Hollywood Zenith-Chapter 1217 : Answers-2
"Oh my god! I-i.." The girl was petrified. She was startled by Samuel's sudden movement which led to her drawing her service weapon but she didn't mean to kill him.
She began shaking as her mind went blank. In her haste she dropped her loaded weapon but Samuel jumped and caught it.
"Lady...Are you seriously trying to kill me?" He stood up clutching his shoulder. Fortunately, it was a shoulder wound and the bullet passed through but there was some bone damage which hurt like hell.
"You...You..." She slumped to the ground seeing he was alright. It was a relief but she knew she was in trouble.
She shouldn't even be here as she was off duty. There had been some sightings of the stolen vehicle last seen heading down this route.
Such cases weren't a priority for the department but she felt sorry for the victim and decided to take this long road in seaech of clues not knowing that she would discover a bloodied man at the side of the road.
She didn't know it yet but stolen vehicle was a piece of a much larger puzzle which involved the last two attacks on the Estate.
"There is no need for you to be scared. I know that it was an accident, I shouldn't have reached for you." Samuel leaned down and handed her the weapon.
She took it with her shaking hand before looking up at Samuel who looked very scary up close.l but she found his glistening emerald eyes enchanting for some reason.
Samuel also studied her. When he first saw her, he thought it was Talia but now that he took a close to at the woman, he was sure they weren't even related.
The rookie policewoman was mixed race with curly hair and slightly darker skin tone but why he was thrown off balance must be their eerie familiar figure.

She also had thick glasses and unkempt appearance something unlikely to be seen in girls who like to take care of themselves and more likely to be seen in people who made their work their life!
He shook his head knowing he mist be hallucinating because of the drug.
"What, what are you going to do to me?" She asked apprehensively.
"Me? I don't even know you. I don't know why you are here this late but I suggest you take a different route or even change your shift to avoid any future troubles." Samuel didn't have time to entertain the woman in blue.
He stood up and began walking away lamenting at his fate of getting injured again. Others might be worried about the cops but in his world, the law enforcement were nothing.
Most of the high ranking people would outright avoid dealing with people like him unless he did something so heinous that they couldn't cover it up. If they did their jobs right, he wouldn't have to go after the Green himself so there was a little bit of resentment in his heart toward the police.
He was also sure the girl was a rookie and since she already made a mistake, she would have a whole lot of trouble explaining about her missing bullet.
Many people wouldn't even believe her ridiculous story and even if they did they would never find him as he had already collected the bullet just for safety reasons.
"Stop! I will not say it again!" The girl composed herself and again waved her gun around telling him to surrender.
He was shocked. Didn't she understand the trouble she was in? He half expected her to run away in fear. Maybe there was something wrong with her, didn't he look scary enough?
"What now? Didn't we agree to forgive and forget?"
" I never agreed to anything. You are here in the middle of the woods covered in blood. Don't think I will let you go that easily? Tell me what's going on!" She demanded.
"I was on a hunt and my hand slipped which led me to fall on my prey's body. The only human blood is the oozing from the bullet wound that I just recieved no thanks to you!" Samuel started to get annoyed.
" Very funny. You are coming with me to the station. We will know if it's animal or human blood."
"Are you sure? You will have to tell them about my injury. Maybe it will cost you your job and the city some hefty amount of money as one of the members of police don't even know how to handle their firearm. Do you know most loaded weapon would discharge if dropped from waist height?" Samuel chuckled pointing out her mistakes.
"Don't try to scare me! Now get moving, if you try to do anything don't blame me for shooting you." She seemed unperturbed by his threats.
Samuel shrugged clutching his shoulder feeling thenpain before he started walking toward her car. He thought about just knocking her out and stealing her vehicle but that could really put some heat on him so he abandoned that plan.
"Which branch is it? Is it the one close to the business district?" Samuel asked.
"I-i am not telling you anything." She fiddled around her glove compartment before finding handcuffs to secure him firmly.
But her nervousness did give him the answer to his question. He thought, it wasn't as bad as he thought.
He didn't have to run and had a dedicated driver that would take him to the city. He could take this hour to relax and heal at backseat in peace.
"Alright. Just drive slowly. I am not in any rush." He laid down on the backseat but it was a little uncomfortable with his hands behind his back.
The policewoman didn't know what caused this sudden change in him. He began to cooperate but she didn't dare to let her guard down.
The only thing that mattered to her was to get to the station in one piece. She could tell the man wasn't a normal criminal!
