(Drakken's POV)

"W-What would we even name our child?" I heard Maegelle say

I was crouching down, inspecting the water of the pond outside of Harrenhal, when she suddenly asked me this.

I looked up at her, "Huh?"

She was blushing slightly, "I mean...." she said, "If we do have one.....w-what would we name it?"

"I don't know." I said as I looked down at the water, "Mya and Daranne named my sons. You can name it whatever you want."

"I see...." She said, "Well....I do not know if...a Targaryen name would be appropriate, given that you do not like my family."

"You can name our child whatever you desire, it will still be mine." I said as I ran my hand on the water, "But to have a child, we must have sex again. And we haven't done that since the war...Unless.....you want me.....right here? Under the sun? Ho, Maegelle, what a naughty woman you are."

"N-No....I don't!" She said as she looked away

"I merely tease." I said, "I don't really mind what name that child will have. We'll focus on it when we get there."

"I....I have been wondering...." She said

"Speak your mind. Your curiosity has been at an all time peak." I said as I looked down at the water

"Who named you?" She asked

I stopped running my hand through it, staring right at my reflection, "What?"

"You said that your mother died when you were born." She said, "Surely, someone must have named you, right? Not just that, you must have been raised by someone. You were just a child...."

I straightened up and patted my hands, "Sometimes." I said with a serious tone, "There are questions that should not be asked."

"Hm?" She said, "O-Oh, I am so sorry. Forgive me for overstepping...."

I looked at her, her eyes were full of curiosity. There was a certain allure to her, she was so beautiful at this moment.

I took a step forward to her and saw that she looked down, "You are so beautiful." I said as I reached for her hand, "Very beautiful. You are akin to a goddess....."

"Goddess...." She said while blushing

"You say you love me." I started, "Are you certain?"

She looked away, "Well.....I spoke my mind." She said softly, "I do not intend on repeating myself."

I kissed her hand, "Very well." I said, "You wish to learn the truth then."

She looked at me, "I...just want to understand you." She said, "I....have a loose understanding of what I am looking at. Your eyes.....they are empty, Drakken. They are those of someone who has been alone all his life. You walked your lands for so long...trying to fill that void...."

"Hm." I said as I grabbed her by the waist, "Is that so?"

She nodded, "I.....I have fallen in love with a complicated man." She said softly, "I just....I just want to know who he truly is.....that is all..."

"A Dragon." I told her

"Hm?" She said with a surprised look

"A Dragon named me." I told her

"A Dragon?" She repeated

"They are unlike these creatures that your House holds." I told her, "They are far more powerful, more intelligent beings that have lived far longer than the Mortal races. And one of them named me."

"Oh." She said softly, "I see...."

"I was nameless for the majority of my childhood." I said as I leaned closer, "I was It. Until He descended upon the land..."

"He.....?" She said

"Corvinus." I said as I pulled away and turned around, "The Dragon God of Darkness....."

"The one that I had to kill to ascend."

"You are getting much closer to Maegelle." Mya said as she leaned on my shoulder, "What could this mean?"

"Nothing much." I shrugged, "What did you think it meant?"

We were in my chambers, I was sitting in my desk, reading a book about the History of Old Valyria. Mya had decided to join me for tonight, but I did not seem that interest in bedding anyone.

There was something that was bothering me.

"Are you going to marry her?" She asked me

"I don't know." I told her, "That is up to her."

"Hm...." Mya said with a chuckle, "She loves you, eh?"

"So she says." I said

"And you do to." She told me

I stopped reading and I looked at her, "What?"

"You can deny it all you want. You really care deeply for her." She said, "You show her affection.....and she has made you soft."

"Not anymore." I said, "Every action and inaction I make.....it is because I choose to."

"I understand." She said, "I am just saying....I think this is good. I want her to take you before the other one does."

"Hm." I said

"When the other one joins us, I fear she will have you wreak havoc." She said with a chuckle

"Nobody can control me." I said with a scowl

"I know." She said, "I am merely saying my mind."

"Tch...." I said

"I have a question." She said as she rubbed my chest, "May My Lord answer it?"

"What is it?" I asked

"What have you truly done?" She asked as she leaned in to my ear, "When you went to the Dark Shade, I saw you merge something into it..."

"Hm." I said

"I know you, My Lord." She said, "You have a scheme.....that is why you want the Dark Shade to be fixed as soon as possible."

I grabbed her by the chin, "You...." I said with a slight smirk, "Are too smart for your own good, my vixen..."

I snapped my fingers and all of a sudden, we were no longer in my chambers. We were in the sub-basement level of the castle, where my experiments are.

She straightened up, "What....?"

I stood up from my chair and walked over to a crystal wall that was darkened out.

"What you saw me insert into the Dark Shade was a consciousness...." I said, "A Mind....to safeguard it. I just had a talk with Maegelle how my Death ability works. I need both the Mind and Soul to be placed in the repaired Body in order to bring someone back from the death."

I tapped the wall with my finger, and light began to appear on it.

Mya walked over to it, "Is that....?" She said softly, "My Lord....what is it that you are planning?"

I looked at the wall, seeing that inside it, the bare and naked body of Jocelyn Baratheon was in it, her eyes closed as she was suspended upright.

I nodded, "Oh yes." I said, "You see, I haven't had the chance to resurrect someone in this world. Preventing someone from dying and making them immortal is one thing. But after someone is truly dead and for a long time, I wonder what the effects would be. She is my experiment. And if things go the way I plan....."
