I Am the Only Fertile Woman in the Game-Chapter 264 Supervisor 778
A black vortex appeared in the air, with a red chair in the middle.
Supervisor 778 walked in and sat down skillfully.
The game world she opened was now ready.
The surroundings transitioned from darkness to a garden filled with the chirping of birds and the fragrance of flowers.
A blonde woman woke up in the flowers, still with two wildflowers on her head.
"Ruka—"
She climbed out of the flower bed and called out, looking around but not seeing the man.
"Strange, where did he go?"
Supervisor 778 ran to Ruka’s room, pushed open his door, and saw an unextinguished cigarette in front of the minimalist desk.
She narrowed her eyes with a smile and tiptoed inside, indeed seeing the man standing in front of the window on a call.
She exclaimed "wow" and pounced on him from behind, intending to surprise him, but just as she was about to embrace him, the man’s elbow struck her violently.
Ruka, holding a Light Computer in one hand and half-turning, saw the woman sitting on the ground, covering her nose, and paused for a moment.
Supervisor 778 looked at him in disbelief.
"Boo hoo, you hit me..."
Ruka didn’t step forward to help her up but continued talking to Angsi on the Light Computer, "Proceed with the plan we set earlier, and inform me immediately if any issues arise," then he ended the call.
He saw the woman sitting on the ground and politely extended his hand, "Sorry, I’m not used to someone suddenly getting close behind me."
Supervisor 778 pouted and was about to place her hand in his, but she saw the man dodge and, grabbing her forearm through her sleeve, he yanked her up from the ground like pulling a radish from dry land.
"Is there something you need, Claire?"
Supervisor 778, looking at his cold expression and equally cold and distant tone, muttered unhappily, "Why are all the characters like this, character 002 is so gentle, and you just look dead."
Ruka’s golden eyes narrowed, staring at her without saying a word.
He didn’t know how many times it was now that this woman in front of him always said things he couldn’t understand.
Every time he tried to think deeply, he always felt a force preventing him from thinking further.
Moreover, he always had a feeling of being manipulated, which had appeared not long ago. Every time he touched her, he felt disgusted and even a strong repulsion and aversion in his heart, but somehow there seemed to always be a command hypnotizing his consciousness, continuously telling him—
She is your lover, you must love her.
At first, he wasn’t so repelled, obediently following her instructions and even joining her in those crazy hunting games, which he felt were cruel and not in line with his values, but he just couldn’t break off his relationship with her.
This world seemed to always arrange for them to meet again and again.
Ruka masked the repulsion in his heart and repeated his question emotionlessly, "Claire, is there something you need?"
He hoped to end this conversation as quickly as possible.
Supervisor 778, however, took his arm and said, "Can’t I seek you out if there’s nothing important? I’ve been away for so long, don’t you miss me?"
Ruka’s muscles tensed, struggling to control his surging irritation as he calmly withdrew his arm.
"If there’s nothing important, I still have to deal with matters at the Military Department."
Supervisor 778 exploded, her face twisting as she shouted at his retreating back, "How dare you leave!"
Ruka didn’t look back, continuing to walk.
"If you take one step out of this room, I’ll erase you immediately!"
Ruka frowned.
’Erase’.
That word seemed to always come from her mouth.
Was she going to kill him?
The man coldly turned around, looked at the woman before him, and said, "Do you think you can kill me?"
She was just a powerless female, although her identity was that of an Ancient Human, he didn’t want to quarrel with her often, but that didn’t mean he was willing to endure it forever.
Supervisor 778 snorted coldly and said, "You can try. Don’t think that just because I like you, you can give me attitude, you’re just a virtual..."
[Warning! Warning!]
[Prohibited word detected!]
[The game world will now freeze, logging out in 5 seconds, no game entry allowed for the next 24 hours!]
The System’s voice echoed in her mind.
Supervisor 778, unable to contain her anger, clutched her head and screamed—
"Shut up! Just shut up!"
Ruka looked at the frantic woman in front of him, his eyes devoid of any ripple.
Yet, it was his calmness that thoroughly enraged Supervisor 778.
She screamed and rushed over to fight him, "Just you wait! I’ll restart a game! I don’t believe I can’t conquer you!"
The 5 seconds quickly elapsed.
Supervisor 778 was transmitted out of her saved world.
-
Auslan Empire, Imperial Court.
Qiao Suisui burned Ye Xi’s note and stood thinking at the table.
Zong Fang came in with a cup of water, seeing her standing barefoot, biting her nails unknowingly.
It was a small anxious habit of hers.
Zong Fang walked over, handed her the cup, and pulled her so her feet stood on top of his. "What happened?"
Qiao Suisui looked up at him, hesitated for a few seconds, then spoke.
"A friend from that world sent me a signal, they’re in some trouble."
Zong Fang’s hand paused, his heart trembled slightly when he heard ’that world’, but his face did not show it; he hummed and asked, "What trouble?"
Ye Xi had contacted her with encrypted code, saying her program was being monitored.
That meant they were already on INF Company’s radar.
But these explanations were too complicated to relay to Zong Fang; Qiao Suisui simply said, "I need to make a trip back."
Zong Fang’s hand clenched into a fist where she couldn’t see, still averting his eyes, he asked, "When?"
"Now?"
"When will you return?"
"Maybe..."
Qiao Suisui did not continue.
Because the flow of time in the real world and the game world was different, a few months here were probably just a few minutes outside. But if she were to meet Ye Xi and discuss strategies, then resolve things, at the quickest it would still take days, and who knew how many years would have passed in the game.
She frowned and began to bite her nails again, wondering whether to let Ye Xi resolve the issue of time flow first.
Little did she know that to Zong Fang, her worried expression was essentially an answer. That she would not return.
Zong Fang just stared at her, his face expressionless; he suddenly felt as if everything around him was moving away, very far away from him, even the sound of her speaking seemed muffled, indistinct.
"...Zong Fang, Zong Fang? Did you hear me? I said I must meet..."
Before she could finish, Qiao Suisui felt a sharp pain in the back of her neck and her body softened, falling directly into the arms of the man.
Zong Fang, holding the injection, trembled; he held the unconscious person tightly in his arms.
His eyes stared ahead, unfocused, his voice dry as if talking to himself.
"I won’t let you leave. Even if you blame me, hate me, I need you by my side."
