Chapter 213: Chapter 213: Home Sweet Home

A week later...

In the end, Harry was allowed to leave the hospital, although he was not allowed to do any strenuous activities first. He and Claudia returned to Edenburgh by taking the executive train, which required quite a long journey. He is still not used to taking the train because up to now, every time he travels to a very distant city, he always takes a jet plane. While enjoying the beautiful view of the village just through the window, his eyes were sparkling.

"The view is beautiful, Claudia."

Seeing Harry’s very childish attitude even though he was usually always a perfectionist, Claudia laughed so hard her stomach hurt. "You look like you’ve come out of a cave. This is because of your habit of flying jet planes."

"All this time I’ve only been out of town on business trips. It’s impossible for me to take a train that takes hours." Harry looked at the whole train with a happy smile. "No wonder you felt at home when you ran away from me at that time. This train has very complete facilities and the beds are quite soft."

"But, I still couldn’t sleep well because I felt guilty about leaving you at that time."

Harry folded his arms. "So, now you finally admit your mistake?"

"This time I won’t act rashly again. I would rather us stay together like now."

Harry’s eyes focused on the diamond ring still on his wife’s ring finger. "Are you still wearing our wedding rings?"

Claudia nodded shyly. "Even though we are divorced, I can’t let go of this ring."

"But you have to let it go because we are not husband and wife anymore." Harry took off the ring on Claudia’s ring finger, then put it in the sling bag.

Harry laid Claudia’s body and his body on the bed slowly while hugging Claudia’s body tightly. Looking at his wife’s gloomy face, Harry already knew what the reason was. Now their status is officially divorced, so Claudia feels that she is no longer considered special.

"Claudia, even though we are not husband and wife, I still consider you my wife."

Claudia pursed her lips. "Then why did you take off our wedding ring? You don’t like seeing me still wearing the ring even though you took it off a long time ago?"

"Actually, my goal is to take off your ring because I want to be a better husband than before. I want to propose to you again in a more appropriate way than before. Previously you were the one who proposed to me, now it’s my turn to propose to you. I want to find the right moment to propose to you."

Initially her lips were curled up, now they are showing a sweet curve again. Her eyes flickered, her left hand touched her husband soft cheek. "I’m very sorry that I held a grudge against you. Because I thought Liam was the murderer who killed me at that time, that’s why when I lived in this world, I wanted to take revenge on you."

"That’s the main reason you want to marry me suddenly?"

Claudia nodded weakly. "I’m sorry. I married you before just wanting to use you. But, as time went by you treated me sincerely, I couldn’t bear to kill you and I love you more and more."

Not angry, but Harry kissed Claudia’s nose briefly with a sweet smile. "I still won’t be angry even though you forced me to be your husband in the past and proposed to me in an awkward way."

"Are you really not angry? If I were to face another man now, I would definitely be hated for the rest of my life."

"Therefore, you should be grateful because you have me. I don’t care that you lied to me from the start and that you actually intended to kill me because you thought that in the real world I would kill you, I won’t be angry. Because I felt that from the start I was born, I was not considered a human."

"But, when I first said that I thought of you as a human, it wasn’t a lie. I did think of you as a human even though at that time I still had a grudge against you. If you weren’t human, when we were officially engaged, you would have locked me up and tortured me like your father did."

The gaze that Harry gave became increasingly intense, so that Claudia liked that gaze even more which made her heart bloom after facing the great disaster that befell them.

"It seems like I was born just to meet you. You are the first person to think of me as a human." Harry kissed his wife’s cheek again. "Thank you for teaching me what life really means."

After traveling by train for quite a long time, they finally arrived in Edenburgh at night. During the journey from the station to their residence, Claudia fell asleep on his shoulder, making Harry’s smile even happier. It had been a long time since he enjoyed the sight of his wife sleeping peacefully on his shoulder.

"By the way, should I take you back to your house?" Thomas asked doubtfully.

"Do I need to repeat that? Don’t make a noise, my wife will wake up!" Harry said in a curt tone making Thomas swallow nervously.

"I’m just making sure because your status is now divorced. Usually when couples are divorced, they live in separate houses."

"In fact, I want to sleep with my wife in the same room. Even though our relationship status has changed in writing, our feelings have never changed. I still consider Claudia to be my wife."

Hearing Harry’s constant gossip made Sarah smile to herself as she stared at the window. "Claudia is very lucky to have a loving husband like you, Harry. If she heard it directly, she would definitely be even more grateful to be your wife."

"You should record what Harry said earlier so Claudia can hear it over and over again," suggested Thomas, looking at Sarah.

"No need. I’ll tell her directly when she wakes up," Harry argued while looking at his wife who was still sleeping like a baby.

"By the way, do you really want to see Vivian tomorrow? Don’t you want to rest first?" Thomas asked, changing the conversation.

"I don’t want to rest for too long. All my and Claudia’s problems must be resolved quickly, so that Claudia and I can live in peace after we remarry."
