House of The Dragon-A God Amongst Men-Chapter 94: The Raven’s Blood

(Drakken's POV)

"M-My Lord...." I heard Mya say as our consciences were transported back to the physical world, "I..."

I looked at them, they had stumbled to their knees as I held the Raven in my hand, squeezing it as it let out a loud caw.

"Hm." I said, "Are you well?"

She placed her hand on her head, "Somewhat..." She said, "I feel dizzy, that is all."

Olyver looked at me, "You are emitting a strange light, My Lord." He said as he struggled to stand up, "What is...."

I looked back at the Raven, it was beginning to bleed from every inch of its stupid little body. I could feel an immense amount of nature magic oozing from its blood.

"Heh." I smirked as I held the bird out a bit more and squeezed it

It let out a pained shriek as it imploded, lots of blood pouring out and falling into the ground. The blood emitted steam alongside a strange stench. As it did so, I stepped back and sensed that there was a strange reaction between the blood and the ground.

The ground began to tremble slightly as the entire pool of blood began to ripple violently.

"Let us see if this is successful." I said as I looked at the massive pool of blood, "If not, all of this was for nothing."

I then watched as the blood began to swirl to a single point, wooden branches sprouting from the ground slowly. I could feel a tense feeling from the wood as it began to form into a thin and twisted Weirwood Tree right in front of us.

At least it looked like a Weirwood Tree, it had the same properties as one but was missing the carved face.

"My Lord..." Mya said as she stumbled over to me, "What is this?"

I caught her with my arm and held her firmly, watching as the tree stopped sprouting and stood tall, around eight feet and was somewhat thin, almost like it was malnourished. Despite this, I felt an immense amount of magic power emitting from it.

I looked at Olyver, "Call a detachment of Duskguard over. You're overseeing this task." I told him

"My Lord?" He said with a confused look

I raised my hand, and black-ether began to swirl around it, releasing a bit of pressure. I then saw an axe begin to appear from the ether and drop down to the air. I caught the handle before it fell to the ground and tossed it over to Olyver.

"You will cut down this Tree and take it over to Harrenhal." I said, "But best be careful. If this tree dies, it is on you. Although, I have reason to believe it is quite resilient."

"It is emitting an immense amount of power...." Sara said, "It calls to me.....what is it that you've created, Lord Drakken?"

"The next step in the Trinity's Glory." I said with a chuckle,

"A way to promise our followers eternity."

(Third Person POV)

[King's Landing]

"So you mean to tell me that the Lannisters and The Martells are scheming behind our backs?" Jaehaerys said while scowling, "What gall do they have? Why must they always complicate things?"

They were in the Small Council Room, a meeting had been called to discuss the current ordeal with two of the Great Houses and House Drakkengard. The King had been informed that Drakken had met with an envoy from House Martell at Casterly Rock and had another deal made with House Lannister.

"I can understand the Martells." Septon Barth said, "But the Lannisters? I will admit, that is a surprise."

"It was Tyland's deal with him that House Drakkengard has become one of the wealthiest houses in the Realm." Lord Arryn said, "I don't understand why we don't punish him, make an example out of him."

"He has a detachment of Duskguard soldiers." The Grand Maester said, "It would be foolish to antagonize him with manpower."

"I agree." Lord Arryn said, "But we have dragons."

"All due respect." Septon Barth said, "But Dragons have been used against House Drakkengard, yet they failed. That person is without a doubt a direct danger to them."

"There is also that matter that the Queen brought forth." The Grand Maester said, "In order to allow Maegelle to visit King's Landing, that person wants to drain the blood of Balerion."

"That cannot happen." Barth said with a frown, "To defile the Targaryen's symbol of power? No, it cannot be done! We should keep him over at bay for as long as possible."

"My Queen wants our daughter here, no matter if it is for a week." Jaehaerys said

"You can't be contemplating something like that?" Barth asked, "Your Grace, that is ridiculous! Balerion is ill, our Keepers have admitted that he has gotten worse. If he drains his blood, Balerion could die."

"He has the power to heal him as well." Jaehaerys said, "We could work a deal out. Whatever he wants with his blood, it appears it has to do with his own personal power. However, it could work out in our favor. If we can have him restore Balerion to his fullest, it could give us an advantage."

"Vhagar lost against one of his beasts." Lord Arryn said, "Will Balerion do better?"

"Vhagar is not Balerion in his prime." Jaehaerys said, "None of our other dragons are, not even Vermithor."

The doors opened, and someone walked in, rushed over to Septon Barth, and handed him a small paper. The Hand of The King took the paper and watched as the person rushed away, the doors closing behind them. King Jaehaerys recognized the person to be one of his Hand's messengers; he had come to deliver an important message that would be relayed to the Room.

Barth read the paper, and his eyes widened, "Impossible....."

Jaehaerys frowned. "What is it?"

"There has been a sighting of another Star falling down and crashing upon the Land." Barth said, "But rather than Westeros, it fell in Essos, near Andalos."

"Are you certain?" Jaehaerys said, "Why have we not heard of it?"

"It happened around the same time the villages were slaughtered." Barth said, "Although, my sources cannot be entirely sure. The crash site was much smaller than the one from a few years ago in the Stormlands. From what this message says, there was a couple of metals that were taken by locals in it...."

"Metals from a Star..." Lord Arryn, "Could this be another House Dayne situation?"

"Perhaps." The Grand Maester said, "But what could this mean for our situation?"

"It could mean many things." Barth said, "Particularly, another person like our false god might be running around in Essos. The Queen has confronted him on several occasions about those incidents yet Maegelle has confirmed that it was not him..."

"Or it could mean that these metals come from the same place he did." Jaehaerys said seriously, "Metals from the stars.....that possess the same powers as him..."
