Husband you've abandoned me. Fine, I'll focus on raising my son-Chapter 233: Guilty Auditor
CURRENTLY EDITING
LOUIS’ POV
"So, whilst we wait for the family to sort this out, you’re yet to give me an update on everything," Angela asked me. "I am yet to hear about your relationship with Jasmine Towers, your childhood friend."
"Oh, right, about that," I started.
I explained my relationship with Jasmine. I told her how much I enjoyed our booming romance, her difficult relationship with Keith. Then finished off with what was currently happening; Keith was possibly keeping her against her will.
"Wow, that is a lot," she told me. "I don’t think I talked to Jasmine much growing up, but I recall she was a sweet girl."
"You’re in a difficult position," she told me. "He has all the legal power to hold her."
I brought my hands to my face as I contemplated my situation.
"Do you trust her to remain loyal to you and not get back with her ex?" she asked.
"Yes, without a doubt," I instantly replied.
Her eyes widened. "I love how much you trust and care for her," she said to me.
"I do,"
"Mmhmm, as for what you can do..." she started.
The doors opened, interrupting my conversation with Angela. I looked up and found our father reentering the room.
He flashed Angela a look. "Can I interrupt?"
"Of course," Angela answered and got up from her seat. "We’ll finish this off later," she said and left the room.
"I’ll see you on Monday morning at the HQ. I’ll have a new assistant for you, and I will give you further details then."
"What will happen to the garden house?" I asked, surprised by how sudden all this was.
"Someone will be appointed," he told me.
"You still haven’t asked if I accept these terms?" I pointed out to my father.
"Do you have a problem? If you don’t want, that’s fine, I can let you stay at the garden house," he told me.
I searched my father’s eyes as I thought about it. If I accepted would have more power to support Jasmine.
"Yes, I accept," I agreed.
"Excellent. Then I will see you on Monday," he said to me.

KEITH’S POV
That evening, when Jasmine and I had returned home, I went through my emails and saw a response from the bank. 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚
"Dear Mr. Acland,
We are writing to report that we have found the employee within our company who was responsible for changing your bank account transactions.
We would like to invite you to a meeting at our office to further discuss and present to you the full details of our findings.
Kind regards,
Branch Manager,
Mr Boar.
My eyes widened in pleasant surprise. Finally, after 2 weeks, they had found out who the employee was.
I sent a response to them almost immediately. I informed that I wanted to see them as soon as possible to receive the details.
Moments later, I received sent a response that he was free whenever I wanted to see him.
We agreed on tomorrow morning, which was a Saturday. The sooner I could get the details the better.
Reading this email reminded me of this whole conspiracy. This person or people had infiltrated my home, my work, my life, these people were deep within my camp. The fact terrified me.
At dinner, I informed Jasmine, who insisted on coming with me but I firmly refused. I was only going to be out for about half the day since it was the weekend.
When it came time for bed, I lay in my sheets and rolled around for a while.
However, I couldn’t sleep yet again. I stopped by jasmine’s door for a moment wondering if she was asleep yet before I continued on. Part of the reason I refused her going with me was because of how much she overworked her self. I wanted her to rest for a bit. I went to my office and tried to continue working. I continued looking into the folders to find inconsistencies.

The following morning I got up early, having had only a few hours of sleep. I got ready for the day and left my bedroom. I went to the room next to mine to see Jasmine.
Upon entering the room, I saw she was still sleeping. Since it was the weekend, I could leave Jasmine at home. I was relieved not to have her move around.
Tears were in the corners of her closed eyes. And I recalled how this whole situation was stressful for her. I brought my hand close to her cheek and hovered for a moment. If she was awake she would kill me. I then gently removed a strand from her face and withdrew my hand.
I looked at all the files on the desk table beside her bed. She was working hard to solve this case and to find the culprit.
I left the estate and arrived at the bank. Upon arriving and entering the building I was led to mangers office by one of the employees.
"Mr Boar?" I asked as I approached the branch manager was waiting by the door of his office.
"Yes, Good morning, Mr Acland," he said as he shook my hand. "Please come inside."
He then led me to his desk and had me sit on the opposite seat.
"On behalf of the bank, we are grateful you could make it this morning, and once again we apologize for this grave error and any inconveniences caused," he told me.
My eyes narrowed as I glared at the manager. I was still in disbelief of how they could have let this happen right under their nose.
"As we informed you in the email we have caught the culprit and he has been arrested by the authorities just yesterday, Chairman," he started.
He then presented me with a folder and opened it to show a page about a man.
"His name is Justin Pullman, one of our trusted auditors in our branch. He was in charge of overseeing the daily operations and transactions of the bank.
