."
She moved over, picked up the raw stone the size of her palm, and speculated, "Only Zong Fang and I can enter this space, which means only we are qualified to manipulate everything here with our minds. Therefore, the rule is the same. The space is a space, but the person activating it is different... Which means, the difference between me and Zong Fang is that he has spiritual power, and I don’t... That’s why I can’t conjure things out of thin air or leave just by thinking about it."
Qiao Suisui was clear-headed at critical moments. She now began to recall the usage of the Spiritual Power Ore she had browsed on the Light Computer.
She caressed the raw stone, feeling its smooth, warm texture, and even a slight tingling at her fingertips as if an electric current was passing through.
The post had mentioned that the ore needed to be absorbed, and the better it was absorbed, the better the effect.
But how was she to absorb it?
She examined the raw stone from all angles but found no mechanisms or buttons. She bit open the already scabbed wound on her index finger again and let the blood drip onto it, but the raw stone reacted like any ordinary stone, with a droplet of blood sliding off the surface without any sign of absorption.
"Could it be by eating it?"
She tentatively bit the edge of the raw stone, but it was hard and utterly useless.
Qiao Suisui clutched the stone with a furrowed brow. Just as she was about to give up and look for another way out, the space shook unexpectedly again. She didn’t manage to steady herself, stumbled, and lost her balance, falling forward, and the raw stone slipped from her grasp.
She fell face down heavily, and the raw stone just happened to cushion right over her heart.
This was it!
Wasn’t this going to bruise her to death?
However, the anticipated pain did not occur. Instead, a white light spread out from her heart.
The Spiritual Power Ore merged into her body in that unexpected moment.
"Congratulations to the host for awakening spiritual power. Detecting that this activation occurred without point exchange, the system will upgrade the host’s Spiritual Power Level from D to C,"
Qiao Suisui propped herself up on her arms, touched her chest, and not only was it intact, but there was also a warmth there. Soon after, she suddenly could hear her blood rushing rapidly, her body tingled as if electrified, and a wave of electricity surged from her heart to her brain, causing her to involuntarily groan and throw back her head.
In an instant, all her senses were amplified.
All the items inside the container began to float, and she discovered that both her vision and hearing had become incredibly clear.
