Hunter X Hunter: The Strongest Assassin Of The Zoldyck Family!-Chapter 529: - – Kaizen, Here!
Kaizen was a bit surprised when he got the call from Netero.
He hadn’t expected things to turn out like this.
"Kaizen, I need a favor."
"You’re too polite, Chairman."
After hanging up, Kaizen looked at Nina and the others.
"I’ve got something to take care of. I’m heading down."
He stepped into the elevator.
Ding!
The elevator began its descent.
At the 200th floor, it stopped, and someone stepped inside.
"Kaizen...sama?"
"Kastro. Long time no see."
In terms of age, Kastro was older.
But when it came to strength, Kaizen far surpassed him.
And more importantly, Kaizen’s rank and reputation in Heavens Arena placed him well above Kastro. 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚
That’s why Kastro called him "sama."
"Where you headed?"
"Outside," Kaizen replied.
Kastro asked, "What about you?"
"50th floor. Got something to do."
"Need a hand?"
"It’s just a small matter. No need."
Kaizen paused, then asked, "By the way, you’re on the 200th floor now, right? How many wins so far?"
"Eight."
"If you’re free, I’d like to set up a match for you."
"A match?"
"My cousin," Kaizen explained. "He hasn’t learned Nen yet. But soon—when he reaches the 200th floor—I want you to show him what the world of a true Nen user looks like."
"Sure. No problem."
"Appreciate it."
"Not at all. Compared to everything you’ve done for me, this is nothing."
The elevator stopped.
50th floor.
Kaizen stepped out.
Kastro watched him leave before letting the elevator doors close.
"Kaizen-sama’s cousin, huh..."
He couldn’t help but feel curious.
...
Kaizen arrived at the entrance of a coffee shop. Around a square table, several familiar faces were gathered.
"Kaizen! Over here!"
Killua waved.
Kaizen glanced over.
"Killua. Gon."
Sadaso stood and introduced himself politely.
"Kaizen-sama. I’m Sadaso. A 200th floor fighter in Heavens Arena."
"Nice to meet you."
Kaizen turned to another man.
"You must be Wing-san?"
"I am."
"Wing-san, would you mind using Ren to show your aura? It’s the clearest way to judge these things."
"Of course."
Wing nodded. A visible aura flared into view around his body.
"That’ll do."
Kaizen could tell right away—Wing’s aura carried clear similarities to Netero’s.
There was a familiar texture to it. Just like Netero’s. Just like Maha Zoldyck’s.
The Nen techniques were clearly cut from the same cloth.
For those who truly understand aura, this sort of connection is easy to spot.
Of course, that’s only if you’re someone well-versed in the different schools of Nen.
Most people? They don’t even realize Nen has schools.
Rookies at Heavens Arena, members of the Shadow Beasts, even the Phantom Troupe from Meteor City...
And the Three Dogs, Four Beasts, and Six Friends of Saherta that Kaizen once fought—
None of them practiced a recognizable Nen style.
...
Kaizen turned back to Killua and Gon.
"Killua, Gon. Wing-san is the teacher Chairman Netero arranged for you."
"We figured," Killua said. "Chairman Netero already mentioned him on the phone."
Hearing that from Kaizen confirmed it.
Kaizen addressed Wing again.
"I’ll leave them in your hands."
"Not a problem. I’m happy to teach."
Wing turned to the two boys.
"Now that you’ve confirmed who I am, come with me. I’ve arranged a training space outside where I’ll be teaching you Nen."
Killua and Gon exchanged a glance.
"Yes."
Wing nodded to Kaizen and Sadaso.
"Kaizen-san. Sadaso-san. I’ll take them from here."
"Go ahead," Kaizen said.
...
During the call with Netero, Kaizen had learned the whole story.
He turned to Sadaso.
"Sadaso, thank you for helping watch over Killua."
"You’re welcome. I’ve known Killua for a while. Just doing what I can."
"Still, Killua owes you one."
Kaizen paused, then added, "I can offer you an invite to TST. Interested?"
"TST?" Sadaso blinked.
"It’s a private group. Formed around a few of the Floor Masters. If you join, you’ll get certain privileges—but there are also responsibilities. The people in it are no pushovers."
...
"In Heavens Arena, most Floor Masters join small, tight-knit groups."
Sadaso’s eyes lit up.
"Would it... be too much trouble?"
Kaizen didn’t explain further—just asked again, calmly.
"Do you want in?"
Sadaso hesitated, then clenched his fists.
"Yes. Thank you."
He didn’t fully understand what TST was, but from what little Kaizen had said, Sadaso knew one thing:
This could be his only chance.
A group centered around the Floor Masters—filled with top-tier fighters—wasn’t something someone like him stumbled into often.
If he missed this shot, it might never come again.
Joining a group like that could give him insight into how the strongest fighters think.
Even a few casual tips could save him years of wandering blindly.
If he truly hoped to become a Floor Master, then TST was a shortcut.
"Give me your number. I’ll message you when the time comes."
"Yes, Kaizen-sama."
Sadaso gave him the number without hesitation.
Kaizen nodded and walked away.
Sadaso stood still, watching his figure disappear.
"Kaizen-sama... Thank you."
"Thank you too."
He felt nothing but gratitude now—for his decision earlier.
For daring to question Wing’s identity, even if it wasn’t really his place.
At first, it had felt like it wasn’t his business.
But deep down, Sadaso had sensed something. Wing was strong. Far stronger than he was.
He hadn’t needed to feel it. He could just tell.
Someone who could teach Nen. Who had passed the Hunter Exam. Who had Kaizen’s approval.
That kind of person had to be a powerhouse.
And yet, he had still spoken up—for Killua’s safety.
That small act of caution had brought him an incredible reward.
A door had opened.
And Sadaso knew: he wouldn’t let this chance slip away.
