Hollywood Zenith-Chapter 1107: Ze’s family-1
While Samuel was trying to coax the kids, their mother was trying hard to call her husband, Ze. Even though she had done it dozens of times and even practiced in front of him, she would forget few steps.
Normally when they contacted each other, it was through a satalite phone and he was always the one to call her. Answering was much more easier for someone who wasn’t well versed with technology.
They might want to innovate but there were many forces working from the shadows to keep the whole continent in poor state. They might send relief once in a while but never something substantial not to mention they would uplift dictators and corrupt politicians that would act as their proxy.
It wasn’t just countries from the went but those at the lead of developing countries from the east also had their own stronghold. Since so many interests were involved, Samuel hadn’t managed to come up with a plan for opening more foundations in the region. Somewhat developed places had been intercepted by the Verdant foundation but no major breakthroughs were made yet.
" Hello, Ayize? Don’t tell me you dialed the number yo practice again. I told you we can have a time for that, right now I need to work." Ze’s voice came from the speaker as he sounded more helpless than angry. Experience more content on novelbuddy
The real problem was no one spoke their language and she barely understood english, other than him there was no one to teach her things.
He always had a dream of settling his family here for few years so that they could get proper education but he knew his wofe would definitely revolt if she heard about it.
For them, their ancestral land meant more than life itself. Even during their marriage, his father had to scrap up a lot of resources which imcluded some pastoral land to get the dowry so that his son could get married.
The culture and customs were so different that it would be hard for her yo integrate in society. He knew about his boss’s plan to lead the foundation to do these things in remote places around the globe, he only hoped he could do it faster as his children were already about the age to go to school.

" You are the one whol told me to practice it like my life depended on it! What’s the big deal about not talking? Are you going to leave me and our children alone?" She in turn got angry. She was trying her best.
Ever sinc he told her not to disturb him during work hours, she had been holding back a lot but it didn’t mean that she was happy.
She came to this strange country and most of the times he wasn’t with her or the kids. She would ask him to come home to have lunch but he would decline.
What she didn’t know about was that Ze had been feeling a little insecure staying in a elite team like Night Owl.
He never had any fancy training, the most he could say was he fought with other tribes when he was young but it never compared to battlefield fought with guns.
He had a innate talent for driving but that’s all he was good at. During every low season, he would try to learn more about these machines so that he could fix it himself and he had gotten pretty good at it but that’s when the Paris incident happened.
During the aftermath, they came in contact with technologies that seemed years ahead of present cutting edge technology which made him a lot curious about if he could either do anything with it to make himself worth more to the team.
No one told him or put pressure on him to do such a thing but he was stubborn, tinkering using his years of experience following Steve’s team around. There were no results so he thought about putting more time into it. This was the reason why he was so disconnected with his family even when they were here on his demand!
Ayize had to travel hundreds of kilometres and had to cross borders to get to a city that had international airport. Steve and others helped her obtain important documents and even her tribesmen travelled with her to see her off after all Ze would regularly sent money back and took care of his people.
She felt like he didn’t understand the grueling journey that she took just to come here and be left alone in the home by him because he feared she would disrupt other people’s business?
Although, Ze never intended her to feel such a way but she felt that the people he worked for were not accomodating to someone like her who seemed different and rough.
Unintentionally, she felt like she was b ing discriminated against and his husband couldn’t do anything about it because he was low in ranks. She had seen the wealth of this country and even if he would send money home regularly, it shouldn’t be enough for him to live here.
People would also look at her differently if she went out, the food also didn’t taste good and her children didn’t have the freedom they had back when they were home.
It was true they had to endure the sun and heat but atleast they weren’t kept in a cage like this!
As someone who supported her husband in anything he did, she didn’t want him to continue working for such greedy people. Just the greenery alone here was astounding, everything looked great but it must have came from them doing something evil after all her mind couldn’t really comprehend the concept of the most powerful family in the world even when Ze told her about it.
She was reaching her breaking point but after meeting Samuel and seeing him talk her native language, she felt a little better. Shr wanted to tell Ze about the stranger but he directly ’insulted’ her which made her go on a wide tangent!
